中国人の甥が中学生で、中国人の義理の妹が公立小学校の先生をしている。
中国にもたくさん中国人の友人、知り合いがいて、毎日のように現地の教育現場の様子について知ることができる。
上記リンクの投稿にも書かせていただいたが、中国人の義務教育課程はとにかく徹底的な詰込み教育で公的な授業時間は日本よりも長い。
また宿題が大量に課せらえるので、それを終わらせるだけでも手一杯な状態が中学卒業まで続く。
こういった話題になるといつもスポットにあたるのは子供の方で、中国人の間でもこういった子供への過度な教育に疑問を持つ人は少なくない。
しかし冷静に考えるとこういった教育現場を支えているのは紛れもなく学校の先生たちであり、当然先生たちの負担も大きなものになっている。
中国はSNSが非常に浸透している国だと思う。どのくらい浸透しているのかと言うと、チャットツールのWeChatは老若男女問わず、スマホを持っていさせすればほぼ確実にアカウントを持っており、日常的な連絡からオンライン決算などにも頻繁に使われ社会インフラ化している。
アリババが開発運営する釘釘（Ding Ding）と呼ばれるアプリがあるが、公立学校からは全てこのアプリを各家庭にダウンロードして登録するように言われる。
アプリに登録すると子供が所属するクラスのグループにアサインされ、そこでクラスあるいは学校全体のお知らせなどが共有される。
ざっくり言うと、MicrosoftのTeamsのようなソフトウェアなのだが、学校の運営に特化した様々な機能が備わっている。下記に主な機能を紹介すると、
ざっと色々と釘釘（Ding Ding）について書いたが、学校の先生はまずこのアプリを使いこなせなければならない。
また先生への連絡もDing Ding上のチャット、場合によってはビデオチャット通話で連絡をとることもある。
中国の甥も最近天候の影響でオンライン授業が行われているのだが、国語の難易度の高い宿題が出された時、夜8時、9時くらいでも先生から連絡があり、その進捗を確認されたとのことだった。
甥のクラスは大体45人なので、優秀な生徒は簡単に済ませるにしても、直接連絡による進捗把握は先生にとってもかなり大きな負担だ。
天候によるオンライン切り替えは、当日の早朝早い時間、あるいは前日の遅い時間帯に学校から先生へ通達されるので、その対応力も問われる。
冒頭に書いた義理の妹は小学校の先生だが、帰宅後もDing Dingでオンライン上で生徒とその保護者と繋がりっぱなしなので、休まる時間がないとぼやき、実際、夜何時になってもお構いなしに保護者から連絡が来る。
そして深夜になってようやく当日の小テストの採点が終わったと喜ぶ。
中国は小学校から各科目専門の先生が配置されており、これは日本と比べても素晴らしいことだと思う。
中国には、師範大学と呼ばれる、教員養成専門の大学が各省にあり、そこの大学を卒業、教員資格をとって始めて教師となれる。
若い世代の先生であれば、Ding Dingを使いこなすのは難しくはないが、シニアの先生たちは難しいとは言いながらも使いこなせていて（少なくともオンライン授業は全く問題なし）すごいなと思う。
