うん、大学院まで行って学ぶということを、このような程度にしか捉えられない人間がケチつけちゃダメだね。
最初に書かれた人物評価も怪しいな。
自分の身の回りで発生するあらゆることに責任があるということを自覚することが大人になる、ということ。
職場に「要領が悪い」としか形容できない人がいるんだが、いや、要領が悪いって言葉でも足りないかな、容量が悪くて行動が遅くて頭の回転も遅い、というか考えてる気配がない。
あれ？「要領が悪い」以外にも形容する言葉いっぱいあった（笑）
で、なんでだか知らないけど、25くらいまで高卒で働いてて、それから大学にいって修士まで取ったっていう経歴なの。
そこまでは前から知ってた。
で、今日聞いたことは、卒業したときに30歳を越えた頃500万弱の奨学金という名の借金があったと。
今もまだ200万くらい残ってると。
はぁ･･･、なんでそんなことしたの？
と聞けば
で、この会社給料はいいから実家通いのその人なら500万くらいもう返しおわってそうな気もしたんだけど、

そこそこ裕福な家に生まれた俺がいうと罪悪感があるけれども、奨学金取ってまで大学に行くってどうなの？
医学部に行くとかは別として。
まあ学部まではいいかもしれない。
で、二十代も折り返したときから奨学金で大学、しかも院までってどうなの？
今の仕事でその知識を生かしきれてるような気配もないし。
いくつになっても勉強することは大事だとは思うけれども。

正直そこまでは考えてなかったけど、それはあるような気がするね。
もし経済的な面も含めて自分の行動にきちんと責任とってる12歳がいたら、それは大人と言っていいと俺は思うよ。
周りには歳が若いというだけでブツクサ文句言ってくる(少なくとも体だけは)大人がいっぱいいるだろうけどね。

で、年齢が上がるにつれて

自分で責任を取らざるを得なくなる＝大人にならざるを得ない人が多くなる

大人と子供の違いは年齢とは本当は関係ないんだけれど、周囲が年齢から見るから
結果的に年齢と関係があるように見える、というか
私はシャイだけど、シャイなりにきちんと挨拶するように心がけてるよ。
恥ずかしくて大きな声は出ないけど、笑顔ではっきりと言うようにしてる。
だって、挨拶もろくにできなくて仕事ができるの？って周りに思わせるじゃん。
第一感じ悪いし、自分が挨拶して無視されたりしたらイヤじゃない？イヤな思いさせたくないじゃん。
アメリカだと肥満の人はだらしないと思われるとか言うじゃない。
実際はそうじゃないとしても表面的な印象でイメージがつきやすいのは損だと思う。
雑談に混じれとか、週に1度は飲み会に出ろとか言われたわけじゃなし、「おはようございます」「お先に失礼します」程度が言えないのは、シャイじゃなくて精神病だろ。
