どちらかでしかない。

なんでMuttley氏がそんな暴走しているかは本人とコミュニケーションを取ったことがないので確実なことは言えない。ただ同氏は以前はチャクウィキという別のジョークサイト管理者でもあったが、なんと2018年チャクウィキオーナー谷口一刀氏により管理者解任されていたのだ。理由はMuttley氏のチャクウィキにおける暴走谷口氏が三下り半を突き付けた形。この後Muttley氏はチャクウィキではほぼ活動していない。

CloudflareWARPプライバシー保護には向いていないという話

CloudflareCDNを介してもアクセス元のIPがわかるようにHTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IPというヘッダを吐いています

WARPを利用した場合も同じでCloudflareを利用しているサイトにはWARP利用者オリジナルIPアドレスがわかります

Cloudflareシェアを考えると世の中の3割強のサイトにはVPNを利用してもIPアドレスが筒抜けで、IPアドレスを隠匿したいとかトラッキングを防ぎたいという用途WARPは向かないのです(そもそもIPだけに頼ったトラッキングはもう主流じゃないですけれど)

Cloudflareもこれは分かっていて、WARP普通VPNサービスとは違いますよ、IP隠したいとか地域偽装したい人は別のVPNサービスを使ってくださいねアナウンスしてはいるのですが、WARPを紹介しているネット記事などではこの辺りの事情をきちんと説明していないように思います

VPNトンネリングこそ本義でありプロキシの様な使い方をすべきではない、という話ではあるのですが、WARPを「VPNをよりカジュアルで身近なものに」として売り出している以上、この問題もっと周知されるべきだし、するべきだと思うのです
