I think career planning is not essential for a successful work life especially for woman. I would like to show example in Japan.
In Japan usually woman starts their carrier after graduated from the university. I saw statistics shows that woman’s salary starts from 1 to 3 million yen in the biggening. The peak of the salary will be around the age of 25 as 5 to 6 million yen. After that it will drop harshly to 100 million to 0 yen. Why we have this huge drop?
The reason is that most of Japanese woman retire after their marriage called “Hanayome Taisha” and some of them will be housewives, that means no longer to continue their carrier. However, these days it is very hard to live rely on man’s income to live in metropolis. Some of woman start working as a part timer to take care of their children while husband works fulltime and this makes woman not to be able to paid well. The statics shows that woman’s carrier restart between 30 to 35 years old but the salary will not be the peak like their 20s anymore. From these statistics, I think woman’s carrier depends on what kind of lifestyle they want.

I think career planning is not essential for a successful work life, especially for women. I would like to provide an example from Japan.
In Japan, women usually start their careers after graduating from university. Statistics show that women's salaries start from 1 to 3 million yen at the beginning. The peak of their salary is typically around the age of 25, ranging from 5 to 6 million yen. However, after that, it drops sharply to 100 million to 0 yen. Why do we see this huge drop?
The reason is that most Japanese women retire after getting married, a phenomenon called "Hanayome Taisha," and some become housewives, meaning they no longer pursue their careers. However, these days it is very hard to rely solely on a man's income to live in a metropolis. Some women start working as part-timers to take care of their children while their husbands work full-time, which results in women not being paid well. Statistics show that women's careers restart between 30 and 35 years old, but the salary is not at its peak like in their 20s anymore. From these statistics, I believe a woman's career depends on the kind of lifestyle they want.

why you use women ? I used woman.

I used "women" instead of "woman" because your original text seemed to refer to women in general, rather than a specific individual. When discussing women as a group, it's more common to use the plural form. However, if you prefer to use "woman" to refer to women in general, I can adjust the text accordingly.

improveとimprove onの違い
He improved the design of the car.
He improved on the design.

直説法(knows):He looks as if he knows the answer. (he knows the answer)
仮定法(knew):He looks as if he knew the answer. (he gives the impression that he knows the answer, but he (probably) doesn't know or we don't know whether he knows or not)
He looked as if he knew the answer.
He seems as if he hasn't slept for days. (he hasn't slept for days)
He seems as if he hadn't slept for days. (it seems that he hasn't slept for days, but he (probably) has or we don't know whether he has or not)

"How the euro helped Germany avoid becoming Japan" Matin Wolf, Financial Times, OCTOBER 30 2019
"What would have happened if the German economy had not been sheltered by the eurozone? The Deutschemark would surely have appreciated hugely, this time in a low-inflation world. That would have pushed German domestic inflation below zero, damaged the profitability and performance of exports and inflicted losses on German financial institutions, with their huge foreign assets. It would have made it impossible to preserve strongly positive nominal interest rates and probably impossible to avoid persistent fiscal deficits, too. In brief, the eurozone protected Germany from becoming another Japan. Germans should be thankful for what the euro has given them, praise Mario Draghi, outgoing ECB president, for his brave decisions to save the system from calamity and hope his successor Christine Lagarde will follow suit."

]]>Meet The Healthy, Functioning Man Who Survived With Almost No Brain. | IFLScience
https://www.iflscience.com/man-tiny-brain-lived-normal-life-31083
When it comes to our brains, does size really matter? One of the biggest myths about the brain is that bigger is always better. But what about those who sit on the extreme end of that scale? How much of our brain do we actually need to survive? Looking through the archives of medical history, there are a number of people with tiny brains, or brains with huge chunks missing entirely, which defy all odds.
In a 2007 Lancet study, doctors described an incredible medical oddity – the 44-year-old civil servant who had lived a normal life despite having an incredibly tiny brain. The French man went into hospital after he experienced weakness in his left leg for two weeks. Doctors were quite surprised when they took scans of his brain and found a huge fluid-filled chamber.
The scans showed that the man had a “massive enlargement of the lateral, third, and fourth ventricles, a very thin cortical mantle and a posterior fossa cyst,” researchers noted in the study. In short, while fluid normally circulates throughout the brain, it’s regularly drained. But instead of draining the fluid into the circulatory system, the fluid in this man’s brain built up. Eventually, the accumulation of fluid resulted in only a tiny amount of actual brain material.
The man’s medical history showed that he had to get a shunt inserted into his head as an infant to get rid of the buildup of fluid on the brain, known as hydrocephalus. The shunt was eventually removed when at age 14, he complained of left leg weakness and some unsteadiness. The man went on to live a normal life and he got married and had two children. Tests showed that he had an IQ of 75 which, though below the average of 100, is not considered a mental disability.
“What I find amazing to this day is how the brain can deal with something which you think should not be compatible with life,” Dr. Max Muenke, from the National Human Genome Research Institute, told Reuters.
Earlier last year, IFLScience reported on the ninth known case of someone living without a cerebellum. This is the part of the brain that controls a number of important functions such as balance, motor movements and motor learning. The 24-year-old Chinese woman went into a hospital complaining of nausea and vertigo, and doctors discovered that she suffered from a rare condition known as cerebellar agenesis.
In another case, 12-year-old Trevor Judge Waltrip shocked medical professionals when he survived as long as he did with only his brain stem. Trevor passed away last year after going his entire life without a brain. He suffered from a rare condition called hydranencephaly, whereby the cerebral hemispheres are replaced entirely with cerebrospinal fluid. People with hydranencephaly usually survive for up to 12 weeks, which made Trevor’s case so remarkable. He was able to breathe on his own and respond to stimuli, but was blind and unable to communicate.
These cases show not only the adaptability and resilience of the human brain, but also how little we know about one of our most important organs. Cases like this force neuroscientists to rethink how we view the brain, particularly what functions different regions have and how the brain adapts when these regions become damaged.

TIL Prettier is considering making tabs the default in 3.0. This is huge — it would make an entire set of programming languages more accessible (if you're somehow still pro-spaces, read this comment to instantly convert), and, more importantly, vindicate my personal preferences

"He carries on his right calf a huge knife ... and on his left calf four spare blades. The Spetsnaz knife is no ordinary knife. It has a powerful spring in it so that when you remove the safety catch and press the release button the knife blade shoots out with a terrible hiss ... the blade can carry 25 meters. At tonight’s opener, the organizers used the music of Koichi Sugiyama, a notoriously homophobic and ultranationalist Japanese composer—despite warnings that it might go over very badly.
He’s denied the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese troops in the late 1930s. He has stated that the Korean women who were working as sexual slaves to the Japanese empire were actually happy-go-lucky prostitutes. He’s a misogynist who does not believe in the equality of the sexes, and a homophobe who doesn’t believe children should be taught about homosexuality or that LGBTQ people should receive government support as “they don’t produce children.”

Stardew Valley Expanded!
This mod features 26 new locations, 160 new character events, 12 new NPCs, a new village, 800 location messages, reimagined maps and festivals (all maps), a huge remastered farm map, a new world map reflecting all changes, and many miscellaneous additions
But the problem with memories is that we'll never experience that world for the first time again.
I aim to give you, the player, that sense of adventure and unknown once more. Through this mod, I want to immerse you in the world ConcernedApe created.
