塗りつぶし面積で勝敗を競うよりは、既存のMOBA通り相手陣地の奥深くにあるコアを塗りつぶせば勝利というゲームに変更して、インクは自分の進行通路上に塗ればいいようにし、味方への高速移動はインクがそこまで途切れず繋がっていれば可能にすればいいだろう。そうすればがたがた画面を揺らしてプレイすることは少なくなり、細い道でもインクを塗ることに価値がでるような戦略性も広がるだろう。

その上でMOBAのなかなか決着がつかず勝負が長引きがちであることを解消するために制限時間一杯まで決着がつかなければインクの面積で勝敗をつけることにすればいい。

またMOBAでは相手陣地までの間に何箇所か関所があるのが普通だけれど、このゲームならタンクにインクを発射して満タンになれば関所が開く、みたいなことにすればいい感じにおさまる。

ついでに相手陣地の近くまでいくと相手に塗り替えられることのなく、必ず自分色に染められる壁なんかを用意すれば、時間制限ありでも相手陣地まである程度無理して攻め込もうとする理由も出てくる。

どうにも普通のMOBAに比べると基本床にインクを塗るだけというのは単調すぎるのではないかと思ってしまう。

開発者がもちろんここに書いてあるようなことは考慮した上で陣取りゲームにしてるのなら全くもって余計なお世話なのだけれど、

日本でこれほどSplatoonを単純にTPS/FPSと比較して論じて終わりにしている人が多いのを見ると、開発者も同じなのでは、と思ってしまう。

■続・デジタルマガジンに気をつけろ

最初にデジタルマガジンを知ったのは、この記事だった。

GIGAZINEの「iPhoneがソフトバンクから発売される」という記事はただの飛ばし記事の翻訳 | デジタルマガジン

要するに、「原文よく読んだらわかるけど、iPhoneがソフトバンクから発売されるというGIGAZINEの記事は誤報だぞ」ということを書いている。まあご存知のとおりiPhoneはソフトバンクから発売されることになったのだがそんなのは結果論だからどうこう言うつもりはない。むしろ今問題にしたいのは

3G対応iPhoneは6月発表でソフトバンクモバイルから発売か

という東スポチックな疑問系のタイトルの記事に対して、「弱い根拠を隠してる記事。誤報だと表明しろ」と噛み付いてしまうデジタルマガジンの精神の方だ。これは名を上げたいブロガーが良く使う手法、リンクベイトの一種である。この揚げ足取りの記事には、GIGAZINEを扱き下ろし、その位置に自分が取って代わろうという意図が見え隠れする。

確かにGIGAZINEも適当な翻訳をしてたり、根拠を明確にしてなかったりして問題がある。だがそれを批判するデジタルマガジンも似たようなものだ。

これに関連して、デジタルマガジンを批判している人がいる。

デジタルマガジンの「『Battlefield 3』が2008年11月14日に発売！」という記事はただの飛ばし記事の翻訳 :: gerenuk.crazyphoto.org/

上のデジマガの記事とほぼ同じ文体で、デジタルマガジンの記事に噛み付いている。「誤報だと表明しろ」と言っちゃった本人が誤報をした場合どういう対応をするのか、非常に興味があるが今のところ動きはないようだ。デジタルマガジンの誠意ある対応を期待したい。

まったくの別件で、デジタルマガジン著者の性格をうかがい知ることのできるページがある。

WordPress › フォーラム » テキストエディタ：問題なく使えるもの、使ってはいけないもの

digimagaというIDがそれだが、lilyfanという人とやりあっている。このやりとりを見ればわかるとおり、自分の意見が受け入れられなかったり、人に言い負かされるのが大嫌いなようだ。口調も中々強い。その上、この一件にあてつけるように、

という記事まで書いている。たくさんはてブもらって溜飲を下げたと言ったところか。

もうひとつ特徴的なのがこれ。

話がそれましたが、未契約者への民事訴訟。できるもんなら今すぐにでもやって欲しい。NHKのドメインからメールで問い合わせ頂ければ、私の住所もお教えします。未契約者民事訴訟第一号、面白そうじゃないですか。
憲法における契約の自由が正しいか、それとも放送法における受信料支払いの義務が正しいか、このあたりで白黒ハッキリ決着をつけたいと思っています。その決着の主役に自分がなれる。これほど面白そうなことはありません。NHKの担当の方、ぜひデジタルマガジンまでご連絡下さい。

NHKの受信料未払い（もちろん法律違反である）を公言した上で、民事訴訟してみやがれと挑発している。これはこの記事が書かれるおよそ1週間前にニュースになった、白田秀彰の児童ポルノの単純所持宣言、

そこで私は、2001年まで完全に合法であり一般書店で市販されていた「18歳未満の人物の裸の写真が扇情的な様相で掲載されている写真集」を現在一冊保有していることを宣言する。そして、法執行関係者に対しては、児童ポルノの単純所持が違法化された暁には (ほんとうに午前4時とかに来るのは勘弁してほしい。逃げたりはしないから)、他の誰を摘発するよりも先に、拙宅に来るように呼びかけたいと思う。法執行関係者が拙宅の住所を知りたければ、氏名職名を明らかにした上で、 メールアドレス 宛にメールをくだされば返答する。

に良く似ている、というかもろパクリ。ようするに、「デジタルマガジンは皆さんの味方！　権力に歯向かう俺ってカッコイイ！　庶民の視点に立ったニュースサイト！」ということをアピールしたいのだろう。

ここまで読んで、デジタルマガジンがいかに低レベルなニュースサイトなのかわかってもらえたと思う。「オーケーわかった大丈夫、自分はそんなサイトのニュースなんて見ないから」と思っている人もいるかもしれないが、もう少しだけ話に付き合って欲しい。

実はデジタルマガジンは、livedoor ニュースの情報提供元としても知られている。
