■googleのSwiffyが2016年6月末でサービス終了と言っていたが

実際、

で、今日は7月3日だが、フラッシュ動画をアップロードしてHTML5に変換するサービスはまだ使える。

これって、アドワーズ広告のフラッシュ動画を自動的にHTML5に変換するのを止めるだけだったんだろうか？

それならそうと書いてほしかったぞ。

2015-04-01

■GNOME3に落ち着いた

私自身、触れたことのあるデスクトップ環境は多くなく、

他にはGNOME、Unity、KDE、Xfce、LXDE、Mate、Cinnamon、

それぐらいしか触れたことはないが、最近GNOME3に落ち着いた。

理由としてはこの辺りが決め手だった。

最小化ボタンなどの機能が削られたことへの批判も目にするが、自分が使う分には問題に感じる部分はない。

(最小化は…Alt+Space→Spaceするか、gnome-tweak-toolで復活させればいいと思う)

自分みたいにオシャレなんか他人に任せたい気をつかいたくないという人にはぴったりだと感じる。

SO-03CのWotanのX Unlock Toolの動画から進まねーなって思ってたら，Win8.1のドライバをもう一度削除して

そのままX UnlockToolの動画画面行ったら次に進めた．

ドライバを入れるのではなく，削除するのが重要だったみたいだ．

ちなみに環境OSはWin8.1

■Windows XPとWindows 7のデュアルブート

はじめに、XPと7のデュアルブートPCの構成にあたって

建前としては2つのOSを併用しての慣れ、移行を意識したもの。デュアルブートをしてみること自体にDIY的な興味もありました。

対象は、Windows XP Home 32bitがインストールされたデスクトップPCです。

1台目のハードディスク（ディスク0）はパーティションが2分割されており、CドライブにWindowsXPがインストールされ、Dドライブはその他のデータ用です。未割当の領域は無いのでパーティション操作ツールを使ってDドライブを縮めて空きを作るつもりです。

そこにもう一つのOS/Windows7 Home Premium 64bit DSP版をインストールし、XPとのデュアルブートにします。以下、覚書です。

準備

情報収集・手順の確認

まずは、情報収集です。「Windows XP 7 デュアルブート」などで検索しました。

やはり公式ということでMicrosoftのウェブサイトの説明をはじめによく確認しました。http://windows.microsoft.com/ja-JP/windows7/Install-more-than-one-operating-system-multiboot

説明としては割とシンプルなもので、要はOSは古い順にインストールせよ、新しいOSを空きパーティションにインストールせよというだけのものです。

次いで移行wikiやmynavi、DOSVレポート、ITAYA氏のサイト等各所詳しい方々の記事も参考にしました。

基本的に先にXPがインストールされていれば、さほど難しいこともなく7もインストールでき、起動時にブートメニューが示され「以前のバージョンのwindows」か「windows 7」のどちらを起動するか選べるようになるとのことでした。このときの既定のOSや待ち時間はWindows７のシステムのプロパティから設定できるようです。

ブートマネージャーをコマンドプロンプトで編集する方法や、EasyBCDで編集する方法も紹介されていました。

必要なドライバ・ソフトウェアの準備

Windows7 64bitに必要なドライバをダウンロードしておきます。

マザーボードメーカーのサイトから、チップセット、LAN、サウンド、グラフィックの各ドライバをダウンロード。

グラフィックボードのドライバをダウンロード。

他ハードウェアのドライバなどをダウンロード。

セキュリティソフトのダウンロード。

EasyBCDのダウンロード。

Mini Tool Partition Wzard

Easeus to do Backup

バックアップ

インストール先のハードディスク（ディスク0）を丸ごとイメージバックアップします。

Easeus to do Backup 5.5でディスク0を外付けハードディスクにディスクコピー。

インストール実施

パーティションの操作

Mini Tool Partition Wizard 7.7でDドライブのサイズを縮める。

ハードディスク末尾側（？）約60GBを未割当領域に。

特に異常なさそうなことを確認。

Windows 7のインストール

はじめXPを起動したままインストールしようとしたが、「このインストールディスクは、お使いのバージョンのWindowsと互換性がありません。詳細については、コンピューターのシステム情報を参照してください。Windowsを新しくインストールするには、インストールディスクを使ってコンピューターを再起動（ブート）し、［新規インストール（カスタム）］を選択してください。」などとメッセージが出てきた。問答無用に上書きしようとするらしいが、32bitと64bitだし、DSP版だし、でアップグレードインストールできないのは当然。

Win7のインストールDVDを入れたままPC再起動。BIOSポスト画面でキーを押してDVDドライブからの起動を優先させる。

インストーラが起動し、インストールを進めていく。インストール先に未割当の領域を選ぶ。

その後普通にインストールを進める…はずが、うっかりインストール途中の再起動時「Press any key to boot from CD or DVD」と表示されているときにキーに触ってしまい、初めからインストールやり直しになってしまった。無駄にWindows.oldを作ることになった。

それ以外には特に何もなくインストール完了。

再起動やシャットダウン後の起動を行い、XP・７いずれもブートメニューから選んで問題なく起動することを確認。

後処理

チップセットドライバ、LANドライバ、サウンドドライバをインストール再起動。

グラフィックボードのドライバをインストール再起動。

.NET Framework 4.5をインストール（Radeon の新しいCatalystには4か4.5が必要。なぜドライバのユーティリティにこんな大きなランタイムめいたものが必要なのか…）

セキュリティソフト（ノートン）をインストール。

インターネット接続してWindows Update

Windows 7の標準機能でシステムイメージバックアップ。起動に必要なファイルが含まれるのでXPのパーティションも一緒にバックアップされる。

XPが７の復元ポイントを削除してしまう問題の対処

XPから、Windows7のパーティションへのアクセスを不能にする。

  1. Windows XPでレジストリエディタ (regedit.exe) を起動します。
  2. 「HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices\Offline」を開きます。「Offline」キーが存在しない場合は、新規に作成します。
  3. 「編集」→「新規」→「DWORD値」をクリックします。エントリ名に「\DosDevices\X:」と入力します。(X:の部分はVista/2008/7がインストールされているドライブ名です。
  4. 「\DosDevices\X:」をダブルクリックし、値のデータに「1」を入力します。

XPからは容量0・空き容量0・未フォーマットのローカルディスクとして見えるようになる。（アクセス不可）

気付いたこと

ドライブレターがふり直される

Cドライブ（XP）、Dドライブがあるので、なんとなくEドライブがWin7のシステムドライブになると思っていたが、Win7を起動したらインストールされたドライブはCに、XPのドライブはDに、DドライブだったものはEに、以下他のドライブレターも順にずれていた。

当然XPを起動したときはもとのドライブレターのまま。（Win7はE）

約100MBのシステムパーティションが作られていない。

ディスクの先頭に約100MBのシステムパーティションが作られる、と聞いていたが今回は作られなかった。

WindowsXPのあるCドライブのbootフォルダの中に関係ファイルがあるようだ。

なぜブートメニューに「以前のバージョンのwindows」なのか。手抜き？

『「以前のバージョンのWindows」を選択実行した場合は、NTLDRが読み込まれ、BOOT.INIに複数のOSが設定されていれば、そのメニューを表示し、BOOT.INIに1つのOSしか設定されていない場合は、すぐにそのOSが起動します。』

なるほど。たとえば、XPと2000がインストールされている場合、以前のバージョンの．．．を選んだら、XPと2000のどちらを起動するかメニューが表示される、と。

■はてなブックマークの画像を非表示にする方法

はてなブックマークのデザインが変更されたおかげで、非常に見づらくなったのが気に食わない。

画像がやたらでかいのさえ何とかなればと思って、ちょっと作ってみた。

1. 下記の内容を、「removeImg.html」のファイル名で作成する。

毎回操作が必要なのが面倒。誰か詳しい人、特定のURLで常に有効にする方法、教えて下さい。m(_ _)m

そのためのツイッタークライアントがありますよ。

窓の杜とかツイッター公式サイトあたりからいくつかのクライアント情報があったと思います。

フォローしてるけれど、友達の公式ＲＴを表示しないとか、特定の友達だけのＴＬ表示とかいろいろ出来ます。

超便利です。

私もフォロー数は少なめで、はてブへのメモみたいな事して遊んでたり、フォロワーをグルーピングして一気に読んでたりします。

イラっとしそうだなとおもったら、その友達のＴＬを読むのを後回しにも出来ます（未読、既読管理が出来ますので）。

精神的にもこういったtoolは便利ですよ

■Thunderbird から Outlook 2007 にメールを移行

やー。面倒でした。

古い情報だと Outlook Express を経由しろと書いてあるので、後継であるらしいWindows Live Mail を経由して（Windows Live Mail からエクスポートする方法で）

Outlook に移行したのだが、どういうわけか宛名が文字列として移行されてしまい、xxx@example.com というメールアドレスの移行ができなかったんです。

で eml → msg もしくは pst 形式への変換ソフトを探すのですが、無料のものが見つからなくてあんまり情報もありませんでした。が、ありましたよ！お兄さん。

これなら、msg ⇔ eml の相互変換ができますです。

ライフサイエンスに特化していないが、かなり広い範囲の単語が登録されているのほとんどの単語、述語の意味が分かる。

■NEC VALUESTAR VW500をリカバリ領域のみで再セットアップするまでのまとめ

自分用および同様の症状で困っている方用ログ。

当初の目的はブート時エラーからの復帰

友人から起動しなくなったとヘルプが来たので急行。

電源ボタンを押し、BIOS起動後、ブート中にこんなエラー。

A disk read error occurred

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

帰省中１ヶ月ほど放置し、久しぶりに電源を押すとエラーが出るようになったらしい。

変なソフトのインストールやBIOSのアップデート等はしていないとのこと。

エラー復旧に１週間も無駄にした挙句挫折

当初はF8キーを押して[詳細ブートオプション]を開ければ、すぐに直せると思っていたけど、

ブートから進まないのだからF8キーを押しても同じエラーが出るだけ。

一応、F2キーでBIOS設定画面を開き、[Load Setup Defaults]を試すも症状変わらず。

　

また、VISTAにはXPの[回復コンソール]がなく、[システム回復オプション]という復旧手段が用意されている。

しかし、このマシンはプリインストール版なので、ディスクからの起動できない。

この場合はF8キーを押して[詳細ブートオプション]を開いて、そこから起動できるようだ。

その後、試行錯誤を繰り返した結果、再セットアップするしかないという結論に至った。

KNOPPIXでデータのバックアップを取っておこう

バックアップするにもWindowsが起動しないので、こんな時はいつもLinuxOS Knoppixに頼っている。

公式サイト（http://www.rcis.aist.go.jp/project/knoppix/）ではDVD版とCD版がiso形式で配布されており、DVDなりCDなりに焼けばOSをディスク起動できる優れもの。

さらにCD版をUSBにインストールしたUSB版も作成できるので、非常用に１つ作っておくと便利。

以下、USB版Knoppixの作り方。

こちらのサイト（USB-Knoppixではじめよう http://yumenohako.jp/cgi-bin/knoppix/wiki.cgi）を参考に簡単に解説。

【本題】リカバリディスク（再セットアップディスク）をどうやって作る？

このマシンは前述の通りプリインストール版なのでインストールディスク（再セットアップディスク）が付属していない。

では、どうやって再セットアップするかというと、

しかし、今回はF11キーを押してもエラーが表示されるのみ。それにわざわざリカバリディスクを作成しているはずもなく手詰まり。

リカバリディスクはこちら（http://nx-media.ssnet.co.jp/）から購入できるけど価格は1万円。自作するしかない。

そもそも本来はリカバリディスクを作成できるのだから、HDD内のどこかにリカバリディスク用のデータが入っているはず。

そこで再びKNOPPIXを起動してみると、[NEC-RESTORE]という名前のリカバリ領域が隠しパーティションとして用意されていた。

以下、リカバリ領域を使ったリカバリディスクの作り方。

こちらのサイト（LaVieレストア顛末記 http://deme.jp/wing/vol019/demeshin/NEC.htm）が大変参考になった。感謝。

以上の作業によりHDDが故障していない限りはリカバリディスクを作成して再セットアップ可能。

ただし、当初のエラーの原因がHDDにある可能性もあるので、HDDを交換してからリカバリディスクを使用した方がいいかもしれない。

今後はCrystalDiskInfoなどのソフトを使用してHDD監視をするつもり。

【失敗】再セットアップ時のエラー

再セットアップが進むと、シマンテック社の「Norton Ghost」というバックアップツールが起動し、1%2%3%...と作業が進行する。

最初にやった時は、50%ほど作業が完了したところでこんなエラーが出現。

Cannot open GHOSTERR.TXT - insert diskette (434)

File Name ? (546)

Output error file to the following location

A:\GHOSTERR.TXT

[OK] [Cancel]

おそらくGHOSTERR.TXTというファイルの出力先が見つからないのだろうとあたりを付けて、

フォーマット済みCD-RWを挿入後、A:をCDドライブのF:に書き換えてOKを押すと

Application Error 19235

Ghost has detected corruption in the image file.

Please perform an integrity check on the image.

if this program persists, please contact Symantec support center

or contact systematec support

どうやらイメージファイルが壊れているらしい。

このイメージファイルとは、前述リカバリディスク作成手順６以降の[拡張子GHSのファイル]。GHSはGHOSTの略か？

そこで、Disk4,5,6をNERO9体験版＋太陽誘電製のTHE日本製のDVD-Rを使用し、

念のためディスク１枚あたり4GBを超えないようにし、4倍速で焼き直してみたところ、今度は正常に再セットアップが完了。

最初はWindowsに標準装備されている[ディスクへの書き込み]＋台湾製の安物DVD-Rを使用したのだが、

どこかで焼きミスしたことがエラーの原因だったらしい。

これを教訓に次からは絶対にライティングソフトと国産ディスクを使うことにしよう。

（追記10/22）HDDの健康状態は「注意」レベル

CrystalDiskInfoを使用してHDDの状態を調べたところ、案の定「注意」レベルだった。

注意項目生の値　
代替処理保留中のセクタ数B（11）
回復不可能セクタ数25（37）

※[生の値]の数値はデフォルトが16進数表記。括弧内は10進数に変換した数値。

やっぱり当初のエラーはHDDの故障とまではいかなくとも寿命が近いということだったのか。

使用時間は17000時間。HDDの交換を検討した方が良いけど、一体型の交換は難しいような。

まずはWestern Digital製HDDだからData Lifeguard Diagnosticsでゼロフィルをやってみる予定。

エラーチェックで完全に逝くかもしれないけど、バックアップもしてるし、リカバリディスクもあるし。

あと、VistaのバーションはSP1だと思っていたけど、まだ更新していなかった模様。

そこで更新プログラムをインストールしてみると途中で止まってしまい、修復スタートアップする羽目に。

（追記10/24）WD Data LifeGuard Diagnosticsのゼロフィルで「正常」に回復

Vista SP1の導入に失敗し、修復スタートアップを行ったものの、12時間経っても終わらず。

そこでいっそのことHDDのデータを完全に消去して、再セットアップすることにした（7時間ほどかかる）。

方法としては先日のとおり、Western Digital製HDDの診断ツール「Data Lifeguard Diagnostics」を使用する。

このツールはFDD版とCD版しかないので、いつものようにUSB版の作成を試みる。以下作り方と使用方法。

再セットアップ後、CrystalDiskInfoを実行すると見事に「正常」レベルに回復。

前回注意項目だった「代替処理保留中のセクタ」と「回復不可能セクタ数」の生の値は０に変化。

なぜか使用時間が14000時間に減少していたものの、とりあえずはHDDの故障の心配はしなくていいかな。

ちなみにSP1の導入は成功。今後はCrystalDiskInfoを常駐させ、監視を続けることにする。

　

（追記11/8/18）そろそろ限界か

あれから10か月後、悪夢のブルースクリーンが降臨したので、またクリーンインストールを行った。

CrystalDiskInfoを使用してHDDの状態を調べたところ、「注意」レベルに逆戻り。

回復不可能セクタ数70（112）

※[生の値]の数値はデフォルトが16進数表記。括弧内は10進数に変換した数値。

以前のエラー時よりさらに状況が悪化しており、HDDの寿命がかなり迫っている模様。

いつ突然死を迎えてもおかしくないので、重要なデータをバックアップのうえHDDの交換を予定。

■変拍子

音楽の技術的なことはほとんど知らないんだけど、メタル系の音楽をよく聴くのね。

で、ToolとかDream Theaterとか最初聴いたときクセがつよいなーとか思って敬遠してたんだけど、

ある時あれ？ってハマって良さが一気にわかってくる。

どうやらそのクセってのは変拍子と呼ばれる曲の中でリズムを変える技術だったようだ。

いいね、変拍子。なんか緊張感があるというか。

いいなーと思ってたヴァルキリープロファイルってゲーム（未クリア）のサントラに入ってた「Confidence in the domination」も変拍子だった。

ほかいろんな変拍子な曲を探してみようと思う。

どうやら、Twitterで、ウィルスが埋め込まれたページがばら撒かれているようである。Twitterには文字数に制限があるので、URLを短縮表記するようになっている。ウィルス対策をしていないユーザーが、ウィルスを埋め込んだページの短縮URLをクリックしてしまうと、SPAMの発信元や踏み台にされて、気がついたら、立派なSPAMer扱いされていたという展開である。

これは、ウィルス対策をしていないユーザーの側の失敗であると同時に、URLの短縮表記によって、複数の表記が可能になり、ウィルスが仕込まれているサイトの特定が遅れるという点、さらに、短縮URLのサービスを行っている側が、最低限度のチェックすら行っていないという事から、発生しているトラブルと言える。

ウィルス対策をしていないユーザーの側の失敗については、個人の非営利使用に限って無償利用できるウィルス対策ソフト(AVG、AVAST)や、安価に売られているソフトがあるのに利用していないという点に、問題がある。ウィルス対策をしていれば万全かと言われればNoなのだが、すくなくとも、script-kiddyやtool-monkeyレベルの悪戯ならば、ウィルス対策ソフトで対応できる。

URLの短縮表記によって、問題のサイトの特定が遅れるのは、報告を受ける側としては、同じサイトによる被害報告が大量に集まってから、どうやら真正の被害報告らしいと判断して行動に移すという行動パターンがある為に、閾値に達するのが遅れるということ、さらに、短縮URLサービスを行っている会社のサイトであると考え、被害者の苦情がそちらに行き、うちのサイトの問題ではないからという理由で無視されたり、閾値に達するのが遅れる為に、対応が遅れるという事で、被害が広まってしまうのである。短縮URLサービス側がウィルスチェックをしていないという点については、短縮URLを提供するのが本業で、転送先の更新を定期的にチェックして、更新が少しでもあったらウィルスチェックをかけるという作業を行うのは、筋が違うという理屈がある。

ウィルスコードを埋め込んだページを作り、それをTwitterで広めようとする者が一番悪いのであるが、それを犯罪であるとして取り締まるのは難しい。というのも、ウィルスコードを埋め込んだページにしても、掲示板に匿名で書き込まれたデータがそれだった場合、そのページの運営者は被害者となるし、TwitterでそのURLを広めた者にしても、自分がそのページを見たときにはウィルスコードは埋め込まれていなかったとなると、加害者とするには難しいという事になる。ウィルス対策ソフトを入れていてガードされていたので、気がつかなかったという言い逃れも、可能だったりする。

ウィルスコードを埋め込んだ者を探さなければならないが、他国の匿名プロクシーを複数使っていたりすると、そのログを追いかけて裏を取る費用と、ウィルスコードを埋め込んだ行為に対する処罰の効果とを比べると、どう考えても不合理になる。

こういったトラブルが、ウィルス対策ソフトを製造販売している業者のマッチポンプである可能性は否定できないのだが、何もしないよりは、した方がマシということで、ウィルス対策ソフトを入れとけと言わざるを得なくなるのであった。

I had this issue on twitter with my social site for business people marzar.com but the nice folks at twitter reverted the name to me as the trade mark owner as soon as I contacted them in regards to the issue.

9. http://www.samepoint.com conversation search engine again came back with differing results to the other tools listed above.

10. http://www.marzar.com free to use business networing platform. Many members are involved with online marketing and or are senior business people. The audience is similar to Linkedin but the functionality differs. I built this site and I am working hard towards the next release of our platform now that we are funded.

Funnily enough I have been searching free tools today and here are a few goodies I am happy to share with you and the group.

1. http://www.keotag.com/ - searches tags on blogs and social bookmarking sites. (been having plenty of fun with this one and it's seems v. useful).

2. http://boardtracker.com/ - Searches posts on bullitin boards / forums for mentions of keywords / brand terms.

3. http://www.trendrr.com/ - enables you to track trends and provides some very valuable competitive analysis functionality.

4. http://usernamecheck.com/ This tool is essential for brand name protection. It lets you search a wide range of social sites to see if anyone is using your brand term / name as their profile ID. If they are not then I would suggest you register your brand / business name even if you do not plan to use the site to protect your business from damage. If your name is taken and not being used the chances are it is being squatted by a chancer. I had this issue on twitter with my social site for business people marzar.com but the nice folks at twitter reverted the name to me as the trade mark owner as soon as I contacted them in regards to the issue.

5. http://hellotxt.com update your status from one place across multiple social sites.

■HDDがガリガリゴリゴリうるさかったので

HDDがガリガリゴリゴリうるさかったので、いろいろ対策を調べてみた。

ガリガリ音はHDDアクセス音と呼ぶらしい。

CrystalDiskInfoというソフトでHDDの速度を調整するとアクセス音を静かにできるらしい。

AAM（Automatic Acoustic Management）機能をサポートするHDDでは、動作モードを本ソフト上から変更できるようになった。HDDの動作速度を抑えて静音化するといった、HDDのパフォーマンスと騒音のバランスを簡単に調整することが可能。

CrystalDiskInfo

ということで、CrystalDiskInfoを入れて設定。

メニューの機能→上級者向け機能→AAM/APM設定→AAMを静音にする

今までのHDDガリガリ音がウソのように静かになった。

悩んでないで、さっさと試せばよかった。

追記:Hitachi Feature Toolでやる方法もあるらしいけど、こっちはBIOSとか出てきてちょっと面倒。

見る専としては、好きな絵師を全員ブックマークに入れてAnk pixiv Toolでがーっと回収するだけでほとんどの巡回が終わるようになったのでpixivの存在はとてもありがたいのだった。

SNSという面から見ると招かざる客もいいところだなあ。鯖負荷も高いし。でも、便利なものがあれば使ってしまうわ。
