The polling places should be so numerous as to be within easy reach of every voter, and no expenses of conveyance, at the cost of the candidate, should be tolerated under any pretext. The infirm, and they only on medical certificate, should have the right of claiming suitable carriage conveyance at the cost of the state or of the locality. Hustings, poll clerks, and a ll the necessary machinery of elections, should be at the public charge. Not only the candidate should not be required, he should not be permitted to incur any but a limited and trifling expense for his election. Mr. Hare thinks it desirable that a sum of £50 should be required from every one who places his name on the list of candidat es, to prevent persons who have no chance of success, and no real intention of attempting it, from becoming candidat es in wantonness or from mere love of notoriety, and perhaps carrying off a few votes which are needed for the return of more serious aspirants. There is one expense which a candidate or his supporters can not help incurring, and which it can hardly be expected that the public should defray for every one who may choose to demand it—that of making his claims known to the electors, by advertisements, placards, and circulars. For all necessary expenses of this kind the £50 proposed by Mr. Hare, if allowed to be drawn upon for these purposes (it might be made £100 if requis ite), ought to be sufficient. If the friends of the candidate choose to go to expense for committees and canvassing, there are no means of preventing them; but such expenses out of the candidat es's own pocket, or any expenses whatever beyond the deposit of £50 (or £100), should be illegal and punishable. If there appeared any likelihood that opinion would refuse to connive at falsehood, a declaration on oath or honor should be required from every member, on taking his seat, that he had not expended, nor would expend, money or money's worth beyond the £50, directly or indirectly, for the purposes of his election; and if the assertion were proved to be false or the pledge to have been broken, he should be liable to the penalties of perjury. It is probable that those penalties, by showing that the Legislature was in earnest, would turn the course of opinion in the same direction, and would hinder it from regarding, as has hitherto done, this most serious crime against society as a venial peccadillo. When once this effect has been produced, there need be no doubt that the declaration on oath or honor would be considered binding. They know that they can rely on the fellow-feeling of one of their class with another, while the subservience of nouveaux enrichis who are knocking at the door of the class is a still surer reliance; and that nothing very hostile to the class interests or feelings of the rich need be apprehended under the most democratic suffrage, as long as democratic persons can be prevented from being elected to Parliament. But, even from their own point of view, this balancing of evil by evil, instead of combining good with good, is a wretched policy. The object should be to bring together the best members of both class es, under such a tenure as shall induce them to lay aside their class preferences, and pursue jointly the path traced by the common interest, instead of allowing the class feelings of the Many to have full swing in the constituencies, subject to the impediment of having to act through persons imbued with the class feelings of the Few.

ニンテンドースイッチのゲーム50本遊んで感想書いたのでまとめ(48〜50)

科学アドベンチャーゲームシリーズの第6とか5とか7ぐらいの作品。(結局オカルティックナインはシリーズでいいの？　シュタゲゼロとかロボノダッシュはどう数えるの？　みたいな？)

発表から発売までかなり間があったためハードルが爆上がりしてしまっており、そのせいでボリュームの薄さにがっかりしてしまった。

とはいえ面白いところもたくさんあり、ゲームシステムに介入してくるシナリオは楽しいし、男女色々なキャラが魅力的で良い意味で美少女ゲームらしくない部分は健在。

特にお風呂に入らず体臭を香水で誤魔化している40代女性のJUNOさんは是非ともスピンオフでイチャイチャするお話が欲しい。(香水を付けすぎているという描写があるだけで、お風呂に入っているか否かは明言されてません)

DESIRE remaster ver.

記者の男主人公と研究家の女主人公の二人の視点のマルチサイトなストーリー。

サイエンスフィクションな後半の展開はかなり面白いものの、序盤から中盤にかけては延々と恋の鞘当てが続き、そこにあまり興味が持てないと辛い展開。

元が18禁ゲームなのの全年齢移植の際に、セックスが上手なキャラがそのテクニックで寝取ることを、催眠術で操るに置き換えたような展開は剛腕がすぎる。

EVE ghost enemiesと密接な関係にあり、そちらを遊ぶ前にプレイした方が楽しめる。

春ゆきてレトロチカ

テキストではなく実写映像が主のアドベンチャーゲーム。

過去の殺人事件と現在の殺人事件が交差していく連作のスタイルでボリュームも多く、実写映像だからこその仕掛けもあったりして、贅沢な作り。

ただ後半のとある章だけが露骨に浮いていてすごくしっくりこないのが残念。

所謂「謎解き」を僕があまり好きじゃないだけかもだけど、近似のジャンルだけにすれ違いがもどかしかった。

I see that among men all things depend upon three wants and desires, of which the end is virtue, if they are rightly led by them, or the opposite if wrongly. Now these are eating and drinking, which begin at birth—every animal has a natural desire for them, and is violently excited, and rebels against him who says that he must not sat isfy all his pleasures and appetites, and get rid of all the corresponding pains—and the third and greatest and sharpest want and desire breaks out last, and is the fire of sexual lust, which kindles in men every species of wantonness and madness.

私は、人間のあいだではすべてのことが三つの欲望に依拠していると見ています。それらは、正しく導かれれば徳であり、誤って導かれればその反対となります。まずは「食欲」と「飲欲」であり、これらは生まれたときから始まります。あらゆる動物が自然とその二つの欲望を備え、激しく興奮させられ、己の快楽や食欲を満たしてはいけないと言う者に逆らい、付随する苦痛からは逃れようとします。そして第三の、最も強く鋭い欲望が、最後に噴き出します。それは人々のあらゆる種類の淫気と狂気を燃え上がらせる「性欲」の炎です。

『翻訳名義集』は中国・南宋時代に編纂された仏教系の書物。もちろん日本にも伝わっている。というかこの組み合わせが現在のスタンダードである。

貝原益軒『養生訓』（1713年）

いにしへの人三慾を忍ぶ事をいへり。三慾とは、飲食の欲、色の欲、睡の欲なり。

『養生訓』は江戸時代の大ベストセラー。貝原益軒は儒学者だが、この組み合わせは仏教の「三欲」と同じなので、「いにしへの人」というのは僧侶のことなのか。三欲を「抑えるべきもの」と捉えているのも仏教的である。「睡眠を減らすと健康になる」みたいなことも言っている。

○ご飯

朝：納豆たまごかけご飯。キュウリ。トマト。チーズ。昼：胡麻タレ団子。ウイロウ。夜：豆腐、白菜、シメジを煮て味噌付けて食うやつ。

○調子

むきゅーはややー。お仕事はおやすみ。

今日はDESIREというゲームを遊んだ。

というのも、最近 EVEというシリーズにハマっていて、一作目のバーストエラーのライターさんの過去作品、EVEの最新作におまけでついてくるらしい。

なら最新作を買ってそのオマケで遊べば良いのでは？　と思ったんだけど、どうもクリア後にしか遊べないみたい。

こういうの、発売年順にやりたいのでお金は余分にかかるものの個別で購入して遊んだぜ。

っていうか、シリーズ違うのにわざわざオマケでつけるってことはクロスオーバーするんだろうから先に遊んだほうが良いでしょ。

○DESIRE remaster ver.

クリアしたので感想を書くぜ。

記者のアルバートと研究員のマコトの男女カップル二人が主人公。

二つの視点からデザイアという島で行われている研究の謎を解き明かすという粗筋。

面白い／面白くないの前に

「催眠術ってそんな便利なものじゃなくない！？」が気になって話に集中できなかった。

というのも、このゲーム、粗筋で書いた研究の謎というのは後半一気に回収される要素。

前半と中盤はアルバートとマコトのカップルとそれらを取り巻く、メガネ色黒研究員のシャリル、男勝りな性格ながら巨乳のシルビア、マコトの親友でセックスもアリなバイセクシャルのレイコ、男大好きなビッチのクリス、研究所のスポンサーの偉い人の孫娘でツンケンな態度をとるカズミという、そんな魅力的なサブヒロイン達、そして件の催眠術使いカイルという男性たちが中心のくっ付いたり離れたりの恋の鞘当てがメインになっている。

その中でも抜群の存在感を誇るのが催眠術使いのカイル。

武術に長けて空手などの格闘技の段を累計12段持っている筋肉ムキムキの男性なのだけど、得意技が催眠術。

それもベタな5円玉揺らすやつ。(5円玉ではなく架空の国の硬貨だが、まあ5円玉だよ)

この催眠術で主人公のアルバートから女性をNTR展開が話をかき乱す。

い、いや、なんだこの展開…… と流石に気持ちを込めて読むのが辛かった。

というのも、どうも原作である 18禁アダルトゲームの頃は純粋なセックスのテクニックで女性を籠絡していたのを、全年齢ゲームへ移植するにあたってストーリーを変えるために催眠術使いという設定が生えたらしい。

流石に無理がある。

まあ、正直この恋の鞘当てパートは、お話の主題としてもあまり重要じゃなく、要するにアダルトゲームでの濡れ場を用意するための部分で、ストーリー的には無くて通じる。

そんなエッチなパートを乗り越えてから展開される「螺旋」に関する物語の主題は、流石に文量が不足していて乗り切れなかった。

面白いが、流石に説明が不足しすぎている。

SF ガジェットの中ではベタ中のベタ、王道中の王道のアレが登場するのだが、流石に「人間のDNAを研究」しているという前振りからそれは無理がありすぎる。

SF ガジェットについては得意な設定により通常より登場人物の気持ちをより重く強いものにする効果としてあればよく、理屈はどうでも良いといえばどうでもいい。

けれど、要するにこのゲームのメインがあるキャラが過酷な螺旋の運命の中でも主人公のアルバートを好きな気持ちこそが重要なんだと思った。

思ったけど、それにしては、前半と中盤のやたらめったら女性に手を出すヤリチン主人公をどうして好きなのかが上手く汲み取れなかった。

総じて、SF ガジェット要素はYU-NOへ、男女二人主人公体制はEVEへと、それぞれの名作へ引き継がれていく菅野ひろゆきの原点ではあるものの、荒削りも荒削りな不揃いなクオリティだったと思う。(YU-NO 遊んだことないから適当書くけど)

The staff for the live-action sequel film based on Aoi Hiiragi's Whisper of the Heart (Mimi o Sumaseba) manga posted a new video on Thursday. 紙芝居でも遊べるのはやはりテキストの面白さがあるからだなとすごく感じました

けどもDESIRE同梱らしくてすげー太っ腹だなあと

正直バーストエラーほとんど忘れちゃったからリバーステラーいまさらやって大丈夫かなという感じもありますが

ただゲーム日記さんの場合、リバーステラーを続けてやるにはマンネリでどうしても飽きちゃいそうな感じはします＾＾；

■小泉今日子の良さが今ひとつわからない

テレビで小泉今日子の特集を見たけど、昔からその良さが正直今ひとつわからなかった。

松田聖子は歌唱力や曲が素晴らしいと思うし、中森明菜の自分の身を削るようなステージパフォーマンスは現在見ても凄い（明菜のDESIREはマジでヤバい）。

小泉今日子はこの二人に並ぶ80年代アイドルのはずなんだけど、良さがよくわからない。確かに顔立ちはきれいだけど、歌は小ぎれいにまとまっているものばかりで、繰り返し聴いてみようという中毒性は全くない。

「アイドルの概念を変えた」というのも、アイドル史研究として面白い対象ということではあっても、小泉今日子の魅力ではない。そして、当時「最先端」だったものの宿命だが、今見ると余計に古さを感じる。

聖子や明菜が、その自我と個性の強さから様々なトラブルやスキャンダルを免れなかったのに対して、小泉今日子がそうした地雷を慎重に踏まずに、いつのまにか俳優業に転身して芸能界を器用に渡り歩いて生き残っているのも、あまり興味を持てない理由の一つ。小泉今日子の何が魅力なのか、同世代の50代の人たちに聞きたい。

With us on board, the EU will definitely be stronger. Without you, Ukraine will be lonely. We have proven our strength, that we are at least the same as you. Prove that you’re with us. Prove that you are not giving up on us, prove that you’re truly Europeans, and then life will beat death, and light will beat darkness.

I have no parents. No money, either nor do I have any hobbies, friends, or goals for the future. But my days of nothingness have changed just a little. Was it because I came across my Cub?
