I have just come back from a one month trip to Indonesia. While I was there, Microsoft blocked my access to my hotmail account. They claimed that they had noted that I was using a machine overseas. The only remedy that they offered was to obtain a security code that would be sent to my Australian mobile number. However, my Australian mobile phone does not allow roaming without a large security deposit, so I would not be able to see this security code while I was still overseas.
