...で、どういう意味なんだろう。
単語や文法に触れる前に、本物の英語を知る必要がある。教科書に書かれているI have a penのような文ではなく、実際に使われている英語から、その意味を体感させる。単語や文法による分解は、まず英語を知った後でいい。
子供の気を引くためには、やはりアニメだ。シンプソンズのような良質のアニメを国家予算で買ってきて、編集して教材にする。アメリカらしい、ナマの英語を感じてもらう。
しかしまず発音が難しすぎて聞き取れないので、ゆっくりはっきり喋るように音声を再録してもらう。語彙レベルもギリギリまで下げる。英語では(日本語でもそうだが)、難しい語彙も基本語の組み合わせでほとんどは表現できる。
小学校で学ぶべきは、give, take, get, go, makeのような横綱級に使い倒すことになる基本動詞達や、on,off,in,out,with,withoutといっ前置詞、副詞達、do, have, can, could, will, would, should, must, have to, be going toといった頻出助動詞、where,whenのような5W1H、this, that, it, a, the,といった基本語達を感覚で捉えられるようにする。これらは理屈では難しく、幾つもの実例に当たって感覚を磨かなければわからない。さらに、句動詞としての意味の変化や、頻出イディオムなど、理屈を覚えると逆になんでそうなるのかわからないものも、フレーズ単位で丸暗記させ、アニメのシーンとフレーズを関連付けて覚えさせることで感覚的に理解させる。

しかし英語の勉強を続けるにつれ、そっちのほうが英語の本質なのだと思うようになった。英語は字面にそんなに意味がないので、とくに口語では、なんでそうなってるのかさっぱりわからないイディオムが大量に出てくる。単語や文法にこだわるより前に、まず英語のいい加減さを受け入れなければならない。

そして、小学校時代に鍛えておくべきは発音だろう。まず発音記号を覚えさせる。教えられる先生がいないかもしれないが、真面目に教材を見ながらきちんと正しい口の形を練習すればすぐできるようになるはずだ

この本のDVDは役に立つ。Rの発音はこのやり方ではダメだが、そこはYouTubeとかでやり方を探してちょっと練習すればあっという間に発音は良くなるはずだ。
まずアニメを、英語字幕つきで見せる。意味が分かるということはないだろうが、長い単語も一瞬で捉えて認識する力が速読には不可欠だ。英語字幕を追っていれば、その能力は否応なく鍛えられる。
英語字幕は名詞と冠詞を緑、助動詞をピンク、動詞を赤、前置詞をオレンジ、副詞を青、形容詞は黄色、接続詞、関係詞は白、強く発音する単語は大きな文字、弱いところは小さな文字、修飾節はメインより一段小さい文字にする、イディオムは斜体にする、といった工夫をこらす。最初は意味がわからないだろうが、いずれ実際に英文を読むようになった時に、品詞ごとに色がついて見えてくるだろう。
まずは一周、楽しんで見終わる。5分ぐらいの長さを想定している。どういうストーリーだったか児童たちに推測で話をさせ、答えは言わない。
このためには、英語がわからなくても映像だけで楽しめるようなアニメでなければならない。シンプソンズのそういうエピソードを使う。
そして二周目に入る。今度は発音記号を字幕にする。色分けや大小などは英語字幕に準じる。キャラクターが喋るごとに一時停止していくモードにする(この教育法には 高度なシステムが必要である。教室の前方にはみんなに見える大画面があり、さらに児童1人ごとにタブレットを配り、作り込んだ英語学習アニメアプリを使うことを想定している)
大画面でアニメを再生し、キャラクターが一文を話し終わるごとに、発音記号の字幕を見ながら、みんなでアニメの声優の真似をして発音する。日本人の英語の先生では本当の英語の発音を教えるのは無理なので、ネイティブの声優を真似る。
発音が終わったら、さて、ここでなんと言ってるでしょう？と児童の一人に聞く。適当な推測で構わない。推測が感覚を磨く。
さあ、答えは何でしょうか、といいながら次に進むと、日本語の答えが表示される。それと同時に、英語字幕のルビ部分に単語やイディオムの意味が日本語で表示される。一画面に日本語と英語とルビの日本語が出てくることになる。
それで最後まで進んだら、三週目である。発音記号の字幕とともに、キャラクターが一言喋るごとに発音するところは同じ(さすがに退屈するかもしれないので、3週目は発音練習は飛ばしたほうがいいかもしれない)。その次は英語字幕と、ルビ部分に単語やイディオムの意味が日本語で出てくる。
さて、このシーンはどういう意味だったでしょうか。児童全体に問いかける。単語やイディオムの意味の日本語を見て、児童の１人が先程見た正解を類推で思い出して大きな声で言うはずだ。その後、日本語の正解が出てくるので、みんなで正解を言っていく。一体感の中で、英語ができているような気分がするだろう。この過程で日本人の英語コンプレックスは溶け去るはずだ。
次は個人学習にうつる。児童一人一人のタブレットで、アニメを見させる。先程のように、英語字幕一場面ごとに再生が止まる。
単語やイディオムをタップすると、4択で意味を答えるクイズ画面になる。答えを思い出して選んでいく。間違っていたら即×がつくので、4択の他の選択肢をタップして正解を探す。正解だと単語やイディオムのルビに正解の日本語が表示される。全単語の意味を正解したら、文全体の意味も4択から選ぶ。アニメ全部を正しくタップして日本語で意味を取れたら、ご褒美として日本語字幕でアニメを見られるモードがアンロックする。これでおそらく、授業時間中に終わらなくても、家に帰って自らアンロックのためのタップ作業をし、ご褒美の英語音声日本語字幕も家で見るようになるはずだ。
ルビから単語やイディオムの訳語を覚え、訳語の羅列から文全体の意味を推測する。この作業を繰り返していけば、確実な英語力の向上が見込める。
それとともに、英語音声を発音記号レベルでしっかり認識し、強く発音する所弱く発音する所を字幕からビジュアルに知って真似することで、音声的な部分も強化できる。リスニング力もかなり強化されるはずだ。
学年が進むに連れて、内容を高度にし、発音も現実のものに近づけていく。本物の役者を使ったドラマも入れていく(これはセリフを録り直して編集しても口がシンクしないので、新しく作らなければならないだろう)。

追記：論理積と論理和の優先順位で間違いがあったため修正しました。
まず最初の条件をif分を一回終わらせて入れ子にするか、falseならreturn させるといい。
入れ子になってもとにかく自分が分かるようにするといいです。
一行で書くのはそのあとではどうだろう

だから、論理演算子が複数になるときは、日本語でかつ、または使うと逆に混乱するから、
trueになる一つ目の条件の時は「○○」またはといったように書くと、
それ以外には既に上げていた色んな増田の方のやり方もそうだし、

兎にも角にも、元動画が非常にわかりにくいのが問題の根幹だろう。
人種差別をしているのかどうかわかりづらい状況なのに、インパクトの強いタイトルをつけ画像や動画をネットに投稿しているのが問題を複雑にしているようだ。
日本の狭いネット界隈の話に限って言えば、このユーチューバー側についている人たちとネトウヨ系の人たちが揉めているようだ。
増田に投稿したのは多分ユーチューバー側の人達がバズるのを狙ったのだろう。
雑にまとめたから事実誤認がありそうだけど、面倒くさいからこれぐらいにしておこう。

お役所のアニメポスターが話題になってるって知ってビックリした。
この話を聞いて、思いだしたことがある。
10年前くらいには居酒屋とか食堂にビキニの巨乳女性のポスターが貼ってあったなと思ってね。最近は見なくなったけど、これも「エッチなのはイケナイと思います」という理由で無くなったんだろうか？
いやまあ、ビールをもって微笑んでるポスターでさえ、中学生男子にしてみたらオゥティンテインがバッキバキ案件だろうなということは想像に難くない。自分は男だから、巨乳で潮紅したアニメ絵を見たら目を惹きつけられちゃう気持ちはわかる。でも、女性の目から見てこんなポスターがどんな風に見えているのかは分からんよな。
男子校みたいな職場に居るとエロに対する感受性が低くなるんだよな。やっぱ常に中学生見たいな目でエッチなsomethingを血眼になって探していないとね！
振り返れば、電子の妖精がシートベルト着用を呼びかけていたころはアニメポスターはレアリティのある感じだったけど、要するに作成する側が段々と大っぴらに作り始めたものだから、目をつけられちゃったんだよね。最近の乳袋海女ちゃんポスターに続いての話だから、今後はまたアニメポスターは日陰を歩んでいくのだろうね。
