(1) 日本語の「リャ・リュ・リョ」がそもそも英語に存在しない問題

『舌を巻く"R"の発音で「リャ・リュ・リョ」は物理的に発音できない』ために英語に存在しないんですが、

だからそれはでたらめ。ロシア語では「ряа（=[rya]）」･･･などの表記と音が存在する。物理的に 発音できないなどということはありえない。「英語では物理的に発音できない」という主張だとしても「なんで言語によって物理法則が変わるんだ」ということになるから、その問題提起はあきらかにおかしい。また、だとすると「日本語では平安時代は物理的に"ぴゃ"という発音はできなかった」という意味のわからない主張が正しいことになる。

そもそも、

• 物理的（音声学的）に「rya」が存在しない

ということと

• 英語の音韻論的に「rya」が存在しない

ということは同じではない。

英語ネイティブの人でも気づかないだけで[rya]という音は発声している。ただ、それが音韻として用いられていなかったり、あるいは弁別性を有しなかったりするだけ。あなたの言っていることはそもそも文字と音声言語を混同してるんだよ。

そもそも「ラリルレロ」は"L"か？"R"か？"L"の方が近いのでは？

つまり、コンテキストによって r や l どころかまったく違う音になっている。話者は音韻として「ら行」に分類しているだけ。ここ、ブクマでもトラバでも「おれ英語知ってるしー。ら行はRじゃないよねー」とか物知り顔で言ってる人多いが恥ずかしいだけだぞ。

「リャ・リュ・リョ」の英語表記において、"L"か"R"の２択でなぜ"Rya,Ryu,Ryo"が発音できない"R"を選んだのか？

「ローマ字表記」は「英語表記」ではありません。

ローマ字表記はラテン文字圏向けに26文字のアルファベットで日本語を表記する方法として考え出されたものです。英語表記するためのものではないです（なお「ラテン語表記」でもないです。いまの時代ラテン語で新語の表記なんかできるかボケ）。

「そんなの細かい違いでしょ」と言い出しそうだが大問題。たとえば国語表記にアルファベットを使っているベトナム語も「英語表記なんだから英語の発音を考慮せよ」ということになってしまう。

こんなんね。「えー！　アルファベットじゃないじゃーん！」とか不平言ってもダメ。これはアルファベットにダイアクリティカルマーク足してるだけ。ダイアクリティカルマークをアルファベットじゃないと言い出すとウムラウト打ってるöドイツ語もアルファベット使ってないということになる。

英語でしかものごと考えないくせついてるからそういう変な発想になるのよ。

ここも若干厄介な問題が絡んでいて、英語とは"value"を「バリュー」と読むくせに"Lue"は「ルー」と読む言語なんですね。

すなわち、表記と読みが一対一対応していない、ということです。

それも間違いです。英語の表記は「その単語が英語文化に移入された時点では表記と読みが一致していた」んです。ただ、英語の場合はノルマンコンケストとかいろいろな文化の交流があったせいでさまざまな表記が残ってしまった。結果として音声・表記不一致になっているように見えるだけ。実際には歴史的背景を知っていればスペリングから発音を推定できるようになっています。中学か高校でちゃんと習ってるはずだけどhttp://bit.ly/2eRDbuy:ノルマンコンケスト]についてはWikipediaでも読んで。

ただし、"Rya,Ryu,Ryo"だと読みを慣例化していく以前に、「原理的に発音できない問題」が出てしまい、不適切だと思います。

うん。だから誰にとって「原理的に発音できない」のか明らかにして。

(3) 日本語の「ラリルレロ」ってそもそも"L"なのか問題

この件に関しては私が無知であり、"R"よりも"L"の方が日本語に近いと勘違いしていました。

音声学だったり色んな経緯があって"R"になったようですね。

先にも書きましたがLでもRでもありません。また、音声学的背景で決まったものでもありません。そもそも /l/ と /r/ は「流音」と言って似たような音の仲間です。

ヨーロッパのことばの中でも「単語の中の-rolor-って部分、時代が移り変わるうちに -lorol- って間違って巷間に流布しちゃった。ﾃﾍﾍﾟﾛ」などということがふつうにあるレベルです（ポルトガル語や中世ロシア語の流音交替現象など）。「日本人は発音しわけられないし聞き分けられないんだよねーﾌﾟﾌﾟ」という指摘がよくなされますか、広い視野で見ると「そんなに変わらない音」なんです。

だからローマ字で L と R どちらを採用したかは「気分で決めた」以上のなにものでもないです。

(4) そもそもローマ字って英語じゃなくて日本語じゃね問題

本当にそうだと思います。

まぁ、どうせ英語のネイティブスピーカーが読む可能性があるのなら、読みやすくて発音が近い方がいいじゃないですか。

なるほど。ではお聞きしますが、

• 日本語の促音便は英語ネイティブには発音しづらいと思いますが、どう表記すべきですか？　それとも日本語から促音便をなくしますか？
• ローマ字で長音はどう表記すればいいですか？
• ローマ字で二重母音はどう表記すればいいですか？
• ブクマでもボケてるやつがいたが中国語のローマ字表記にあたる「ピンイン」は英語のネイティブスピーカーに読めるんでしょうか。「mā　　má　　mǎ　　mà」は？

O Wonder Woman, która zgodnie z obietnicami zadebiutowała w tym filmie mogę w sumie napisać tylko tyle, że… do tej roli wybrano świetną aktorkę. Przynajmniej z wyglądu, bo po tych strzępkach dialogów, które pojawiają sie na ekranie z jej udziałem ciężko się zorientować kim właściwie jest ta pani, która w pewnym momencie pojawia się z tarczą i mieczem u boku Supermana i Batmana.

■助けて！甘い梅干しが大量に

いただきものなので文句は言えねーけど、なぜ1ヶ月の間に同じもん2パック送ってくるんや…。

蜂蜜漬けってーの？デッカくて柔らかい梅干し。「わけありの高級品」らしい。Nam-ko-bai.

たしかに美味いんだけど、メシに合うかと言われると微妙だし、そんなに単体でバックバク食うもんでもねぇし…。

イワシと煮たり叩いてきゅうりと和えたり頑張って使ってるんだが、料理には甘味とフルーティな香りが邪魔で困ってます。

なんかいいアイデアないかの。増田諸賢ボスケテ。
