2019年末に始まった「チェンジメーカー・アワード」も、今年で5度目の開催となりました。投票してくださった6,820名の皆様、本当にありがとうございました。

新型コロナが収束して、3年ぶりに制限のない日常を取り戻した2023年。

ウクライナ戦争による物価高の影響で値上げが相次ぎ、7月には、世界の平均気温が観測史上最高値となり、日本各地でも記録的猛暑に。戦争や気候変動などの地球規模の問題を、私たちの生活に直結する問題として実感した方も多かったのではないでしょうか。

物価はどんどん上がるのに、賃金は上がらない……。⁠日々の生活がますます苦しくなる中、インボイス制度開始が目前に迫り、2021年から反対の声をあげ続けていた「#STOPインボイス」の署名活動が一気に加速。日本のオンライン署名最多賛同記録を10万以上上回って56万人を突破し、一大ムーブメントを巻き起こしました。

そして、2023年は、長い時間をかけて手繰り寄せてきた変化が、数多く実った年でもありました。

性犯罪に関する刑法の大幅な改正が実現され、7月から施行へ。2019年に開始された刑法改正を求める署名活動には、14万を超える人が仲間となって声をあげ、改正法の成立を実現する大きな力になりました。神奈川県では、2021年に1人の高校生が始めた署名活動が実を結び、2023年 4月から県内の公立高校全135校で再生エネルギーが導入が導入されました。

自衛隊での性被害を告発し、2022年から公正な調査を求めてオンライン署名を行っていた元自衛官の五ノ井里奈さん。その後も長く訴え続けてきた事実がついに裁判所にも認められ、今年12月12日、被告3人に有罪判決が出ました。

望んだ通りの変化がすぐに起こらなかったとしても。粘り強く活動し続けた先に実現できるという未来を、身を持って私たちに見せてくれました。

米TIME誌の「次世代の100人」にも選ばれた五ノ井さんは、メッセージビデオの中で「みなさんからの応援メッセージに救われた」と語りました。

署名に賛同した1人ひとりの声やコメント欄に書かれたメッセージは、勇気を出して最初に声をあげてくれた人の味方となり、長く険しい道のりを歩み続けていく大きな原動力になります。

そして、集まったたくさんの声は小さな声の拡声器となり、社会が無視できない状況や世論を作り上げてきました。それが決定権を持つ人にとってプレッシャーとなり、たとえ少しずつでも変化を起こすことができたのです。

CODAという映画で、家業の為に主人公が何度も音楽の先生との約束の時間に遅れるんだが、

ちょっとくらいの遅刻を許せる人と1秒も許せない人と世の中にはいるんだなと思い知ったシーンだったもので。

■意味不明でいらつく和製英語「クール タイム」

「Cool down time(冷却時間)」から転じてゲームなどでスキルが再使用可能になるまでの時間を指すんだが

英語圏で「Cool down time」を略す場合は絶対「time」を消して「Cool down」である

意味の上でも「Cool down」+「time」なわけだし、Cool down:5secとか書くと時間であることは明白なので

ところが日本人は重要な意味を持つ単語を消して「クールタイム」なる珍妙な語を生み出した

元の英語に正解が先に存在するのにわざわざ謎の独自性を発揮して意味不明な略語を使う意味がわからない

なんでそんなことするの？頭おかしいの？

■10/10 宇宙 からのスタンカーメンを観る

今日もバイトがなかった。

いつも通り昼過ぎに起きて、名も無き料理を作る。強いて言えば、オートミールのお好み焼き（時々チヂミ）風かな。肉の代わりにたまごが敷いてある。オートミール（そのままだとまずい）は健康意識からではなく、母が送ってきたから仕方なく工夫を凝らして消費しているだけである。最近、野菜が高騰しているため買っておいた１玉100円のキャベツで野菜は補っている。しかしこの創作料理も同居人のいない薄暗いワンルームで食べるとやけに美味しく感じる。

食べ終わって図書館へ向かう。三島由紀夫の仮面の告白を読んだがハマらなかった。日が暮れてきたのでスーパーへ向かう。

帰宅後、豚肉と小松菜炒めとカップ麺、途中小腹が空いたのでテキトウ茶碗蒸しを食べる。いつもの事だけれど上の階の住人の通話が聞こえたので苛立つ。知りたくもない他人の生活が自分のプライベートに入り込んでくるのは本当に不快だ。気を紛らわすため、アマプラでタイトルからいかにもB級臭がする宇宙から来たツタンカーメンを観る。

結論ちっとも面白くなかった。抑揚のないひたすらダラダラした物語の展開に何度も中断しかけたが、上の階の住人の愚痴口調の話し声が耳に入ってくるよりも随分とマシなので観続けた。あーやっと終わるか、と思っていたらラストの詰め込んだような急展開についつい笑ってしまう。だって邦訳タイトルがこのダメ映画の見所の種明かしをしてしまっているから笑（原題はTime Walker）後でレビューを見たら、昔日曜洋画劇場で放映し話題になったらしい。いいなぁ〜私もリアルタイムな世代だったら、次の日学校で友達とこの映画のシュールさで盛り上がっているかもしれない。そういえば、シャワーを浴びているシーンの女優さんに腕毛がしっかり生えていたことが、一番の驚いたかも笑。
