hybrideはまんま雑種ですね。元の表現(白熊とヒグマの交雑種)としてはかなり正確。
half-bloodは異母、異父の兄弟姉妹をあらわし、half-bleedはいわゆる混血児をあらわすわけですが、後者は蔑称なので使わないほうがいいでしょう。後者はmixedと表現する事が多いようです。
ということで、Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Princeはどういう邦訳になるのかなー、「ハリーポッターと混血王子」はちょっと出せないだろうなー、ハリーポッターとはんけつ王子くらいかなー、と思ってたら正解はハリーポッターと謎の王子でした。なんだそれ。
