Nikeが提供するオリジナルのスニーカーが作れるサービス。オリジナルと言っても既存のスニーカーを選んでから、パーツごとに選択肢から選ぶ形式。unlockedという仕組みもあって、パーツの選択肢が特殊なもの(蛇柄とか)が増える。unlockedはゲリラで提供されたりするので、いつも行っているわけではないっぽい。
既存のスニーカーから選べると言ってもajシリーズは作れない。
抽選で欲しいのが当たらなかったり、昔出たものをもう一度手に入れたいときに代替として使うらしい。正直マニア向け。
ここら辺は適当。正直nikeがどうやってカテゴライズしてんのかわからねえ。多分使った技術を名前に盛り込んでるっぽいけど、デザイン性とどう整合性とってんのかな？
ソールがリアクトという技術でできているらしい。よくわからないが、履き心地は軽い感じはする。デザインは総じてモダン。
ソールが特徴的。ソール全面がエアーを封止した透明な樹脂になっている。デザインも未来すぎず、古すぎずって感じがして好き。
アッパーがニット生地でできていて、足にフィットする。通気性があって履き心地が良い。冬は寒い。
上記は全てを網羅してないです。上に書いてないので好きなのがあったら好きに書いてくれ。
これにさらにコラボとかが加わるからさらにカオス。off whiteとかsacaiとかundefeatedとか。

この本は訳書でオリジナルの英文ではなんと書かれていたかは調べていない。「小さな大根」や「冷凍焼け」は訳者が考えた日本語の形容矛盾だろう。
もっとないか考えてみた。
「裏表紙」…同じ本を読んでいる同僚に話したら「表紙の表というのは表面と内部という対立を表すもので、裏というのは背面と前面という別の対立を表すものだから、矛盾しないのではないか」と熱っぽく反論された。
