東日本大震災が起こってからはや１ヶ月。この１ヶ月に様々な形で募金をした人も多いと思う。
一番ポピュラーなところでは日本赤十字社だろうか。日本赤十字に「義捐金」として送られたお金は、後日、被害にあわれた方々に配付されることになっている。その義捐金の配付がついこの間はじまったというニュースを見た。多くのお金が集まったものの、被害の状態を確認するのが難しいため、なかなか配付に踏み切れない、というのが現状のようだ。その「義捐金」とは違い、現地で活躍するNGOなどを支援するために出すお金のことを「支援金」という。その「支援金」のプラットフォームの中にどこかの新聞でも紹介された「Think the Earth基金」というものがある。

仕組みは、「Think the Earth基金」にお金を募金→基金を設置した団体が選んだ、現地で活躍するボランティア団体にそのお金が分割されて寄付。

注目して頂きたいのは「事務局管理費」事務局賃貸料が120万円、事務局経費が48万円、人件費が540万円となっている。合計708万円。
で、収入である会費・協賛金・寄付金の合計が約760万円。ん？寄付したつもりのお金の優に90％以上が管理費に使われてしまっているのである。事業収入をあわせても、だいたい40％が管理費に消える。このNPOが報告書通りに活動しているならば、寄付したお金の60％しか事業に使われないということになる。これは日本ユニセフもビックリの数字である。

ちなみに自分のOperaはまだ10.10。10.5xは確かに速いけどたまに落ちるので。
