ワイのnoteに対する印象
なんか blog を書こうかなって思った時、一番良いのは、note なんだそう
ある増田いわく、『流行りのプラットフォームなので人がいっぱい居てソーシャル機能が働く』のだとか
増田 (はてな匿名ダイアリー) の特性を活かして、嘘偽りの無い正直な気持ちを言わせて貰うなら、
・・・って感じ。3 に当て嵌まらないすべての人はべつに増田 (はてな匿名ダイアリー) でよくないですかね？
もしも、実名および半実名でコンテンツを発信する必要があるなら、Medium がいいね。日本語だけで閉じてないからだ
勝手に更に補足。
書体には同じデザイン「ファミリ」という概念（この場合の「游ゴシック体」）があって、同じファミリの中で太さ違いや斜体などのバリエーションがある。
で、コンピュータフォントもそういう設計にしているのだけど、Windowsの多くのソフトは同じファミリの中から「標準」「太字」「斜体」「太字斜体」の4つしか選べない（大昔から引きずっている仕様）。
よって、それ以上のバリエーションを作りたい場合は、ファミリ名自体を「游ゴシック体 Light」「游ゴシック体 Regular」「游ゴシック体 Medium」みたいにして使えるようにするしかない。
のだけど、それだと不便（本来使えるはずの太字ボタンとかの意味が無くなる）なので、一番普通な標準と太字のペアであるRegularとBold（同語反復的だけど）を特別に「「游ゴシック体」というファミリにして、そこだけは太字ボタンで切り替えられるようにしてある。
游ゴシックRegularが普段使いには細いというのは同感だけれど、印刷の本文を組む前提の太さ表記（本来游ゴシックは印刷向け）なので仕方ないかなと思う。
（でもパワポでいつもMediumとBoldの組を使ってるのでほんとめんどい……）
なお、同じフォントファミリでも、多ウェイトが扱えるソフト（Adobe製品とか）では全ての太さが一つのファミリとして見えたりする（小塚フォントとか。游ゴシックもたぶんそうだけど確かめていない）。
これは、多ウエイトが扱えるソフト向けに「ファミリ」とは別に「優先ファミリ」というのが指定できるようになっているため。

わかりづらいとかキョトーンな人が散見されたので、蛇足とは思うけど解説をこころみる。
正直なところ説明として元ツイがいちばんシンプルだと私は思うので、この解説は元ツイが言ってることを別の言い回しで回りくどく言い換えるだけになる。つまり逆にわかりにくいかもしれない。
なお私は発端のツイートのひとではない。善意のいちハテナーである。
さらに言えば私は組版の専門家でもない。仕事で多少フォントを扱う機会がある程度の素人＋毛である。
まず、コンピューターの画面に映し出される「太字」には２種類ある。
ひとつは、最初から太字としてデザインされた書体。いわばネイティブ太字。
フォントの名前のお尻にBold とかBlackとか、BとかEBとかDBとかくっついてるのがそれ。
ここではこれを便宜的に「真Bold」と呼ぶ。
もうひとつは、もともと太字ではないフォントをワードやパワポが表示上の工夫で太く見せているだけの太字。
同じ字を少しずらして重ねたり、輪郭を太らせたりして、その場で機械的に修飾して太く見せている。
これが元ツイの言う「偽Bold」。
真Boldと偽Boldを比較すると、これはもう圧倒的に真Boldのほうが美しい。
真Boldは人間がバランス良く調整してデザインしているので、議とか鬱みたいに字画が混み合う字でも線が重なったり窓がつぶれたりしない。
同じ名前でウエイト（＝太さ）の異なる書体を比べてみると、パッと見は太さが違うだけのようだけれど、よく見ると実は線の通り道が少しずつ変えてあって、太さが違っても同じスペースの中にぴっちり収まっている。スペースが同じなのだから、線が太くなればなるほど、線の「芯」は全体として少し内側を通らなければいけない、という理屈はわかってもらえると思う。

いっぽう偽Boldは、もともと第三者の手で機械的に太らされることを考慮していないので、強引に太らせると線が重なったり窓が埋まったりして潰れる。つまり見栄えが悪い。
偽Boldを使わないこと、これに尽きる。
元ツイは游ゴシックで偽Boldが使われてしまう条件を例示している。
「游ゴシック Light」と「游ゴシック Medium」、このふたつは文字列を選択して Ctrl+B などで太字化すると偽Boldになる。
無印の「游ゴシック」（実体は游ゴシック Regular）は、 Ctrl+B などで太字化するとそこだけ「游ゴシック Bold」（つまり真Bold）に切り替わる。太字のところだけ違う書体が使われるのである。
ワードやパワポで真Boldと対になっている普通の太さの字は無印游ゴシック（＝游ゴシック Regular）なのだけれど、この書体、本文（太くない普通の字）として使うにはいささかウエイトが軽すぎて読みにくいのである。Webページで使うとカスレたりして嫌われている。
元ツイの言うように「游ゴシック Medium」と「游ゴシック Bold」の組み合わせがもっとも体裁がいい。と思う。
ワードやパワポは書式の定義で見出しに「游ゴシック Bold」、本文に「游ゴシック Medium」を指定しておくことができる。
でも、たとえばこのように文中に太字強調を混ぜたい時がめんどくさい。Mediumを Ctrl + B で太字にすると偽Boldになってしまうからだ。太字にしたいところだけいちいち「游ゴシック Bold」を選んだり、無印游ゴシックを選んで Ctrl + B する必要がある。どうにかならんもんか。
游ゴシック Bold は、90%の平体をかけると俺たち昭和のおっさんが慣れ親しんだ写研の石井太ゴシックそっくりになる。
同人誌の表紙などで昭和テイストを出したい時に試してみるといいよ。字詰めは広め、カタカナの字詰めは一文字ずつしっかり整えると石井感が出ます。

パワポに長々した文章を書くことはあまりないと思うけど、それでも2～3行以上の文を載せる時は「行間隔」にちょっとこだわるだけで飛躍的に見栄えが良くなります。
ツールバーで選べる行間隔には「1.0」、「1.5」、「2.0」、「2.5」…と誰が使うんだバカというようなプリセット値が並んでいるけれどこいつらは無視して、「行間隔のオプション」から「1.25」や「1.33」といった日本語を割り付けるのにイイ感じの固定値を入力しましょう。
※追記。すみません。ここがそんなに注目されると思ってなくて雑に書きましたが、1.25とか1.33とかは、私が行間隔を設定するときによく使う数字の例で、特に根拠はありません（それぞれ1/4行、1/3行）。
同じ1.25でもフォントによって空き具合の印象が異なるので（フォントの背の高さは様々だから）、一概に「和文フォントならズバリこの数値がよい」というのは決められないのです。文章量やレイアウトにもよりますし。
要は、具合を見ながら行間隔を任意に手入力することもできるよ、というアドバイスです。

初めて骨伝導イヤホンを買った。通常のイヤホンは耳に入れて空気を震わせて鼓膜に音を伝えるが、この骨伝導イヤホンはその名の通り、骨を震わせることで音を伝える。グラスに対して大声で叫べば中の水を震わせることができる反面、グラスの縁を滑らせれば中の水を震わせることができる、というのが分かりやすい例えだろうか。
骨伝導イヤホンの一番の利点は耳を塞がずに音楽を聴くことができる点だろう。音楽を垂れ流したいが、カナルイヤホンを長時間耳の中に入れるのは耳の負担になるしジメジメと気持ち悪くなってくる。かつ近隣への騒音になるためにスピーカーを使えない人といった人にオススメできるだろう。耳を塞がないことで周囲の環境音に注意を払うことができるので、（あまり推奨されているとは言えないが）自転車に乗るときだったりオフィスで音楽も聴きたいけど周囲にも気を払いたいという場合に使える。
逆に耳を塞がないことのデメリットもある。カナルイヤホンは耳を塞いで聴くため外部の音を取り込まない。そのため周囲が騒音になってもある程度は快適に音楽を聴くことができる。反面骨伝導イヤホンは周囲の音が耳に入ってしまうために音楽を聴き取ることが困難になる。音量を上げなくてはいけない。居酒屋で友人と話しているときに周囲がうるさすぎて会話が困難になるようなものだ。カナルイヤホンの場合は個室みたいなものだろうか。骨伝導イヤホンをしつつ耳栓を使うという選択はある。音楽は支障なく聴け、むしろ耳栓をした方が音質はよさげ。
今回買った骨伝導イヤホンは AfterShokz という会社の OpenMove という製品。同社の Aeropex が結構良い評判だったものの2万円ぐらいと少し私には高価だったので、安価なものが出ないかとうかがっていたら新製品で安価な OpenMove という製品が出ていたのだ。OpenMove は QCC3024 という昨今の True Wireless なイヤホンに使われている省電力なメジャーなチップが使われていて、かつ USB Type-C 充電で Aeropex の技術を活用した製品となっており1万円弱という安価な価格設定となっている。
骨伝導イヤホンが欲しいなと思いつつも一度も試用さえしたことがなかった私はある日の散歩でロフトに行った。そこにあったのは Cheero （モバイルバッテリーで有名な日本の会社）が最近発売した Touch Bone という Cheero 初の骨伝導イヤホンだった。これも気になっていた製品で、OpenMove よりも安価で6000円ぐらい。人生はしめての骨伝導イヤホンはとても満足度が高かったが、これなら老舗 AfterShokz の OpenMove は私をもっと満足させてくれるだろうと思い OpenMove を購入した。Amazon よりも ヨドバシカメラとビックカメラの方が安かった。
ここから OpenMove のレビューをしていきたいと思う。簡単なレビューはメディアにいくつかあるのでそれを参考にしてもらい、私は個人的に気になった細かいところをみていきたい。
だけど個人的には不満なので英語にした。英中韓日が用意されておりユーザーが自由に設定できる。
「スタンダードモード」「ボーカルモード」「イヤプラグモード」の3種類のイコライザーが用意されており、イコライザーのせいで音にノイズが乗ったりすることはない。結構音が変わるのでこれはこれで音楽を楽しめるくらい良いが個人的にはスタンダードモード一択な感じ。ポッドキャストもスタンダードモードで聴いている。音は普段イヤホンで聴いている音楽が耳に装着していないのに頭に直接直接流れている感じで不思議な感じ。バンドの締め付けが気なる人もいると思うけど私は意識するほど骨伝導イヤホンの装着感を感じない。
骨伝導イヤホンの性質上仕方がないが、外部環境によって音が聞こえなくなりやすい。耳栓をすると解決できる。耳栓をせずに外部環境の騒音レベルによって自動でいくらかボリュームが上下してくれたら嬉しいなと思う。
ウレタンの耳栓が付属していて、これを潰して耳にぶち込むとしばらくしたら膨張してもとに戻り耳を違和感なく塞いでくれる。耳栓を初めて使ったけど耳栓っていいね。
スペックシートでは6時間以上とされている。QCC3024 のイヤホンはもっぱらこの6時間が連続再生可能時間な気がする。OpenMove は一度満充電にして朝から再生し続けいるが、これを執筆している現在、6時間は音楽を再生している。OpenMove 本体のバッテリー残量は Medium だそうだ。
OpenMove というか骨伝導イヤホンはもっぱらバンド型なので耳から後頭部を一周する構造になっている。寝転びながら使用するとどこかしらが枕に干渉してしまい骨伝導イヤホンの位置がずれてしまい体験が悪くなってしまう。解決方法はバンドを音の出力されるこめかみの位置を極として180度回転させる。傍からみれば可笑しい格好になるが気にする人は家の中にいないだろう。これは個人的におすすめな解決方法だが、要は音を聴くために音を通す骨を音の出力の接点に持ってくればいいのだ。こめかみ以外に耳の裏とか歯も有効だ。歯はジョークだけど音は本当に聴こえるので面白い。口の中に入れ歯みたいに装着できるBlue "Tooth" な再生機器があれば欲しいなぁ。ちょっと調べたら難聴方面で研究されているとか？まぁ衛生的な問題もあるよね。
バンドじゃなくて左右独立な骨伝導イヤホンとかいいなーって思うけど現状で満足できそうな製品はなさそう。
使い始めてまだ一日ほどだがとても満足度が高い。金があるならもう一つ欲しい。このクオリティにまで成熟したのは最近かもしれないけどもっと早くから知っておけばよかったと思う。音質をそこまで追求しないのならば Bluetooth なカナルイヤホンは辞めて骨伝導イヤホン一筋でもいいかもしれない。マストバイ。

まぁ、適当極まりない根無し草は少数派だとしても、フツーに不特定多数に見られる事によるプライバシーの懸念の自体はあると思うんですよね

もちろん、Medium にも 感動コンテンツや共感だけコンテンツも無くは無いけど、
一時のはてなブログブームは手軽にアフィリエイトができるという触れ込みが大きく作用していた。
だからはてなブログがクリエイター（ライター）に支持された時期があったどうかについて疑問がある。ぱっと見は簡素であるものの、変なところがごてごてでもっさりしていて取り回しの悪いあのサービスを気軽に使ってみようと思う人はそんないないのでは？
ブログで情報発信という発想自体がWeb2.0時代ぽく古臭い。本気でライティングをやりたいのならオウンドメディアへ寄稿するし、そこまでのモチベーションがない大多数はnoteやTwitterにささっと投稿して終わる。
アメーバやはてブロのような個々のユーザに重点を置き、プラットフォームとしてコンテンツの流動性が低い旧態依然のブログサービスにもはや魅力なんてない。
noteやmediumはユーザの垣根を横断してコンテンツを閲覧できる。また画一的なデザインがフラットな視座を閲覧者に与えることを助けている。つまり逆に言えばnoteユーザであれば不特定多数の目に晒されそれだけ注目される機会があるということだ。
そしてnoteはそのプレーンなデザインゆえに利用者も雑記的位置づけで適当に書き散らしてもいいようなハードルの低さがある。メイン活動の片手間に議事録やネタ帳としてつかっている人も多いだろう。
はてブロはnoteに比べプラットフォームとしての力は弱い。ブログスペースをユーザに貸し出すだけで、ユーザがコンテンツの注目を集めるためにはTwitterやはてブ等外部でのバズが必要だ。閲覧者もそのページを読むときにそれがはてなブログかどうかなんて別段気にしていない。アメーバだろうがライブドアだろうがどうでもいいというのが今現在の一般的な感覚だろう。
そのくせ自分の城とするにははてブロは不自由だ。はてブロユーザだけを意識した利点のない上部バーと目障りな広告。なぜかprevがないページャ。だらしなく下に伸びるアーカイブモジュールに、妙なシンプルさが却って見づらい注目記事/最新記事モジュール。デフォルトだとどうでもいい情報をでかく記載してくるアバウトページ…pro会員になってこういうところをちまちま直すなら、tumblrを使ったりWordPressを導入した方が手っ取り早くてデザインもすっきりしたものができる。
気軽に書くにはハードで本気でメディアを作るには不自由で取り回しが悪いサービスというのがはてブロであり、そんなサービスを盛んに活用するクリエイターはもはや殆どいないのではないか？
話は変わるがクリエイターと呼べる水準にいない奴が幅きかせて嫌われたのが互助会騒動だった。
カレールーと残り物で作ったカレーで1200円とる店が乱立し、しかも呼び込みがしつこくてうざかったみたいな。悪いことしてないかもしれないけどそりゃ嫌われるわな。

Twitterなら連投すればいいという意見はあるだろうけど、あれはほとんどの人が最初のツイートしか見ないので議論にならない。
なんかいい感じの、最低文字数制限があるような議論プラットフォームがあればいいのかもしれないが、流行る気がしない。多分古き良きブログがなんだかんだ一番まともなんだろう。アメリカだとMediumとかまさにその意図だったはず。
