ネットで書き込みしたら叩かれた。その叩きのコメントを見ていたら、自分の心臓がドクドクして、肺のあたりが揺さぶられる感覚がした。
この刺激は、もちろんあまり好ましい性質の刺激ではないのかもしれないが、しかしとても新鮮だった。
今までネット上の自分は大勢の中の一人で、いわばa manとでもいう存在だったのに、 叩かれているときは自分がある特定の一人の、the manになっていたのだ。それが自分のアイデンティティが試されているような気がして、とても、とても不安定な気持ちになった。
その体験があまりに新鮮で、そして新鮮に感じることがとても悲しかった。 僕は普段全くthe manではなくて、いつも大勢の中に埋没しつづけ、そしてその状態を好んでいて、そんな時にいざ自分自身のアイデンティティを求められると、なんというか、困る。
僕は何も主張もなく、こだわりもない。 本来はこの状態を抜け出すべきなのだろうが、 僕自身、この状態にいることを望んでいる。僕は、このままぼんやり死んでいくのだろう。
事前情報はほとんど仕入れてない状態で初日からプレイ。盆休み最高。
Steamで予約してたからなんか開幕早々船をもらえる。最初は受け取らずに遊ぼうかと思ってたけど、船を受け取らないと通知がずっと出てて鬱陶しいので受け取った。
項目選択の際にマウスボタンをしばらく長押しして決定する仕様に気付かなくて連打し続けてオプション設定に難儀した。馴染みがなかったのでちょっとわかりづらい。
自分の環境ではフルスクリーンで遊ぶとAlt+Tabとかで裏に移動した後復帰できなくなって落とすしかなくなる症状が出てたので適当なサイズのウィンドウモードで遊んでる。
もともとウィンドウモードの方が好き(裏が見えてないと不安で用もないのに頻繁に画面を切り替えてしまって逆にゲームに集中できない)なので個人的には問題ない。
数年前のゲーミングノートとかいうイロモノで遊んでるけど動作自体は割と快適、たまに達成度演出が出るときに妙に負荷がかかってるらしくて重くなる程度。
宇宙船搭乗時の探索がはかどるように視界の設定を少し広くしても問題なく動いてる。
惑星をいくつかわたり歩いてみたけど、別物という体で似たような形の共通オブジェクト類はたくさんあるので、なんかさっきも見たなーってものは多くなる。まあ想定内。
別に滅茶苦茶綺麗とかリアルとかいうわけではないけど、十分没入できるぐらいの綺麗さ。
正直歩いて回ってるだけで楽しいので、あっちにウロウロこっちにうろうろ、今度はあの丘に無補給で登ってみようとかそんな感じで楽しんでる。
うんうん、多少環境は厳しいが、やはり豊かな惑星だな。とか独り言を吐きながら遊ぶのがとても楽しい。綺麗な景色を見つけるとテンションが上がる。
自分で目的や遊びを見つけて勝手に楽しめるタイプで、宇宙探検とか見知らぬ惑星を探索とかのワードでワクワクする人には是非遊んでもらいたいと思う。
その惑星に全部で何種類生き物がいるかは降り立った時点で分かるので、探索しながらつい図鑑が埋まるまで滞在したくなってしまうし、
異星人の言葉を覚えたり、惑星の生物を探索するのが楽しすぎるので、今のところどんどん先に進むというより一つの惑星にしばらくとどまって探索して遊んでいる。
最近はポケモンGOで柄にもなく外をうろついてたけど、やはりこっちの方が性に合っていたようで、
プレイ開始から22時間水分補給のみでぶっつづけで探索して気絶するように眠って、目が覚めたらまた探索みたいな生活に自然となっていた。
一昨日は熱と頭痛でフラフラしながらもまだマウスに手を伸ばしてしまっていたので中毒性も高い。偶然鼻血が出てきたので我にかえって寝た。
その後は惑星探索は一日最大8時間までと決めて遊ぶことにしたので安定しているが、休みが終わるとうっかり仕事を投げ出してしまいそうで怖い。

猫を背負って町を出て、何かでっかいことをしたいんだと思う中流ドロシー（少年・トゥーナイヴス）。
猫（型マスコット、喋れる魔法少年のしもべという設定）のトト。

台風がやってきた。暴風警報が発令され、休校になった。少年ドロシーは退屈だった。
飼い猫トトとバタフライナイフとカッターナイフとLEDのライトとかたく焼きしめたパンをリュックに詰めこんで家を出た。
書き置きには「パパママごめんね僕はヤンキー とても口じゃ言えないくらいの 退屈な大人になんかなりたくないんだ ドロシー」
街で遭遇した交通事故。台風の所為かやじ馬はいなかった。少年ドロシーと同年代の被害者。
即死だったのだろう。
足元のナイキのエアマックスは雨に濡れているがとてもきれいだった（状態が良かった）ので、ドロシーは盗って履いてみるとぴったりだった。
背負ったリュックからトトが姫姉さまの声で死んだ人のものをとるのはやめなさいって言った。ドロシーにだけ聞こえる声で。

道すがら出会うのは
過剰な知識が人格を破たんさせたのか、博士はラブドールで腹上死。しかし、そのとき奇跡が……。
自称マッドサイエンティストにして非科学的存在、メガネと白衣のDr.スケア＝クロウ。
ブリキとは武力。労働１３号（レイバー１３orロボット１３）という林業用自立歩行作業用機械にして、見た目はゴスロリ美少女。
あまりにも勇敢過ぎて、腰抜け呼ばわりされただけでプッツンきちゃうんです。
「誰にも腰抜けなんて言わせないぞ"Nobody calls me (man)chicken"」が口癖。
僕に踏まれた町にして僕が踏まれた町のルビータウンから出るために１人の少年と３人の美少女(非人間)と１匹の猫がたんけんぼくのまち。
町を徘徊する一行の邪魔をする暇人、「XA（イクサ）の戦士」が送り込む刺客たち。基本的に少女たちが勝手に倒してくれた。
だいたいそういう展開がワンクール続いた。最終回直前。中ボス的存在が登場。
少年ドロシーは両手にナイヴスを握りしめ、エアマックスで大地を踏みしめ、町を駆け抜けた（逃げ出した）。

●結ぶの章
町から逃げ出した（逃げ出せた）、少女たちからも逃げ出した少年ドロシーと飼い猫トト。
辿り着くのは最果ての街トウキョウ。
だけど、本当は全部に認められたかっただけと１０年後に気付きそうになるけど、そのうちドロシーは考えるのをやめた。
トトはもう死んだ。

"Pull, Dasher, pull" yells the farmer, but the horse stands like a rock.
"Pull, Dusty, pull" shouts the farmer, and the horse finally gets the car out with minimal effort.
The driver is dumbfounded so he asks the farmer, "why do you call your horse different names?"
"You see," the farmer replies, "Dusty is blind. If he knew he was working by himself, he wouldn't have pulled."
ふと考えた。
ここに、さしたる理由もなく前途洋々たる１５歳の若者を殺した人間がいるとする。そいつはとりあえず、少年法が適用されないような年齢。
彼は当然裁判にかけられ、メディアに騒がれ、世間に騒がれ、ありとあらゆる人から責められ、重い刑を言い渡されるだろう。
ここでいう彼とは当然男性という意味ではなく、性別を特定しない英語のtheyやドイツ語のmanみたいな意味だ。
ところが、その裁判をしている最中、あるものが出てきたとする。
ここから現実的でない設定に入るけど、「数回しか使えないが人物と年齢を指定して人の未来が見える機械」ってやつが発明されていたとする。
それはビデオカメラみたいなやつで・・・もういっそビデオカメラでいいや。
その人に向けて、年齢と月日を指定してシャッターを切るとその時点の彼の３０秒くらいの動画が出てくる。しかし、デリケートな機会なので見られるようになるまで１カ月かかる。
一回とるのにとんでもない高いお金がかかる機械なのでそうそう使えやしない。
しかし、偶然殺された若者の親が、子どもが死ぬ二週間前くらいに２０歳の時点を撮っていたとする。
殺された二週間後にその動画が届いた。そしたら、そこに写っていたのはなんと２０人もの人間を残酷な方法で快楽殺人し、裁判にかけられた彼だった。
そうなった場合、それが世間にどこからか漏れて万人の知るところとなった場合、最初に殺人を犯した人に対する評価はどんな風になるのだろうか？
結果的に快楽殺人犯の1人を殺して、将来死ぬはずだった２０人を救ったことになるわけだ。
殺されるはずだった人やその親族、友人、恋人は間違いなく殺人犯の彼に感謝することになるだろう。
原刑されるとは考え難いが、ＤＥＡＴＨ ＮＯＴＥ のキラみたいに、信者とかが出てくるのか。

15 Year Old Discovers Hidden Mayan City
A fifteen year old from Quebec has used satellite photos, Mayan astronomy and his own intuition to solve some questions about the placement of Mayan cities and to discover a new city. William Gadoury loves everything Mayan and was studying Mayan constellations when he overlayed a constellation map on a map of the Yucatan Peninsula. He discovered that the known cities, like Chichen Itza and Uxmal, were exactly lined up with the stars in major Mayan constellations. Using this same map and thought process, he noticed that the third star in the 23rd constellation he was studying was missing. He found satellite images from space agencies, including NASA, JAXA (from Japan) and Google Earth, and discovered a third city where the third star of the constellation said it would be. He has named this city, as yet unexplored on the ground, K'aak Chi, or Mouth of Fire. The lost city has a pyramid that is 86 meters high, as well as 30 other visible (from the photos) structures. It is on the border with Belize. This young man is hoping to go to the International Science Fair in Brazil in 2017 but is lacking in the necessary funds.
いや日本映画つまらんよ。だって見なくてもオチわかるし。ハートフルでハートウォーミングなのがいいんでしょ？みんな頑張ってるのが見たいんでしょ？もたいまさこがいいんでしょ？
たぶん例に挙がった監督って、だいたい現状を肯定する話だったり、ゆるかったり、なんか切ないねみたいな日本人特有のワビサビを感じさせるのばっかでしょ。役者とか舞台は違うけど結局同じテーマしか扱ってない。まあ安心して観れるんだろうけど、完全マンネリで、テレビの2時間ドラマででもやってたらいい。
あくまで俺目線の意見だけど、もっと意外性があっていいと思う。日本にどれだけの脚本家がそれだけ練った話を作れるだろうか。あと社会風刺とか絶対しないよね。何かを訴えかけるようなことは苦手な民族性からなんだろうけど。警察は正義。だから、ジョークもさぶい。ブラックジョークって最高に面白いと思うんだけど、そういうのない。テレビと違う映画の魅力って、公共の場では自重すべききわどい表現を前面に押し出せることだと常々考えているんだが、女子供年寄り向けの映画ってほんとくそつまらんと思う。
日本映画全部嫌いなわけじゃなくて、過去作だけど好きな監督・作品は、
・大森立嗣「ゲルマニウムの夜」「ケンタとジュンとカヨちゃんの国」
・吉田大八「腑抜けども、悲しみの愛を見せろ」「桐島、部活辞めるってよ」
いわゆる日本のサブカルを支える"俺ら"視点の作風がいいと思う。
なんか突っ込みどころ満載な、独特の空気があっていろいろ面白い。
俺が観た園子温は「紀子の食卓」「冷たい熱帯魚」とかだいぶ変態に傾倒していて、観客置いてけぼりでただぶっとんでりゃいいの？ってのがいまいちな印象。
塚本晋也の「鉄男 The Bullet Man」はようわからんかったが、「野火」がすごいらしいので見てみたい。

何でもかんでも略しすぎるのはどうかと思う。
最近だと「りょ」だ。
初めてこのメールをもらったときは、どういう意味か分からなくてドキドキした。
こいつの身に何か大変なことがあって俺に伝えようとしているのではないか…と思ってドキドキした。
そのあとしばらくして、「了解」という意味だと知ってガッカリしたわ。事件性ゼロだった。
「うかい」ぐらい打とうぜ。
いや、そもそも予測変換で「了解」って出るだろう。それをわざわざ「りょ」だけにするとは極度のlazy manか。
先日、またしても「りょ」というメールが来たんで腹が立って仕返しに「あーね」と返信。
そしたら「フロリダ」と来た。唐突なフロリダ。とにかくイミフすぎたので「ズッ友」と返したらメール来なくなったわ。

Być może się czepiam, ale gdyby Luthor się w tym filmie nie przedstawił, nie miałbym pojęcia kim właściwie jest ten rudy gość, który z jakiegoś powodu postanowił być bardzo złośliwy.

Where “Man of Steel” opens big, with an intergalactic origin story that has the heightened tone of pseudo-scripture, the first big set piece in “Batman v Superman” is a catastrophe from home, a virtual replay of the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, with Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) looking on with horror and hatred as the tower of Wayne Industries collapses (vertically) into a blinding gust of light-gray powder—as a result of the battle waged by Superman (Henry Cavill) against the Kryptonian usurper General Zod.

Przynajmniej z wyglądu, bo po tych strzępkach dialogów, które pojawiają sie na ekranie z jej udziałem ciężko się zorientować kim właściwie jest ta pani, która w pewnym momencie pojawia się z tarczą i mieczem u boku Supermana i Batmana.

The EU’s regulatory system, among the strictest in the world, depends on businesses reporting suspicious transactions of hydrogen peroxide, acetone and a number of other chemicals to the police. Businesses are urged to look for a number of red flags, such as if the customer’s use for the chemical is unclear or the purchase is made using large amounts of cash. The rules also ban consumers from owning seven potentially dangerous chemical solutions, including hydrogen peroxide solution, in concentrations higher than 12%.
But the fact that the chemicals have so many commercial applications—from disinfecting pools to removing nail polish—makes identifying suspicious transactions challenging. Authorities and experts say the huge quantity of legitimate trade of such widely-used chemicals means finding suspicious transactions is effectively like picking a needle out of a haystack.
“It’s a very difficult area because there are thousands of legitimate uses for these substances,” said Peter Newport, chief executive of the Chemical Business Association, which represents U.K. chemical distributors.
Some officials have also expressed worries that not all of the 28 EU governments have swiftly implemented the regulations, failing, for example, to create a contact point in law enforcement that would investigate suspicious transactions.
It remains unclear how the Islamic State operatives obtained the chemicals. An official with the Belgian Association of Chemical Distributors wasn’t aware of any suspicious transactions reported to the police in recent months. A Belgian police spokesman declined to comment.

These chemicals were mainly ammonium-nitrate fertilizer or potassium chlorate shipped from China for use in Pakistan’s match industry and then smuggled across the border.
Now shipments of these chemicals crisscrossing the globe are monitored through a system maintained at the World Customs Organization in Brussels. Customs agencies are supposed to warn each other about suspicious shipments, using some of the same criteria identified in the European regulations.
TATP poses a particularly serious threat to aviation, says Mr. Keinan. The chemical isn’t detectable, he says, by the machines installed at many airports, which are able to uncover more common, nitrogen-based explosives such as TNT. Dogs can also be trained to detect the material.

もちろん様々な理由があるけれど、手軽に説明できる例として、私は「水曜日」を挙げている。英語で書いてみようか。

括弧の部分は“発音しない”。
なぜ発音しないアルファベットを書くのか、発音する「E」と発音しない「E」の違いとは。法則性があるのか。大半の人が経験したであろう“躓き”だ。ほとんどの人は、この「水曜日」で英語を学ぶことに対して精神的障壁が出来る。
何かを学ぶ際、例えば算数だと方式だとか、いわゆる“パターン”を見出すよな。「1+1=2」を学んだ際、それとは別に「2+2=4」とかを学ぶ必要はない。だって、足し算を覚えればできるんだから。
言語も同じで、読み方や書き方に法則性を見出せば、その単語そのものを知らなくても大抵は読めたりする。その単語の意味を学ぶだけでいい。つまり、アルファベットの書き方と読み方を覚えれば、それを組み合わせた単語も読めるはずだ。と思った矢先に「水曜日」というよく使いそうな単語で「発音しないアルファベットがある」、更に「法則性もない」という“例外”をぶち込んでくる。
この“例外”の厄介なところは、「発音しないアルファベットが存在する」ということだけしか学べないところだ。法則性がなく、本当の意味で“例外”なのだ。なのでその都度、「発音しないアルファベットが存在する単語」の読み書き（そしてその単語のもつ意味も含めて）覚えないといけない。平面な道に一部だけ凹凸があるような、これら“例外”は学ぶ側に負担を与える。
この後も、「BERRY」などで「なぜ『R』が2ついるんだ？」となる。そして「BURY」という綴りが違うのに発音が全く同じ単語が登場し、「なぜ同じ発音なんだ」、「なぜ『BURY』の方は『R』が一個だけなんだ」、「こんなことになるなら、『無発音』という概念いらないだろ」と激昂するのは誰もが通る道だろう。
次点では、「MAN」の複数形が「MEN」、「複数形だけど単数形と同じ綴り」という単語などの登場が共感できるところだろうか。
もう分かっただろう。英語が学ばれにくい理由は単純明快。言語として洗練されていないからだ。つまり覚えにくい。
なにせ英語は様々な国の言語がもとになっており、いわばキメラ生命体。それで洗練されていたとしたら奇跡というほかない。そして、英語は特にそれが顕著なだけで、ほとんどの国の言語はそこまで洗練されていない。
もちろん、日本語だってお世辞にも洗練されているとはいえない。けれど、私たち日本に住んでいる人はそれを日常で使っているから、多少の違和は受け入れられる。更にいえば世界共通語ではないから、別に洗練されていなくてもいい。別の国の人に無理して学んで貰う必要がないのだから。
ちなみに、上記の例は本国の人がしていた話を参考にした。つまり、英語に慣れ親しんでいる人ですら、不満の多い言語ということだ。本国の人ですら不満の出る言語を、他国の人がうまく学べないからといって、個人の問題で片付けてしまうのは間違っていると私は考える。
英語を世界共通語にしなければいいのか、という話ではない。英語は洗練されていない。だから覚えにくい。という前提を共通認識にしようという話だ。それを踏まえたとき、今の「英語の勉強のさせ方」ももう少し最適化されていくのではないだろうか、というのが私の淡い期待だ。
