Floorp ウェブブラウザと名乗るブラウザが最近出てきて、開発が終了したKinzaのパッチが公開されたら取り入れると宣言してKinzaの後釜を狙ってるらしい。中の人は学生(中学生？高校生？)らしく、使っていくうちにチャラさ、痛々しさが目立ってきたのでこき下ろしていきたい。
このブラウザが気になってしょうがない人はTwitterアカウントに行けばダウンロードリンクがあるのでダウンロードして確かめればよい。

利用規約をなんだと思っているんだ。「利用規約は楽しく、ユーモアにありふれさせたい」とか「Floorpの利用規約の最後に・彼女になることに同意しますか？って書けば同意させられんじゃん」とかつぶやいてる時点でなめてるしふざけてる。
Ablaze-MIRAI/Floorp-Browser: Chromiumで一番軽量なブラウザの大部分のソースコードです。
というタイトルなのに、実際に公開されているのはブラウザコンポーネントに比べてかなり少ない。これのどこが「大部分」なの？
あと何の根拠もなく「Chromiumで一番軽量」って言い切ってるだけで相当痛い。一番軽量かどうかは知らんが、メモリ使用量が少ない=軽量と思い込んでる節がある。ほか、
という文は誤解を生むから今すぐ止めろ。これだとBSDライセンスに違反するぜ！と宣言してるような解釈もできるから。利用規約でOSSに感謝しましょうとか言っておいてこの扱いひどくないか？
このブラウザの自己紹介記事(https://blog.ablaze.one/573/2021-08-16/)が先週公開されていたが、ここに書かれてる内容も相当痛々しい。
ブラウザをインストールするとメモリカスタマイザーなるものが同時にインストールされる。これが動作することでFloorpブラウザのメモリ使用量が劇的に減ってるから軽い、ということらしい。
しかし、ブラウザを起動したまま放置してみてから、実際のWindowsタスクマネージャーの様子をよく見てほしい。メモリ使用量が数MBとありえないぐらいまで減っているのがわかるだろう。Windowsタスクマネージャー上ではメモリ使用量が減っているように見えるが、ブラウザのタスクマネージャーで表示されるメモリ使用量はそれほど減っていない。では何が起こっているのか？
メモリカスタマイザーの正体はFireminである。名前の通り元々はFirefox用で、仮想メモリにページアウトさせて物理メモリ使用量を減らすものらしい(実際の動作は細かく見てないのでよくは知らない)。Fireminの名称変更、起動時にFloorpを自動的に対象にするといった改造を施している。FireminによってWindows10の途中の大型アップデートから搭載されたメモリ圧縮がより積極的にかかるようになり、物理メモリ使用量も減らせるメリットはあるようだ。YouTubeのトップページを開いてしばらく待った時、メモリカスタマイザーの使用時と未使用時で約0.1GBの差はあるのは確認できた。ただし、メモリ圧縮の代償はパフォーマンスの低下。特にページアウトによりディスクI/Oが増える。ディスクI/Oが足を引っ張って重くなる場合があるので、必ずしも軽いとは言えない。
結局の所、Chromiumを改造するなどの根本的な解決策を取っているのかは疑問である(もししているならTwitterなりに書いているだろう。技術的アピールができるし)。Floorpブラウザの作者はWindowsのタスクマネージャーに出てくる見せかけの数値だけを見て「えっ、Floorp軽っ、、、、、」とか言ってるのだから、実に恥ずかしい。いつ気がつくか見物である。
500ms単位でメモリ節約機能が動作するせいで、Speedometer 2.0のベンチマーク結果がさえない。未使用時と比べて7%ぐらいスコアが落ちてる。Edgeよりもスコアが良くない。メモリ使用量のことばかり気を取られて、速度のことには関心がないのかもしれない。
Chrome Web Store外から拡張機能(Deepl翻訳と同期機能)をインストールさせるためにレジストリを使用した結果、他のChromium派生ブラウザ(SRWare Ironで確認済)でも拡張機能がインストールされたという通知が表示されるようになってしまう。
Cドライブ直下にフォルダー作ってそこに入れるとか、いつの時代のソフトだよ。Program Filesに入れてやれよ。

初期はWebアプリケーションとブラウザは不可分だったからHTMLの出力=ブラウザへのレンダリングと考えて差し支えなかったのだろう
その後ステップが分かれてHTMLの出力とブラウザのレンダリング間には直接的な関係性が無くなった(というよりはクローラのような各種サービスやスクレイピングのような二次的なデータの利用方法が生まれた)が, 語が再定義されることはなかったため、Server Side Renderingと(In browserの)レンダリングと暫定的な区別をつけられて今に至る

日本語情報だと KeepInTab ってアドオン使えってなるけど、about:config で設定できるので要らねーです。
ちなみにコンテキストメニューに「現在のページでリンクを開く」を追加するとか、修飾キーとの組み合わせクリックでリンク先を強制的に現在タブで開く方法は存在しないっぽい。
タブとかウインドウを指定されてるリンクがあったら、デフォルトの設定ではそういった動作は避けられないってことだよ。
対処方法はabout:configの設定で「すべてのリンクを強制的に現在タブで開く」設定にしつつ、別タブとか別ウインドウでリンクを開きたいときにはCtrlとかShiftとか押しながらクリックしたり、中ボタンでクリックする意外に方法はないんだ。

Youtube普段使いであるFirefoxへやっと移植できました。
フィルタ処理に難しいところはひとつもないのですが、自動再生の無効化が今ひとつうまくいかなかったのとこまごまとした不具合がなかなか落ち着かなかったのと暑かったのと。いろいろ。
なお、表示はFirefox57以上となっていますがVer55でも動いてます。明確に動かないのは52より前です(browser.storage.local.getに不具合があるため)
個人的には相当便利に使ってます。サムネでの自己主張が激しい方々や文字流すだけの虚無動画をどんどんNGしていくとストレスを感じることが少なくなりますから。ただ需要はあまりなかったようで、Chrome版ユーザー数わずか6です。リリースしてしばらくは1(わたし自身)だったのでこれでもだいぶ増えました。もうPCでYoutube観てる人ってかなりの少数派になってるのかもしれません。
はてなフィルタがChrome版ユーザー数300弱に対してFirefox版30くらいなので、こちらは1人居るか居ないかでしょうか。
Firefoxアドオンについて調べてみたところ、いつの間にかWebExtensionに対応していて、ほぼそのまま移植できそうだったので対応してみました。
ソースもmanifest.jsonもほぼそのまま使えてとても楽ちんでした。いじったのはchrome.storageをbrowser.storageに変更したのと、それにともなうAddON-IDの追加くらいです。いい時代になりましたね。
なお、表示はFirefox57以上となっていますがVer55でも動いてます。明確に動かないのは52より前です(browser.storage.local.getに不具合があるため)
Firefoxはシェアが10%を割ったということでどれくらい需要があるかはわかりませんが、Youtubeフィルタ(ユーザー数1)は超えてほしいものです。7月1日時点でChrome版が102人、6月9日時点ではてなNGが990人だったので、10～20人くらいは…
アップデートというか別アドオンになるようですが、FirefoxはAndroid版でもアドオン使えるのでそちらの対応もできたらやりたいなという気持ちはあります。

アプリは以下のようにして起動する。

このpserveというPythonモジュールでアプリ動かしたりする。
超単純なPyramidアプリを作って、WSGIのイメージをつかむ。
app.py を書き写して動かしたらHello Worldが動いた。
viewとURLの紐付けはconfig.add_routeしてconfig.add_viewする。add_viewしてからadd_routeしても大丈夫だった。
viewにはrequestが渡される。requestに色々入ってそう。
waitressは知らないけど、serveでHTTPサーバ作ってWSGIアプリを公開できるのかな？

おそらく情強の人は「なんでいまさら？」って思うだろうけど、自分はここにたどり着くまで数年かかってしまった。画面追従型広告にイライラしながらな！
自分で調べた人はわかると思うけどスマホの広告ブロック関連で検索してもろくな情報がでない。
ヒットする情報はたいてい広告ブロック機能のあるブラウザを使えだの、最後の手段Filter Proxyだの、ブラウザ以外のアプリの通信遮断ならNoRootファイアーウォールだの……。
Filter ProxyもNoRootファイアーウォールもとっくに開発が止まってるし、ブラウザ内の広告ブロック機能も最近の広告に対応していなくて役に立たない。しかもどの記事も筆頭で上げているAdblock Browserはお話にならない糞ブラウザときてる。
唯一効果的なのはアドオン機能でAdblockやuBlockがありユーザーフィルタを使えるブラウザだけど、アドオンが売りで有名なFirefoxのスマホ版は超もっさりで快適とは程遠い。
過去から現在までどの記事もほぼ同じ内容で、AdGuardやそこで使う280Blockrや豆腐フィルタなどの国内向け外部フィルタに言及した個人の記事は検索結果の下の方に埋もれてしまっている。
そんなわけでこの記事を書いた。不快な漫画広告や誤タップを誘発するクソ広告に苛つく多くの人に知って欲しいし、いまだにブロック機能付きブラウザを勧めたりChromeで広告を消す方法はないとか適当な記事を書いてる人にも知って欲しい。以下実際使用した上でのちょっとした解説です。

○AdGuardは勝手に終了されないよう、電池の最適化やメモリクリーナーアプリの対象外にしておくのがおすすめ。
○『アプリの管理』で広告ブロックするアプリを決定、右上のメニューでまとめて変更できる。広告の出るアプリ以外（カレンダーとかメールなど）は『AdGuardによる保護』のチェックを外して良い。『GooglePlay開発者サービス』など保護を外すと他のアプリをブロック出来なくなるものは警告文が表示される。また、マクドナルドアプリなど保護をオフにしないと起動しないものもある。
○有料版で使える『HTTPSフィルタリング』をオンにすればブロック精度が上がり、DNSのみでは消せない広告をブロックしたり広告跡の隙間を消したりできる。プレミアムお試し期間を使って体験してから課金を検討すると良い。
○『全てのアプリで広告をブロック』の項目はプレミアムユーザーのみ有効で、無料版はブラウザしかブロックできない。ということになっているが、実際は無料版でもDNSをオンにしてあればどのアプリの広告もほぼブロックできる。
○仕様上テザリングと同時に使えないため、親機になるときは自動でオフになる。子機として使うときはオンのままでOK。Bluetoothテザリングの親機にするときは手動でオフにする、ワンタップで切替可能なウィジェットを活用しよう。
○定期的にセールのお知らせがあり30〜50％OFFになるので課金するのもあり。ライセンスは買い切り版と１年更新版などがあるので注意。支払いはクレジットカードやPayPalなど。
○Operaのデータ圧縮機能と同時に使えない、Chromeは使える。
○ユーザーフィルタは自動更新されない（無料版）ので、定期的にインポートを開きOKをタップして280blockerを最新版に上書きする。URLの数字は前後一ヶ月有効（202102なら2021年1月〜3月まで有効）なので、期限が切れたら新しいユーザーフィルタとDNSフィルタをインポートして古い方は削除する。

これ、ツイッターでも散々話題になってるけど、やれ「自分がされたらどう思うのか」とか「なぜ野放しになっているのか」とかね。いやいや、いい子ぶらないでくださいよwww
みんな大好きでしょ、テレビや週刊誌。これは、「ゴシップ」ですよ。
自由な市民の撮影は盗撮だの言われるのに、相手が芸能人や政治家になればプライバシーをどれだけ侵されても「そういうものだから」で憤りを覚えたりしないでしょ？週刊誌がやれば「スクープ」だって言って、ニュースとしてさも当たり前のように受け入れるでしょ？
そもそもこの構造が異常なんですよ。人権なんてない、営利目的のいじめ。有名税とかいう虚構の処刑場。
これが単に、「平等に」市民もできるようになった、っていうだけなんですね。週刊誌がやっていいなら私達もやっていいじゃん。当たり前ですよね。
一般人だからってのが問題なんですか？有名人の人権なんてないけど俺らと地続きの人間は嫌だって？

その人がコンテンツ化するかは、発行部数、視聴率、ページビュー、再生数などの、著しく民主主義的な数字によって制御されています。いやむしろ、企業によって権力が独占されていない、ネットのほうが言論が自由なことはここ読んでる時点で疑わないでしょ？
理性無く肥大化した権力となったメディアに対抗する手段として、市民一人ひとりがスマホを持って同じことができるようになるってのはすごく重要なことでしょ。
アメリカ合衆国憲法の権利章典修正第2条にも「規律ある民兵は、自由な国家の安全にとって必要であるから、人民が武器を保有し、また携帯する権利は、これを侵してはならない。」とありますしね。これは表現の自由という暴力を皆が持つことによって自由主義の存在を確立する構造なんですよ。アメリカで銃規制が不可能なのと同じ。
え？個人の自由が侵害されるって？そもそも自由主義で自由が守られるわけ無いでしょwww
ちなみに自分はネットで晒されるような行為をする予定はありません。不慮の事態でなるかもしれないって？それ、テレビや雑誌も一緒では？貴方や貴方の関係者がなにか問題に巻き込まれたとき、マスメディアの人たちは真実や貴方の個人情報の保護なんてどうでもよく利益追求のために好き勝手書くって知ってるでしょ？やってもやんなくても変わんないですよ。じゃあ貴方の隣人がやってもいいよね。

突然、宣伝インタビュー記事(https://thinkit.co.jp/article/10488)という燃料を投下してきたので、http://anond.hatelabo.jp/20160616172213に引き続きこき下ろす。
これは上記記事とあまり関係ないのだが、ホームページなどで特に目立っているので、あえて書くことにする。
メジャーなブラウザであるIE、Edge、Firefox、Chrome、Safariは国産ではない。そのせいなのか知らないが、やたらと「国産」を強調している。
しかし、国産であることのメリットはあまりない。あるとすれば、要望・バグ報告などのサポートが(製作者にとって)やりやすい、要望が通りやすいぐらいである。ただ、国産でなくても、サポート体制がしっかり整っているところは少なくなく、国産の優位性はさほどない。
エンジンは国産ではなく、ただのChromium派生ブラウザである。セキュリティ問題報告に対して報奨金制度を出して安全にすると言いたいのだろうが、国産だから安全というわけでもない。国産ブラウザは全体的に多機能・重量級な傾向にあり、それを嫌う人には全くメリットにはならない。
たったこれだけのメリットのためだけに、なぜ国産と強調することにこだわるのだろうか。
これは認識が甘い、と言わざるを得ない。というか、無理だろうと言いたい。
「ユーザーの声で進化するブラウザ」を謳うのであればサポート体制の強化が必要である。
しかし、いくらサポート体制を万全にしても、地理的に離れていることもあり文化が異なる。国が変われば求められていることも変わるが、もし特定の国を優先するならば、世界中のユーザーの声を聞くことは不可能である。無理に行うと妥協点を探すことになり、下手をすれば誰も求めていない機能が出来上がる恐れがある。ローカライズすると妥協点を探すことが多くなり、日本国内だけを相手にしていた時より困難になりそうだ。
その上、ユーザー要望で機能を揃えただけではただの器用貧乏である。ブラウザの将来性が感じられない。それでは海外では受けないのではないだろうか。
意味不明。これはつまり、将来的にはアドウェアになる、ということを遠回しに言いたいのか？(たぶん違う)
例示した「セキュリティ上問題になる危険なリンクは自動で排除する」は非常に危険。これが実現すると、一企業が恣意的に操作できるので、よほどD社への信頼がない限り不可能ではないだろうか。「中国系の外資系元社員が作ったブラウザ？」と勘ぐられているのでは道のりは長いだろう。
「特定業界の法人向けに専用ブラウザを開発していくプランもあります」というビジネスの展望があるそうだ。私企業なので、こうした利潤追求は当然である。しかし、この文脈だけだと、コンシューマー向けには具体的な話がない。似たようなスタンスであるVivaldiのような期待はしてくれるな、ということか。
マネタイズが難しく、市場的にも先細りな将来しか見えてこない(MSがやめたくてしょうがない)デスクトップアプリよりも、マネタイズのやりやすいスマホ向けに力を入れるほうがよいはずなのに、可能性を自ら捨てている。
アプリストアのリジェクトが不安だからやめたって、規約が厳しいiOSならともかく、ゆるゆるなAndroid向けをやらないのは意味不明。これでは「うちには全然技術がないから無理」と言っているようなもの。あるいは、できる人を入れる余裕がないということだろう。
先に断っておくが、元になっているChromiumは修正BSDライセンスなので、そのライセンスの条件を守っていればChromium派生ブラウザのソースコードを公開する義務はない。Google Chromeがその例である。
と回答したが、本音を言いたくなくて言い訳しているように聞こえてしまう。ブラウザを開発できる人数で公開するかどうかを判断したの？これでは開発者が多いほど外部の貢献者にバグを修正してもらえる可能性が高くなるので、バグ修正にかかる開発コストを0でやってくれることが期待できるという本音が透けているのだが。そういう本音が事実かどうかはわからないが、ほかに考えられることは、外部の貢献者が増えることで発生するであろうD社内部で決めた方針のブレを防ぎたいからとか、パクられるのが嫌とかの理由で晒したくないからとか、特に理由はないけどとりあえず言い訳しといたとか。
やはり、ブラウザの将来そのものについて具体的なことは何も書かれていなかった。ユーザーの要望に依存した受動的な開発体制だから何も出ないのではないか。こんなことで国内のシェアを増やすことができると思っているのだろうか。
Vivaldiでいいじゃん、Cent Browserでいいじゃんという人に対しては全然効果がないだろう。むしろ、墓穴を掘ったような感じである。
