悟空とバイデンのケースは状況がよく似ているが、悟空は"I won't forgive you!"としか言わなかったので不自然だが、バイデンは"We will hunt you down and make you pay"と報復の意図を付け加えているので自然とのこと。

昨日のNHKのクローズアップ現代プラスは、低視聴率に終わった前の朝ドラ「舞い上がれ」に合わせて「空飛ぶクルマ」特集だった。特集の中身は「世界各国が参入してますよ」「便利になりますよ」「大阪万博の目玉ですよ」っていういつもと同じ内容。大阪万博の機運を盛り上げるためかNHKでも民放でも「空飛ぶクルマ」特集を毎月1回以上は放送してる印象があって、見るたびに毎回思う疑問が「空飛ぶクルマのどこらへんが『クルマ』なの？」、「それヘリコプターとどう違うの？」という２つ。これらに答えたテレビの特集を見たことがない。特に後者の疑問は、どうして世界で『空飛ぶクルマ』開発の競争が激しくなってるのかっていう重要な問いにもつながるだろうに、NHKのクロ現では大阪万博のための未来感を出すためなのか、こういう現実的な問いかけには一切触れようとしなかった。
そもそも世界各国が参入してるというが、海外ではもちろん「空飛ぶクルマ」なんて名称を使っていない。Flyng Carなどと検索してもドローン型の乗り物がすぐに出てくることはない。では、NHKや万博関係者や日本政府が言う「空飛ぶクルマ」を海外では何と呼ぶのか。eVTOLと呼ぶのである。eVTOLは、Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraftの略称であり、日本語にすれば電動垂直離着陸航空機となる。クロ現では一言も出てこなかった。
ヘリコプターと比べてeVTOLの革命的なところは、1.マルチコプターだからプロペラ1つが故障しても墜落しにくい 2.電動だからSDGs的に優れている 3.エンジンが必要ないから参入障壁が低い 4.エンジンが無い分だけ騒音が小さい などなど複数ある。だいたいEVのガソリン車と比べて有利なところと同じである。つまりEV革命と呼ばれるものの航空機版がeVTOLであり、だからこぞって各国各メーカーが参入してるのである。
eVTOLの開発競争が熱を帯びてるのは現実的な理由によるものであり、「空飛ぶクルマ」という昭和の未来図鑑から持ってきた呼び方を使って「夢」を強調して金をもらうような分野ではすでになくなっており、こんな名称を使い続けてたらガラパゴス化するだけである。だからこそ今すぐ「空飛ぶクルマ」なんて呼び方を捨てるべき。
その他人にとってどう利益があるのかを考えていないと、何が正しいかを追う、指示待ち人間になりやすい。
仕事上なら、自分の正しさなどというものは本当にどうでもよい。「この提案を受け入れたらなぜ相手は利益を得られるのか？」「これを提案することでうちも利益が出るのか？」というところが最も重要である（ただし利益というのは金銭的なメリットに限らない）。逆にこうした他者利益を外さなければだいたい問題ない。仕事で要領がいい人はこれを多かれ少なかれやっている。また、それが事に仕えるということでもある。別に何かを教えられなくても、大抵どうすれば良いのかがわかっている。また、誰がその場のボスか（肩書きによらない）もわかっている。
他者利益のことさえわかれば、人は簡単に覚醒する。一度、自分の存在などというものはどうだってよいと考えてしまえばよろしい。相手、相手、相手。常に相手が重要である。相手にとって自分がどれほどの利益を生む存在か、自分の立案によって相手がいかなる利益を得られるか、徹底的に利益を提供する。「相手のことを考える」というのは、自分の利益のために相手のことを考える、ということではない。相手のことを愛するがごとく考えるということだ。こうした考え方は単なる禁欲主義ではなく、近代資本主義の精神で説明されている。情けは人の為ならず（他人に情けをかければ自分にも良い報いが返ってくるのだから、他人に情けをかけつづければよい）ということわざで考えてもよい。「自分を犠牲にしろ」という意味ではない。犠牲という考え方がすでに主客転倒である。
わかりやすい話で言うならば、たとえば小売の素人でマニュアルを渡されていなくても、大きな声で笑顔で挨拶し、困っている客がいたら助け、何らかの商品の品切れを見かけたらどうすればいいかわからなくても上司に報告することはできる。マニュアルがなぜ存在しなければならないかも知っている。マニュアルがあれば、分厚いマニュアルであってもよく読む。マニュアルの作成者に思いを馳せる。マニュアルの間違いを発見する。マニュアルが全てではないことも知っている。こういったことは、いちいち教えられるまでもなく「わかっていること」である。そしてそういう人は「わかってるヤツ」「コミュニケーションコストが低いヤツ」「俺の役に立ちそう」「この人のおかげで私のメリットが増えそう」だと認識され、客は増え、利潤も向上し、よく教え込まれる。また、これは他人に利益を渡せば自分にも利益があるというだけで、「思いやりの心を持て」とは少し異なる。
しかし、他人の人生について深く考えていない人は「なぜ大きな声を出さねばならんのか」「笑顔をわざわざ作りたくない」「挨拶は別に意味がない」「困っている客がいたときになんで助けなければいけないのか」「品切れっていってもあれは別の部門のやつでしょう」「なんで仕事を教えてくれないんだ？」「マニュアルなんて読みたくない」「マニュアル通りやればいいのだろう」のようになっていて、1つ1つが分断されていて、繋がってないように見える。「正しさ」「自己利益」を追求するとこういった1つ1つが "障害物のようなもの" に見え、細かい無数の障害物のようなものに「自分の正しさ」「自分の人生」を邪魔されているように見えるのではないか？ そして、本来覚えなくてもいい1つ1つの大量のものごとを別々にそれぞれ覚えなければならなくなる。したがって、仕事ができず、そして不自由であり、湧き出てきた不平不満の感情や他人に支配される。
それから知識の保有量が相手の方が高すぎると思考停止状態になりやすい。まず、1回だけで相手の話を理解できるというのは自分を過信しており、うぬぼれである。何を言っているかわからなくなるのはある意味当然で、言葉や全体の概要を知らないと何を求められているかわからなくなる。そして「よくわからなくて途中から思考停止」という状態は、話を聞いていないということだ。そうならば、お互い時間の無駄だ。罵倒ではない。実際に、お互いの人生を空費している。人の話を聞いていなければわかるわけがない。そしてその聞いていなかった話を前提にした話がまた出てきたら、絶対にわかるわけがない。キャパオーバーならキャパオーバーで、録音なり録画なりすればいい。そうせず、わかったふりをした顔で振る舞うのは自己保身であり、欺瞞であり、誤魔化しであり、ずるく、誠実ではない。そういった人間の末路は、若いときに見てきただろう。無能の烙印を押されて輪から排除され、必死に他人のおこぼれにしがみついている彼らのことだ。
また、40近い人に求められる仕事は、社会全体・会社全体・部門全体を見て利益をあげるような仕事や何も答えが無い仕事が多いはずである。だから「何が求められているか？」とか「何がダメだったか？」とかを人に聞いて回るのは相当な違和感がある。そりゃあもちろん、ヒアリングすべきときもある。ただ、そういうやり方をずっとやっているのは会社に依存している人材である。これを、ぶら下がり社員と言う。周りに聞くのも本来は give と take が必要になるから、普段からtakerになっていると、周りもあまり真剣に受け止めてくれないし、めんどくさがる。若手のときの仕事の仕方を変えるべきタイミングであり、視座を上げなければいけない。外から情報や知識を仕入れてきて、それを会社に還元する必要がある。
これは自分が若手（と言ってもおそらく私は増田よりかなり年下だが）によく言ってることだが「自分の頭だけで考えようとするな」ということをよく言っている。相手は自分ではないのだから、よく聞きよく調べよく読みよく書くのが良い。金を払って第三者と相談するのでもいいし、さまざまなジャンルの本を大量に読んでもいい。下手の考え休むに似たりとも言う。考えても無駄なら他人の知恵を借りるべきであり、考えても無駄なことを考えていて、考えるべきことを考えていないのでおかしなことになるのではないか。
仕事の行き詰まりは、長年サボってきたツケが最近表面化して、自己認識可能な領域にまで来ただけであろう。潔く無知を認め、愚かさをさらけ出し、一歩一歩進むしかない。近道を求めるな。
元増田はお疲れさまでした。そんな大変な状況の中で転職決めて偉いし優秀だと思う。
これ、「ヘッドカウント1として数えられない、生産性の低い社員をどうフォローするか問題」で、どこの職場でも起こりうる問題。家庭の事情（育児、介護）、能力不足、やる気不足、軽微な障害（発達障害、対人スキル）などなど、生産性の低さはいろんな原因が考えられる((今回の当該社員について、夜に仕事してるって元増田は言ってるけど、たぶんアウトプットの量も質も元増田から見たら不満だったんじゃないかなと推測する))。今回は「育児中」っていう属性のため、当該社員を責めづらく感じてしまうけど、結局のところ評価制度が機能していない会社の問題だと思う。元増田の貢献を周りから見える・金銭的な形で評価できない = 不公平感が残る、っていうこと。自分の能力を活かせる職場を見つけて、元増田が新天地で活躍することを祈る。
この手の生産性が低い同僚に出会ったらどうすればいいか？自分がマネージャー層ではない平社員だったらどうすべきか？ちょっと考えてみた。
これに尽きる。「1時間一緒に作業しましょうか」と時間で区切ったり、「このファイルは私がひな形作っておきますね、それ以降は埋めてください」と作業量を明確に決めるのもよし。
引継ぎやほうれんそうは、いつでも応じるのではなく、時間を決めてやる。その時間に相手が来れなければ、メールで要点のみ伝えるor引き延ばす。締め切りまでにできなかったら相手の責任。無視したり無駄に遅延させたら嫌な奴だけど、これだけやってあげてそれは十分なサポートでした、それでも無理でした、は相手の責任というスタンス。なんでもミーティングしたがる系の人は概して生産性が低いので応じる必要がないと思っている。今忙しいので後にしてもらえますか？で割と切っている。生産性高い人は、相手の時間も大事にする。きっちり引継ぎ時間まで考慮してスケジュール立ててることが多い気がする。
パワハラ！XXハラ！って騒がれないように、丁寧過ぎないけど同僚として十分サポートしてる、という実績を残すのがポイント。なので、面倒だけどメールは結構有効。
下にある「恩を売る」にもあるが、緊急事態的に、助けて！！が来るときは協力することもある（自分が忙しすぎるとき、うまみがなさすぎるときは、理由をつけてごめんなさいすることもある）。そういうときは応じていいけど、その代わりの交換条件を出しておく。今回は緊急事態なのでスケジュールあけて対応します、その代わり今月後半の作業が滞るのであまり助けられなくなると思うから事前に仕事時間の確保をお願いしますね、とか、今度のXX手伝ってね、とか。結果は上司や他同僚とも共有する。
正直なところ、生産性の低い人はこの手の交渉事ができない場合が多い。でも無理やりコミットさせる。できない場合は助けない。コミットさせてできなかった=失敗した、生産性低いね、っていう実績を残すのが目的、
フォローの頑張りが評価されない=上司が無能、会社の評価システムがダメなので、会社を変えずに頑張りたい場合、もっと権限がある人にアピールするのがよさそう。なので、上司の上司（skip-level, 日本語だとなんていうんだ？？）に評価してもらえるように成果をアピールし続ける。自分の成果をアピールしつつ、暗に「当該社員がダメな奴なんだ」という印象になるように伝える。
正直なところ、生産性が低い人は、みんなに生産性が低いなって気づかれていることが多い。助けてあげていることは堂々とアピールする。タダで助けてやっていると思われると損するのでアピールして自分の手柄にする=ちゃっかりしてる、と思われたほうが長期的には損しない気がする。
上3つのことをしていると、結構厳しい人っていう印象になる。なので、たまに「サービス」してあげる。些細なことでいいので、普段やらないようなちょっとしたサービスをする。期待値をコントロールされたうえで＋αをやってあげるとすごくいい人感が出るらしい（不良が猫を可愛がる、みたいな）。当然だけど、これは当該社員にやさしくしてあげている自分を、ほかの優秀な社員にアピールし、人格者であることを示すのが目的。
上を2年間弱続けた結果、生産性が低い人は部署異動になった。2年は長いが、ほかに大きな不満はなかったので、良しとする。
上に挙げたことは、どこの会社でも成立するものではないし、誰でもできるものではないし、すべきでないことも含まれているかもしれない。とはいえ、信賞必罰、そしてGive & Takeという言葉もある通り、みんな正当な対価をもらう必要があると思う。つまり、仕事をしている人は評価され、していない人は評価されないべき論者。生産性が低いってことはその仕事があってないってことで、そしたら部署や仕事内容変えたり、転職したりするのが本人にとっても長期的には幸せだと思う。理想論のゴリマッチョ思想だけどね。
私は2児子育て中の40代ワーママで、むしろ周りの子なしの生産性が低すぎてイライラすることもあるし、過剰な配慮反対派なので、↑くらいはやってもバチは当たらないと思ってる。

40代地方在住独身。ぱっとしない生活が一変した話をどこかに吐き出したくて書く。
いわゆるロスジェネ世代なので就職は苦労したが、都会で働いてからUターンして、ちょっとした専門分野で奮闘してなんとか生き延びている。裕福ではないがまあ生活に困ることはない。
田舎暮らしは嫌いでもないが、若い頃から文化的な面が乏しいのには辟易していた。その反動で都会にいた頃はライブやイベント、美術館などにもよく通ったが、地元に戻ってからは同世代と話題が合わないことにやっぱり困った。もう諦めたけど。
周囲はギャンブル（パチンコ）とか、女性のいる店の話ばかりの人が多い。そういうのが趣味じゃないので、仕事以外はせいぜい家で映画見るかゲームしてるか、くらいの日々だった。
漫画はもともと少し読む習慣があった。といっても最近はアプリで無料作品を中心に物色するくらい。
勧められて「よふかしのうた」という作品を読んでみた。なかなか面白い。世界観が趣味に合った。ぱっとしない日々にどこか嫌気が差していた自分を、日常から逃れて夜を彷徨うストーリーに重ねたのかもしれない。
アニメはほとんど見ないのだが、この作品がアニメ化されていることを知って、興味本位で見はじめてみた。
考えてみれば、もともと「好きな声」というのはあった。声が好きで聞いていたラジオ番組もある。好きなバンドとかミュージシャンも、声の方向性が似ている。
このアニメの主人公の女性の声が、妙に引っかかった。漫画を読んでいたとき脳内で再生されていた声とも近かったし、たぶん元来好きな声に近かったのだと思う。
これまで気にしたこともなかった、アニメのキャスト欄を見てみた。
初めて見る名前。声優といえば大山のぶ代さんと野沢雅子さんくらいしかまともに知らなかったのだから当然だ。読み方すらもわからなかった。
別の日、なんとなくYouTubeで流れてきたTHE FIRST TAKEを見ていた。地方でカルチャーに飢えている音楽好き中年にとってYouTubeは貴重な情報源だ。
さすがに若者には知らないミュージシャンも増えてきているのだが、同年代と比較するとまあまあ幅広く聴いている方だとは思う。
アーティストとして歌う女性の声と、アニメのあの声が一致するまでには、少し時間がかかった。
しかしそうだとわかると、この歌声にもぐっと引き込まれた。オリジナル曲らしいが、当然知らない曲だった。
こうなると調べずには居られない性格で、いろいろ検索してみた。声優歴が約10年、早くからアーティスト活動も行っていて、ライブなどもやっているようだ。
公式YouTubeチャンネルをすべて見た。MVやライブ映像。声に惹かれたのだな、という認識で見ていたが、彼女の表現の幅の広さや人柄を感じるたびに不思議と引き込まれていった。
YouTubeには別の企画チャンネルというのがあった。こちらはその名の通り、ゲームしたり料理したり、様々な企画をやっているだけで歌や演技が見られるわけではない。
作りとしてはよくあるYouTuberのチャンネルと同じようなものなのだろうが、これがもう、ダメだった。ただただリアクションしている彼女の姿を見たくて声を聞きたくて、何度もリピートして見てしまう。
端正な見た目とは裏腹に、面倒くさがりだったり大雑把だったり、時に負けず嫌いや努力家の部分が顔を見せることがあり、その全てが魅力的に見えた。
幸か不幸か、お金のかかる趣味も特になく、リリース済みの彼女の作品で購入できるものは一斉に大人買いした。
アニメなど全く見てこなかったのに、気がつくと過去の出演作に遡ってひとつずつ追いかけている。
今季の作品では「スパイ教室」が楽しみで、リピートして見ている。
「久保さん」はやっと登場したと思ったら制作が延期になってしまった。4月からの再スタートを心待ちにしている。

BeatFitといういわゆるフィットネスアプリがある。ちょっと前に、このアプリのトレーナー音声を彼女が担当するという企画があったらしい。
間に合わなかったことを悔やんでいたら、よく調べるとこの音声が好評で、パッケージとしてリリースされていた。これも販売終了してしまっていたが、某フリマアプリで入手した。
本当に自分でも生活が変わりすぎてキモいと思うのだが、運動をはじめた。それでなくても、ラジオ番組や過去の楽曲などを何度も聴いてしまうので、どうせなら聴きながらジョギングしてみようと思ったのだ。
1ヶ月ほどだが、体調がすこぶるいい。中年になって弛んだ身体の体重も少しずつ落ち始めた。
アニメ作品の関連で、パチンコ音声にもなっているらしいというのを見て、生まれて初めてパチンコ屋に行ってみた。が、これは駄目だった。
そもそもアニメ作品のパチンコ台は提供されている時期が限られているらしい。それよりも何よりも、あんな騒々しい環境では彼女の声を楽しめるはずがない。
軍資金に備えていたお金で、ちょっとした高級イヤフォンを買った。これでアニメも歌もYouTubeもより楽しめる。
気がついたら、仕事をしている時間以外は、ほぼ彼女の作品に触れて過ごしている。
コロナが少し落ち着いてぼちぼち増えてきた飲みの誘いを断り、家にこもってPCの前に座り、アニメやYouTubeを見ている自分を客観的に考えると、いったいどうしてしまったのかと思う。
しかしその時間を確保するために仕事も全力でこなすようになった。もともと必死で生き延びようとしてきた仕事なので、気合が入った結果、不思議と少しずつ仕事上の成果も出始めている。
先日、Anime Japan というイベントがあったらしい。
新作アニメのプロモーションなどが中心の企画で、これまでなら全く興味を持つことがなかったと思う。
仕事で行けるはずもない日程だったのだが、彼女がいくつかのステージに出演していたと聞いて心がざわつくのを感じた。
遠征費用くらいなんてことはないし、前もって調整すれば東京や大阪まで遠征することも不可能ではない。
映像作品の中の彼女を、実際に見て生の声を聴いたらいったいどうなってしまうのだろう。もう、帰ってこられないような気がしている。
こちとら田舎暮らしで、周囲の同世代には同じような趣味を持つ人がいる気がしない。
自分でも全くよくわからない感情なのだが、とにかく努力して前向きに日々を過ごさねば、と思うようになった。仕事もそこそこの成果を出し、いつでも使いたいものにお金と時間を使えるように。
先日のラジオで、彼女は「日曜の朝はカフェなどで早朝から勉強している」というようなことを言っていた。本当に馬鹿なのだが、感化されて日曜朝を勉強の時間に充てることに決めた。新しい資格を取ろうと思っている。
これが推し活というやつなのだろうか。40代でこんな生活をしていて、これからどうなってしまうのだろう。

彼女の年齢を考えても充分に有り得る話だと思うし、もしそうなったら、と想像してみたけど、素直に嬉しいと思う。
増田は一回りも歳の離れたおっさんなので、これまで恋愛経験という意味では失敗もたくさんしてきたし、彼女に対してはそういう感じじゃない。
本人がそれを望んで結婚するのなら、私生活が充実してさらに表現の幅が広がるといいな。もし、報告にあたり配信とかあったとしたら、思い切ったスパチャを送ってるのが俺です。
結婚を機に、でもそうでなくても、活動休止とか引退とかなら、ちょっとショックを受けるかもしれない。
そういう視点は今までなかったので新鮮だった。たしかに、出演作が限られている声優さんだったら、いろいろと辛かったかもしれない。そういう意味では、これからも活躍して欲しい。
全般的に、いいことじゃん！みたいな声が多かったのはなんか嬉しかった。
昔、バンドとかミュージシャン系のファンだったときにはけっこうファンコミュニティの中にアンチもたくさんいて殺伐としてた記憶がある。それに対して、彼女のファンはみんなコメントが優しい、というか声優コミュニティの人がみんな優しい世界な気がしている。この世界を知れただけでもよかった。
パチンコとか女性のお店についても、ちょっと誤解があったらいけないので。
カルチャーにはいいも悪いもなくて、for meかnot for me のどちらかなんだと思う。楽しめているなら、他人が好きなものを下げる必要はないよね。そういうふうに読めたなら文章力の無さのせいです。あくまで自分はこれが好き、っていうことを言いたいだけなので他意はないです。
ほんとにありがとう。他の声優さんという意味では、天さんに近いところからTrySailのおふたりとか、交友関係が深そうな水瀬いのりさんとか、高橋李依さんとかはなんとなく目に（耳に）触れるようになってきています。知らない世界を知ってゆくだけで楽しい。
ライブもそのうち参戦するんだと思う。のめり込みすぎて心配、という声もごもっともなので、ほどほどに楽しめるようにします。
アイドルマスターミリオンライブ？は全くまだ手つかず。ライブが配信でも見られるという情報があったので調べてみる。

I spent 3 weeks in Thailand last November then went to Japan straight after and it was a massive relief. Thailand is nice but the country just feels like it's catered completely to tourists so I never felt that nice culture shock buzz, plus people just bark at you left right and centre trying to take your money 24/7. Japan is a bit harder to travel around if you don't speak Japanese and it feels a bit harder to make friends but it's just a lot calmer, respectful and there's interesting places and history to experience as opposed to just getting smashed at bars and lounging on a beach everyday

The Sacrament—and the Sacrifice
Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles
I pray for your faith and prayers that my utterances will be received and understood “by the Spirit of truth” and that my expressions will be given “by the Spirit of truth” so that we might all be “edified and rejoice together.” (See D&C 50:21–22.)
As I stand here today—a well man—words of gratitude and acknowledgment of divine intervention are so very inadequate in expressing the feelings in my soul.
Six months ago at the April general conference, I was excused from speaking as I was convalescing from a serious operation. My life has been spared, and I now have the pleasant opportunity of acknowledging the blessings, comfort, and ready aid of my Brethren in the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, and other wonderful associates and friends to whom I owe so much and who surrounded my dear wife, Ruby, and my family with their time, attention, and prayers. For the inspired doctors and thoughtful nurses I express my deepest gratitude, and for the thoughtful letters and messages of faith and hope received from many places in the world, many expressing, “You have been in our prayers” or “We have been asking our Heavenly Father to spare your life.” Your prayers and mine, thankfully, have been answered.
One unusual card caused me to ponder upon the majesty of it all. It is an original painting by Arta Romney Ballif of the heavens at night with its myriad golden stars. Her caption, taken from Psalms, reads:
“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
“… His understanding is infinite.” (Ps. 147:1, 3–5.)
As I lay in the hospital bed, I meditated on all that had happened to me and studied the contemplative painting by President Marion G. Romney’s sister and the lines from Psalms: “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” I was then—and continue to be—awed by the goodness and majesty of the Creator, who knows not only the names of the stars but knows your name and my name—each of us as His sons and daughters.
“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? …
“For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.” (Ps. 8:3–5.)
To be remembered is a wonderful thing.
The evening of my health crisis, I knew something very serious had happened to me. Events happened so swiftly—the pain striking with such intensity, my dear Ruby phoning the doctor and our family, and I on my knees leaning over the bathtub for support and some comfort and hoped relief from the pain. I was pleading to my Heavenly Father to spare my life a while longer to give me a little more time to do His work, if it was His will.
While still praying, I began to lose consciousness. The siren of the paramedic truck was the last that I remembered before unconsciousness overtook me, which would last for the next several days.
The terrible pain and commotion of people ceased. I was now in a calm, peaceful setting; all was serene and quiet. I was conscious of two persons in the distance on a hillside, one standing on a higher level than the other. Detailed features were not discernible. The person on the higher level was pointing to something I could not see.
I heard no voices but was conscious of being in a holy presence and atmosphere. During the hours and days that followed, there was impressed again and again upon my mind the eternal mission and exalted position of the Son of Man. I witness to you that He is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, Savior to all, Redeemer of all mankind, Bestower of infinite love, mercy, and forgiveness, the Light and Life of the world. I knew this truth before—I had never doubted nor wondered. But now I knew, because of the impressions of the Spirit upon my heart and soul, these divine truths in a most unusual way.
I was shown a panoramic view of His earthly ministry: His baptism, His teaching, His healing the sick and lame, the mock trial, His crucifixion, His resurrection and ascension. There followed scenes of His earthly ministry to my mind in impressive detail, confirming scriptural eyewitness accounts. I was being taught, and the eyes of my understanding were opened by the Holy Spirit of God so as to behold many things.
The first scene was of the Savior and His Apostles in the upper chamber on the eve of His betrayal. Following the Passover supper, He instructed and prepared the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper for His dearest friends as a remembrance of His coming sacrifice. It was so impressively portrayed to me—the overwhelming love of the Savior for each. I witnessed His thoughtful concern for significant details—the washing of the dusty feet of each Apostle, His breaking and blessing of the loaf of dark bread and blessing of the wine, then His dreadful disclosure that one would betray Him.
He explained Judas’s departure and told the others of the events soon to take place.
Then followed the Savior’s solemn discourse when He said to the Eleven: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33.)
Our Savior prayed to His Father and acknowledged the Father as the source of His authority and power—even to the extending of eternal life to all who are worthy.
He prayed, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
Jesus then reverently added:
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” (John 17:3–5.)
He pled not only for the disciples called out from the world who had been true to their testimony of Him, “but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.” (John 17:20.)
When they had sung a hymn, Jesus and the Eleven went out to the Mount of Olives. There, in the garden, in some manner beyond our comprehension, the Savior took upon Himself the burden of the sins of mankind from Adam to the end of the world. His agony in the garden, Luke tells us, was so intense “his sweat was as … great drops of blood falling … to the ground.” (Luke 22:44.) He suffered an agony and a burden the like of which no human person would be able to bear. In that hour of anguish our Savior overcame all the power of Satan.
The glorified Lord revealed to Joseph Smith this admonition to all mankind:
“Therefore I command you to repent …
“For … I, God, … suffered … for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; …
“Which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, …
“Wherefore, I command you again to repent, lest I humble you with my almighty power; and that you confess your sins, lest you suffer these punishments.” (D&C 19:15–16, 18, 20.)
During those days of unconsciousness I was given, by the gift and power of the Holy Ghost, a more perfect knowledge of His mission. I was also given a more complete understanding of what it means to exercise, in His name, the authority to unlock the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven for the salvation of all who are faithful. My soul was taught over and over again the events of the betrayal, the mock trial, the scourging of the flesh of even one of the Godhead. I witnessed His struggling up the hill in His weakened condition carrying the cross and His being stretched upon it as it lay on the ground, that the crude spikes could be driven with a mallet into His hands and wrists and feet to secure His body as it hung on the cross for public display.
Crucifixion—the horrible and painful death which He suffered—was chosen from the beginning. By that excruciating death, He descended below all things, as is recorded, that through His resurrection He would ascend above all things. (See D&C 88:6.)
Jesus Christ died in the literal sense in which we will all die. His body lay in the tomb. The immortal spirit of Jesus, chosen as the Savior of mankind, went to those myriads of spirits who had departed mortal life with varying degrees of righteousness to God’s laws. He taught them the “glorious tidings of redemption from the bondage of death, and of possible salvation, … [which was] part of [our] Savior’s foreappointed and unique service to the human family.” (James E. Talmage, Jesus the Christ, Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1977, p. 671.)
I cannot begin to convey to you the deep impact that these scenes have confirmed upon my soul. I sense their eternal meaning and realize that “nothing in the entire plan of salvation compares in any way in importance with that most transcendent of all events, the atoning sacrifice of our Lord. It is the most important single thing that has ever occurred in the entire history of created things; it is the rock foundation upon which the gospel and all other things rest,” as has been declared. (Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1966, p. 60.)
Father Lehi taught his son Jacob and us today:
“Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth.
“Behold, he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered.
“Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise.
“Wherefore, he is the firstfruits unto God, inasmuch as he shall make intercession for all the children of men; and they that believe in him shall be saved.” (2 Ne. 2:6–9.)
Our most valuable worship experience in the sacrament meeting is the sacred ordinance of the sacrament, for it provides the opportunity to focus our minds and hearts upon the Savior and His sacrifice.
The Apostle Paul warned the early Saints against eating this bread and drinking this cup of the Lord unworthily. (See 1 Cor. 11:27–30.)
Our Savior Himself instructed the Nephites, “Whoso eateth and drinketh my flesh and blood unworthily [brings] damnation to his soul.” (3 Ne. 18:29.)
Worthy partakers of the sacrament are in harmony with the Lord and put themselves under covenant with Him to always remember His sacrifice for the sins of the world, to take upon them the name of Christ and to always remember Him, and to keep His commandments. The Savior covenants that we who do so shall have His spirit to be with us and that, if faithful to the end, we may inherit eternal life.
Our Lord revealed to Joseph Smith that “there is no gift greater than the gift of salvation,” which plan includes the ordinance of the sacrament as a continuous reminder of the Savior’s atoning sacrifice. He gave instructions that “it is expedient that the church meet together often to partake of bread and wine in the remembrance of the Lord Jesus.” (D&C 6:13; D&C 20:75.)
Immortality comes to us all as a free gift by the grace of God alone, without works of righteousness. Eternal life, however, is the reward for obedience to the laws and ordinances of His gospel.
I testify to all of you that our Heavenly Father does answer our righteous pleadings. The added knowledge which has come to me has made a great impact upon my life. The gift of the Holy Ghost is a priceless possession and opens the door to our ongoing knowledge of God and eternal joy. Of this I bear witness, in the holy name of Jesus Christ, amen.

id:korin 2年前の段階では見た目はだいぶ違うけれどexmentよりもPleasanterのほうがwebデータベースとしてはこなれていたと思う。だいぶ変わっていてもおかしくないので再評価が必要かもと思った。
PleasanterもDockerで試したのですが、UI/UXが今ひとつで、デフォルトはただのスプレッドシート画面で「このあとユーザーはどうしたらええんや…」感がありました。C#でできてるってのも、カスタマイズ考えた時にちょっとハードル高かったですね。（個人的な理由ですが）その点Exmentの方がUIがまだ分かりやすかったのと、LAMP（Laravel）だったので、カスタマイズしやすいし、他人に投げるにしてもコスト的単価が低そうだな、という印象から軍配を上げております。

OwnCloudはしょっちゅうバージョン戻ったりしてて使い物にならなかった。Synology縛りだがCloudStationはDropbox並に使える。／こういうの、惹かれるけど自分でメンテしたりあの機能が無いとかあって結局回帰したりする…
自分はNextCloudから入ってるので、ownCloudのその問題は知らなかった。
他の人も言ってるけど、結局ここで紹介したのは、自分でマネジメントできるか、それができないならSaaSに乗っかるかの２者択一トレードオフなので、こればっかりはなんともだよね。

そうそう、NextCloudは、最近だとカレンダー機能とかカンバンとか、ファイル共有以外の機能も充実してるよね。そういう意味では、Google Workspaceの代替狙ってるのかも（完全代替は現時点では無理そうだが。）

Rocket.chatやMattermostにも似た機能あるのは把握してたんだけど、IntercomやZendesk大体となると、問い合わせに回答する側の機能も重視されるので、そこの機能があるかどうか把握しておらず、触れてなかった。
つまり、チャットによる問い合わせに対して、複数の担当者が対応できるような仕組みね。ChatwootやPapercupsはこれに対応している。
まさに。うちの関与先がMattermost導入したのも、その理由からだから。

とはいえ、これらも今はSaaSサービスが結構あるので、そっちでニーズ満たせることも増えたかな。

気持ちはわかるが、だったらこれがDropboxだったら絶対ないかっていうとそういう保証もないわけで。
これについては、Saas/Self-hostの違い抜きにして、各種サービス比較して、自分が信頼置けるやつ使うしかないんじゃないかな。

その発想はなかった。はてブに相当するグローバルレベルのサービスというと、既に無くなったDeliciousとかを想像するんだけど、それのOSSとなるとRaindrop.ioってのがあるんだが、画面見た感じ、はてブとはだいぶイメージ違うんだよね… 日本独特なのかも。

自分も昔はデザイナー出身だったんでサーバーとかわけわからん怖い、ってなってたけど、
ローカルでNode.js/npm使うために黒い画面使い出したあたりから、徐々に勉強していって、
余ってるMac miniにUbuntu入れたり、AWS Lightsailでお試ししてみたりしてたら、なんか触れるようになってました。
とはいえ、クライアントワークではまだ不安あったりするので、詳しい人や詳しい会社にサポートしてもらうこともあるけど。
まずは自分用途ならリスクヘッジできると思うので、やれる範囲から試してみたらいいのでは。

昔は、MOONGIFTってサイトを定期的にみてたんだけど、既に終了しちゃったのね。
で、似たような感じで紹介しているのが、はてなブログのpaiza開発日記の、まさとらんさんの記事。
あとは、気になったSaaSがあったら、OSS代替がないか逐一調べる感じ。
たとえば、Slackの代替がないかと思ったら「Slack OSS alternative」でググる。
Gmail代替をkwskというと、Mailuの使い方を詳しくって感じかな？
Mailuは一応Gmail代替できるけど、メールの設定が人によってはちょっとハードル高いかもしれないのと、
機能的にはGmailの基本機能ぐらいしかないので、高度な使い方では代替にならないかもね。
Mailu以外だと、最近見かけたposte.ioかな。まだ試せてないので、なんともいえない。
