――常識と観測結果とが矛盾するときは、常識を捨てなければなりません。

――ある日の夕暮れから翌朝まで、と考えて矛盾が生じるのであれば、そう考えるのをやめればいいんです。
( ・3・) いや、でも、ある日の夕暮れから翌朝までじゃないの？ ネオンの輝く見知らぬホテルに長期滞在して、数年後の朝に彼女はいなくなりました、なんていくらなんでも無理があるだろう。
――キュビズムの絵画では、ある対象を複数の視点から捉え、平面のキャンバスに再構成して描きます。

( ・3・) 時計を一種の仕掛けと見立てて、内在的に解釈するわけか。理屈は通っているかもしれないが、常識を捨てさせるには、まだ十分ではないと思うぞ。
――では、時間の流れが一律であるとは限らないという外在的な傍証を。1978年のインタヴューです。

――わざとかどうかは分かりませんが、定型から逸脱することで、聴き手の注意を喚起する効果はあると思います。
( ・3・) となると、韻を踏まないことにも意味がありうるわけだ――あれ、6行目と7行目、train と fate も韻を踏んでいないぞ。
――6行目は train ではなく freight train の freight が脚韻にあたります。
( ・3・) まず列車の概念があって、それからより具体的には貨物列車、という思考の流れではないんだな。まずフェイトという音の響きがあって、その響きが無意識の言葉の渦からフレイトをひっぱり出してくる。それから列車の概念がフレイトにくっついてやってくる。意味が音を追いかけているみたいで面白いな。

カナダの児童保護センターが運営するホットラインセンターが2019年5月に通報して、コスタリカ人の17歳の少女が自身のブログに投稿した絵を元に逮捕された事例が発生したと言う話みたいね。
しかし当時から似た様な事例は多々あったけど、これをみても以下にこの手の創作物規制を含む、児童ポルノ禁止法やそれに類するものが以下に児童の助けにならず、逆に弊害を引き起こしている事例が多発しているかを物語っているよねと思う。
アメリカに関しても実在児童被害が逆に増えて捜査の手が足りなくなっているみたいだし、もはや漫画やアニメなどの創作物規制が役に立たない所か逆に事態を悪化させていると言っても良いと思うんだけどね。

気候変動対策に関する国際会議「COP25」の閣僚級会合が始まりました。その一方で、会場の外には「第2のグレタさん」と呼ばれる8歳の活動家が現れました。
いや呼ばれてないわよ。少なくとも英語圏のニュースでは一切そう呼ばれてないし、ドイツ語圏でも見つからなかったわ。
元ネタと思われるEuronewsの記事の冒頭で"Greta Thunberg may have found her successor."(グレタ・トゥーンベリは後継者を見つけたかもしれません。)と言われているけれど、“「第2のグレタさん」と呼ばれる8歳の活動家”と訳すのはちょっと無理よねえ。
それと、Zozoさんだけでなく彼女の兄のKiwiさん11歳も登っているので、彼の存在を無視する(元ネタでもそうだけど)のはいただけないんじゃないかしら。
彼女らは数十万(数百万？)人のグレタさんフォロワーのうちの二人であり、今年の8月くらいからKletterkinderを名乗って色んなところ(木とかビルとか歩道橋とか)に上っては垂れ幕(旗)を掲げるという活動をしているわ。
風変わりな活動ではあるけれど、今回の件以前であまり話題になってる風には思えなかったわ。歩道橋登って警察のお世話になった的なニュースがちらと見つかった程度。ちなみにKletterkinderは"Climbing Children"、"登る子供たち"、"無限に廻るもの、ウラモグ"って感じの意味よ。
もう一度言うけれど、“「第2のグレタさん」”なる呼び名は彼女らにとって大仰に過ぎるし、そもそもそう呼んでいる例すら今回の朝日のニュースを除いて見つからなかったわ。(もし実際に呼ばれている例があったならごめんなさい。私の調査不足だわ。)

昔カリスマナンパ師が見ていて、いつか見ようと思っていた映画。
今話題の映画ジョーカーに出ているホアキンフェニックスが出ているということで、見てみた。
herという映画にも出ていたのだが、とても同一人物だとはわからない。
家で映画を見ると途中で中断したり他のことをやりながら見てしまうので、他の人の感想を呼んだりしながら見終えた。
難解な映画ということで、読み応えのある感想・批評がたくさん落ちてるので改めては書かないし、書けもしないのだが、
昔のアメリカの空気感を再現しているあたりに、ワンスアポンアタイムインハリウッドを連想した。今は2019年だからね。
主人公は、自由を選んだ結果、帰る場所もなく、寄る方もなく、行く先々の出会った女と寝るだけの生活を送ることになる。
これは、自由を与えられた男のある種普遍的な姿なのかもしれない。

The MIT Media Lab’s schedule was cleared on a Saturday afternoon in October 2015. There was a special guest and potential donor visiting then-director Joi Ito’s office.
One by one, some of the highest profile professors at the Media Lab trooped in and presented their research, answered questions, and discussed their work with the prospective benefactor: Jeffrey Epstein.
