セガサターンで1998年に発売された美少女ゲームと脱出ゲーム(当時こんなジャンル名はなかったかもだ)を組み合わせたアドベンチャーゲームのニンテンドースイッチ移植版を遊んだので感想を書きます。
奇妙な館に閉じ込められた数人の男女が殺傷能力増し増しな仕掛けに挑みながら脱出をはかりつつ、美少女ヒロインとの関係値を築いていく構成。
細かい分岐は無数にあるものの、ヒロイン固有の恋愛的なシナリオは十数クリックで読めてしまう短いボリューム。
縦筋となる、何故この館に閉じ込められたのか、という謎に関するストーリーもかなりあっさりしている。
なので、このゲームの醍醐味は物語というよりは、館の中を探索し、ポイントアンドクリックでのアイテムを探し、複雑なフラグを管理するところにあるのだろう。
主人公とヒロインを生かしつつ脱出するのは、かなり試行錯誤しながらフラグとアイテムの管理をする必要があった。
残念ながら死なないことに精一杯で、全員生存で初めてクリアまでは一人で頑張ったが、以降は攻略サイトに頼りまくってしまった。
ストーリーよりもゲーム性に寄っているタイプのアドベンチャーゲームで、攻略サイト頼りで遊ぶのは邪道なんだけど、悪い意味でタイムパフォーマンスという流行り言葉で自分を納得させてしまった。
そんなわけで用意された内容を100楽しめたとは言い切れないので、ゲーム性やシナリオに関する感想は今回は抑え目にしておく。
なお、イラストレーターが大レジェンド横田守さんということで、ヒロインたちのCGは最高だった。
ニンテンドースイッチで遊べるため当然全年齢向けのゲームなのだけれど、下着が見えるシーンは沢山あるし、下着の向こう側を想像させるイラストやテキストもあるし、ヒロインが積極的にアプローチを仕掛けてくれる魅力さがあいまって、実用性ありありのエッチさだった。
他のヒロインたちはかなり迂闊に下着を見せてくれるのに、この方はなかなかガードが堅い。
しかし、なんとそこには、かなり攻めた設定が隠されていて、大興奮してした。
続編のRevive 〜蘇生〜も是非とも現行機(もうそろそろこの言い回しも使えなくなりそうだなあ)に移植していただきたいなあ。
