基本的にジェンダーギャップは 北欧 ＜ 西欧・北米 ＜ 南欧・東欧 ＜ 東アジア
G7ではフランスが抜けてるが、なぜか Wage equality for similar work だけ異常に低い。
米国は保守的地域とリベラルな地域で大きく違うし、リベラルな地域でも収入によって違ってくると思われる。なんか2016に調査方法が少し変わり、米国の順位が大きく下がったらしい。

ここ最近アメリカは順位を下げていて、2014年に20位、2015年に28位、2016年に45位となっている。 ただし、2016年から評価方法に変更があった。
大事なのは経済。日本の女性は高スキル職、マネジメント職が少ない。それと合わせて高等教育進学者が少ない。
日本は Graduates by Degree Type が調査されてない。ここの3.3高等教育在学者の専攻分野別構成を参考にする。

日本は他の国に比べ人文学部に女性が多く、理学に少ないのが目立つ。ただ理学は人数が少ないし、法経や工学の人数を増やすことの方が重要かもしれない。
あくまで男女比のデータなので実際の人数次第なとこがある。例えばドイツは教育学部の女性率が高いが教育学部の規模自体が他の国よりだいぶ小さい。逆に工学の規模が大きいため女性の割合は少ないが人数としては見た感じよりは多くなるはず。
