今日は入院している祖母に会いに行く日だ。入院前はもう呆けて風呂も入らないぐらいひどい状態だったが、入院してからはちゃんとしているらしい。
それはそうと、lispでpython環境を構築する話だが、結局オートコンプリートはうざいし、使う機能といったらautopep8とisortぐらいなので、以下を.emacsに組み込んだ。

.emacsファイルには他にも様々な設定を付与したが、ここではコードを書ききれない。
さてそういうわけで週末コーディングが趣味としてちゃんと機能することはわかったが、毎週作るとなると、いくつも何かを作るよりは一つのタフなものを作りたいと思うわけである。
それで、最有力候補は「Elasticsearchのようなものをpythonで実装する」という話がある。
Elasticsearchが徹底された設定外部化によってjsonを多用するのだが、これがあまり柔軟性がないので、コードを直にいじれるようにしたいと思ったためである。
例えば自作の日本語トーカナイザを組み込みたいときElasticsearchプラグインをJavaで書かなければならない。私はJavaが嫌いであり、プラグインを「インストールする」という手順も冗長に感じる。
それよりはpythonで作られた検索システムに、適当なトーカナイズ関数を実装して呼び出すことができればかなり柔軟であるように思うわけである。
難しい点があるとすれば、大規模分散システムへの対応で、金をかけなければそういうシステムをテストすることができない。
できるだけ金をかけずに趣味をやるというのがモットーなので、これではまずいわけである。
まあ何事も困難というものはある。まずは手を動かすことが重要だ。Linus Torvaldsも"Talk is cheap, show me the code"と言っているではないか。

I DM'd Shogo Sakai on Twitter asking about the meter of Strong One recently, and he told me he was thinking of Strong One in terms of additive time signatures: 3/4 + 3/8 + 1/4 + 1.5/4 (spicy!)
It makes sense when you're focusing on the pulses in the combos driving the time signatures by themselves, but it also affirms the idea that Shogo Sakai was thinking about decently "regular"/"clean" meters, and therefore 15/8 and 29/16 kinda fit those conventional vibes.
For even more context by the way, the mp2k/Sappy sound engine -- the engine sent out to GBA devs by Nintendo which was used for Gen. III Pokémon and MOTHER 3 -- has a tempo "resolution" of 2 BPM, meaning the next smallest tempo change above 120 BPM Sappy supports is 122 BPM, not 121 BPM.

いや「有害な男らしさ」を見て「男らしさ=有害」と読むやつがいたらそれは国語力のないバカでしょ
英文法の初学者にありがちな「英語は文法だけできっちり文意を特定できるが日本語は文法が曖昧で文脈に依拠せざるを得ないからクソ」みたいな思考に陥ってるのか知らんが、英語だって文脈次第でいくらでも文法解釈は変わってくる
それにそもそも英語からの直訳をもとにあーだこーだ言うのもおかしい
日本語由来の表現ではないので自然じゃなかったりニュアンス等がズレることはある
…とは思わないが、（他の多くの言語と同じように）注意して使わなければまったくナンセンスな議論を平気で生み出してしまう言語ではある。
自分が最近特に気になっているのが、修飾部の制限用法と非制限用法の無節操な混同である。
これは英語のtoxic masculinityの訳語なので、当然この「有害な」という修飾は制限用法であり、「無害な男らしさ」の存在も暗に示すものである。
しかし、これを日本語にした言葉自体には、非制限用法の解釈もあり得てしまう。再翻訳すれば、"masculinity, which is toxic"（この有害なる男らしさ、とでも再々翻訳しようか）という解釈が可能だということである。
これが、時には無意識に、時には意識的に、日本語の議論を混乱させているのを昨今切に感じる。
「有害な男らしさ」を語る議論は、「男らしさの肯定か否定か」ということではないはずだ。
「何が有害な男らしさで、何が無害な（または有益な）男らしさか」を弁別することであるはずだ。
「有害な男らしさ」の定義なんてしないまま、前者の極論に持っていきたいことが丸見えのくだらない対立論しかメディアにはない。

ここから、ハリウッド映画の「依頼人」を例に、海外では女にも「有益な男らしさ」が求められること、「有益な男らしさ」がなければ誠実に議論する社会はあり得ないという話をしようと思ったが、そんなことはここまで読んで、わかる奴は既にわかってる話だし、わからない奴は何を言ってもわからないだろう。
非論理的な自然言語だからこそ論理的に使うのだという発想が社会になく、学校で教えてもいないから、良い大学を出ても平気でこの程度の基本的な文法事項も注意しないで使う、それどころかそういう詭弁で煙にまくのを賢いとすら思っている「インテリ（瀬川深）」がいっぱいいるような国では、保守もリベラルもないのである。
そして、こんな根本的にその議論の誠実さを証明するようなトピックをもこそこそと避け、あわよくば自分が何を言ってるかも曖昧なまま、反撃されずに気持ちよく他人を叩ければ良いという国民性こそ、日本のすべての凋落の元凶なわけである。
