It is usually sa id of someone in authority (teacher, boss, cop) or of equal rank (coworker).

ブロックチェーンで決済用の電子マネーを実現するとなると、取引所はどうするのだろうかとか、円ペッグするのだろうか、業態やライセンスはどうするのだろうかとか色々気になることがあるのだか、Palette Tokenにはそのような要素が見当たらない。色々調べてみたところ、この資料に答えがあった。

↪︎The Bush administration is again committing a blunder in the Middle East by supporting the Israeli government in its refusal to recognise a Palestinian unity government that includes Hamas. This precludes any progress towards a peace settlement at a time when such progress could help avert conflagration in the great er Middle East.

The US and Israel seek to deal only with Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian Authority president. They hope new elections would deny Hamas the majority it has in the Palestinian legislative council. This is a hopeless strategy, because Hamas would boycott early elections and, even if their outcome resulted in Hamas’s exclusion from the government, no peace agreement would hold without Hamas support.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is pursing a different path. In a February summit in Mecca between Mr Abbas and the Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal, the Saudi government worked out an agreement between Hamas and Fatah, which have been clashing violently, to form a national unity government. Hamas agreed “to respect international resolutions and the agreements [with Israel] signed by the Palestinian Liber ation Organis ation”, including the Oslo accords. The Saudis view this accord as the prelude to the offer of a peace settlement with Israel, to be guaranteed by Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries. But no progress is possible as long as the Bush administration and Ehud Olmert’s Israeli government refuse to recognise a unity government that includes Hamas.

Many causes of the current impasse go back to the decision by Ariel Sharon, former Israeli prime minister, to withdraw from the Gaza Strip unilat erally, without negotiating with the then Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority. This contributed to Hamas’s electoral victory. Then Israel, with strong US backing, refused to recognise the democratically elected Hamas government and withheld payment of the millions in taxes collected by the Israelis on its behalf. This caused economic hardship and undermined the government’s ability to function. But it did not reduce support for Hamas among Palestinians and it reinforced the position of Islamic and other extremists who oppose negotiations with Israel. The situation deteriorated to the point where Palestine no longer had an authority with which Israel could negotiate.

This is a blunder, because Hamas is not monolithic. Its inner structure is little known to outsiders but, according to some reports, it has a military wing, largely directed from Damascus and beholden to its Syrian and Iranian sponsors, and a political wing that is more responsive to the needs of the Palestinian population that elected it. If Israel had accepted the results of the election, that might have strengthened the more moder ate political wing. Unfortunately, the ideology of the “war on terror” does not permit such subtle distinctions. Nevertheless, subsequent events provided some grounds for believing that Hamas has been divided between its different tendencies.

No soon er had Hamas agreed to enter into a government of national unity than the military wing engineered the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier, which prevented such a government from being formed by provoking a heavy-handed Israeli military response. Hizbollah used the opportunity to stage an incursion from Lebanon, kidnapping more Israeli soldiers. Despite a disproportion ate response by Israel, Hizbollah stood its ground, gaining the admiration of the Arab masses, whether Sunni or Shia. It was this dangerous state of affairs – including the breakdown of government in Palestine and fighting between Fatah and Hamas – that prompted the Saudi initiative.

Defenders of the current policy argue that Israel cannot afford to negotiate from a position of weakness. But Israel’s position is unlikely to improve as long as it pursues its current course. Military escalation – not just an eye for an eye but roughly 10 Palestinian lives for every Israeli one – has reached its limit. After the Israeli Defence Force’s retaliation against Lebanon’s road system, airport and other infrastructure one must wonder what could be the next step. Iran poses a more potent danger to Israel than either Hamas or Hizbollah, which are Iran’s clients. There is growing danger of a regional conflagration in which Israel and the US could be on the losing side. With Hizbollah’s ability to withstand the Israeli onslaught and the rise of Iran as a prospective nuclear power, Israel’s existence is more seriously endangered than at any time since its birth.

Both Israel and the US seem frozen in their unwillingness to negotiate with a Palestinian Authority that includes Hamas. The sticking-point is Hamas’s unwillingness to recognise the ex istence of Israel, but that could be made a condition for an eventual settlement rather than a precondition for negotiations. Demonstrating military superiority is not sufficient as a policy for dealing with the Palestinian problem. There is now the chance of a political solution with Hamas brought on board by Saudi Arabia. It would be tragic to miss out on that prospect because the Bush administration is mired in the ideology of the war on terror.

The Sacrament—and the Sacrifice

I pray for your faith and prayers that my utterances will be received and understood “by the Spirit of truth” and that my expressions will be given “by the Spirit of truth” so that we might all be “edified and rejoice together.” (See D&C 50:21–22.)

As I stand here today—a well man—words of grat itude and acknowledgment of divine intervention are so very inadequate in expressing the feelings in my soul.

Six months ago at the April general conference, I was excused from speaking as I was convalescing from a serious operation. My life has been spared, and I now have the pleasant opportunity of acknowledging the blessings, comfort, and ready aid of my Brethren in the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve, and other wonderful associates and friends to whom I owe so much and who surrounded my dear wife, Ruby, and my family with their time, attention, and prayers. For the inspired doctors and thoughtful nurses I express my deepest grat itude, and for the thoughtful letters and messages of faith and hope received from many places in the world, many expressing, “You have been in our prayers” or “We have been asking our Heavenly Fat her to spare your life.” Your prayers and mine, thankfully, have been answered.

One unusual card caused me to ponder upon the majesty of it all. It is an original painting by Arta Romney Ballif of the heavens at night with its myriad golden stars. Her caption, taken from Psalms, reads:

“Praise ye the Lord: …

“He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.

“… His understanding is infinite.” (Ps. 147:1, 3–5.)

As I lay in the hospital bed, I medit ated on all that had happened to me and studied the contemplative painting by President Marion G. Romne y’s sister and the lines from Psalms: “He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.” I was then—and continue to be—awed by the goodness and majesty of the Creator, who knows not only the names of the stars but knows your name and my name—each of us as His sons and daughters.

The psalmist, David, wrote:

“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? …

“For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.” (Ps. 8:3–5.)

To be remembered is a wonderful thing.

The evening of my health cris is, I knew something very serious had happened to me. Events happened so swiftly—the pain striking with such intensity, my dear Ruby phoning the doctor and our family, and I on my knees leaning over the bathtub for support and some comfort and hoped relief from the pain. I was pleading to my Heavenly Fat her to spare my life a while longer to give me a little more time to do His work, if it was His will.

While still praying, I began to lose consciousness. The siren of the paramedic truck was the last that I remembered before unconsciousness overtook me, which would last for the next several days.

The terrible pain and commotion of people ceased. I was now in a calm, peaceful setting; all was serene and quiet. I was conscious of two persons in the distance on a hillside, one standing on a higher level than the other. Detailed features were not discernible. The person on the higher level was pointing to something I could not see.

I heard no voices but was conscious of being in a holy presence and atmosphere. During the hours and days that followed, there was impressed again and again upon my mind the eternal mission and exalted position of the Son of Man. I wit ness to you that He is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, Savior to all, Redeemer of all mankind, Bestower of infinite love, mercy, and forgiveness, the Light and Life of the world. I knew this truth before—I had never doubted nor wondered. But now I knew, because of the impressions of the Spirit upon my heart and soul, these divine truths in a most unusual way.

I was shown a panoramic view of His earthly ministry: His baptism, His teaching, His healing the sick and lame, the mock trial, His crucifixion, His resurrection and ascension. There followed scenes of His earthly ministry to my mind in impressive detail, confirming scriptural eyewit ness accounts. I was being taught, and the eyes of my understanding were opened by the Holy Spirit of God so as to behold many things.

The first scene was of the Savior and His Apostles in the upper chamber on the eve of His betrayal. Following the Passover supper, He instructed and prepared the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper for His dear est friends as a remembrance of His coming sacrifice. It was so impressively portrayed to me—the overwhelming love of the Savior for each. I wit nessed His thoughtful concern for significant details—the washing of the dusty feet of each Apostle, His breaking and blessing of the loaf of dark bread and blessing of the wine, then His dreadful disclosure that one would betray Him.

He explained Judas’s departure and told the others of the events soon to take place.

Then followed the Savior’s solemn discourse when He said to the Eleven: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33.)

Our Savior prayed to His Fat her and acknowledged the Father as the source of His authority and power—even to the extending of eternal life to all who are worthy.

He prayed, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

Jesus then reverently added:

“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

“And now, O Fat her, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.” (John 17:3–5.)

He pled not only for the disciples called out from the world who had been true to their testimony of Him, “but for them also which shall believe on me through their word.” (John 17:20.)

When they had sung a hymn, Jesus and the Eleven went out to the Mount of Olives. There, in the garden, in some man ner beyond our comprehension, the Savior took upon Himself the burden of the sins of mankind from Adam to the end of the world. His agony in the garden, Luke tells us, was so intense “his sweat was as … great drops of blood falling … to the ground.” (Luke 22:44.) He suffered an agony and a burden the like of which no human person would be able to bear. In that hour of anguish our Savior overcame all the power of Satan.

The glorified Lord revealed to Joseph Smith this admon ition to all mankind:

“Therefore I command you to repent …

“For … I, God, … suffered … for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; …

“Which suffering caused myself, even God, the great est of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, …

“Wherefore, I command you again to repent, lest I humble you with my almighty power; and that you confess your sins, lest you suffer these punishments.” (D&C 19:15–16, 18, 20.)

During those days of unconsciousness I was given, by the gift and power of the Holy Ghost, a more perfect knowledge of His mission. I was also given a more complete understanding of what it means to exercise, in His name, the authority to unlock the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven for the salvation of all who are faithful. My soul was taught over and over again the events of the betrayal, the mock trial, the scourging of the flesh of even one of the Godhead. I wit nessed His struggling up the hill in His weakened condition carrying the cross and His being stretched upon it as it lay on the ground, that the crude spikes could be driven with a mallet into His hands and wrists and feet to secure His body as it hung on the cross for public display.

Crucifixion—the horrible and painful death which He suffered—was chosen from the beginning. By that excruciating death, He descended below all things, as is recorded, that through His resurrection He would ascend above all things. (See D&C 88:6.)

Jesus Christ died in the literal sense in which we will all die. His body lay in the tomb. The immortal spirit of Jesus, chosen as the Savior of mankind, went to those myriads of spirits who had departed mortal life with varying degrees of righteousness to God’s laws. He taught them the “glorious tidings of redemption from the bondage of death, and of possible salvation, … [which was] part of [our] Savior’s foreappointed and unique service to the human family.” (James E. Talmage, Jesus the Christ, Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1977, p. 671.)

I cannot begin to convey to you the deep impact that these scenes have confirmed upon my soul. I sense their eternal meaning and realize that “nothing in the entire plan of salvation compares in any way in importance with that most transcendent of all events, the at oning sacrifice of our Lord. It is the most important single thing that has ever occurred in the entire history of created things; it is the rock foundation upon which the gospel and a ll other things rest,” as has been declared. (Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, Salt Lake City: Bookcraft, 1966, p. 60.)

“Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth.

Our most valuable worship experience in the sacrament meeting is the sacred ordinance of the sacrament, for it provides the opportunity to focus our minds and hearts upon the Savior and His sacrifice.

The Apostle Paul warned the early Saints against eating this bread and drinking this cup of the Lord unworthily. (See 1 Cor. 11:27–30.)

Our Savior Himself instructed the Nephites, “Whoso eateth and drinketh my flesh and blood unworthily [brings] damnation to his soul.” (3 Ne. 18:29.)

Worthy partakers of the sacrament are in harmony with the Lord and put themselves under covenant with Him to always remember His sacrifice for the sins of the world, to take upon them the name of Christ and to always remember Him, and to keep His commandments. The Savior covenants that we who do so shall have His spirit to be with us and that, if faithful to the end, we may inher it eternal life.

Our Lord revealed to Joseph Smith that “there is no gift greater than the gift of salvation,” which plan includes the ordinance of the sacrament as a continuous reminder of the Savior’s at oning sacrifice. He gave instructions that “it is expedient that the church meet together often to partake of bread and wine in the remembrance of the Lord Jesus.” (D&C 6:13; D&C 20:75.)

Immortality comes to us all as a free gift by the grace of God alone, without works of righteousness. Eternal life, however, is the reward for obedience to the laws and ordinances of His gospel.

I testify to all of you that our Heavenly Fat her does answer our righteous pleadings. The added knowledge which has come to me has made a great impact upon my life. ■【英語】ウクライナ情勢における頻出英単語【速習】

3月に書いた記事以降も、たくさん新しい単語を覚えてしまったので、前回のものも含めて網羅するつもりで紹介します。

政治

autocracy (独裁) - デモクラシーとの対比でよく使われる。日本語の民主と独裁より対比感あるね。
dictator (独裁者) - 命令する人、だからわかりやすい。
authoritarian (独裁主義) - authority なので権威主義という意味合いから。全部「独裁」で済ませる日本語がわかりやすいのか、解像度が低いのか？
autonomy (自治) - こちらは主に平和的な文脈で。autocracy (独裁) とまぎらわしい。auto が自動車と同じで「自分で」の意味。
sovereign (主権) - 守る・脅かされるほか、プーチンが「ウクライナは主権国家じゃない」などと言ったりもする。
referendum (国民投票) - 合成語じゃないのが美しいねぇ。
regime (政権) - 主に反プーチンの文脈で。
puppet (傀儡) - ロシアが望むウクライナ政権。あと「お前はクレムリンのパペットだ！」的な用法も。
czar (ロシア皇帝) - プーチンのこと。
coup (クーデター) - クーだけでクーデター。クーデターとはあんまり言わない。
ally (同盟国)
sanction (制裁) - いまやロシア人YouTuberの流行語。「制裁じゃないよ、special economic operation だよ」とコメントするのがYouTubeの様式美になっている。
apolitical (政治に無関心) - 実際に無関心なのかおびえているのか、ロシア人がめっちゃ言う。
deppression (憂鬱・不景気) - 戦争反対派の気持ちとしても、経済制裁による影響としても、それぞれの意味で使われる。
sane (正気) - insane! のような驚きを表現する文脈ではなく、心の平穏を保つとか、プーチンは正気なのかといった文脈。
Russophobia (ロシア嫌悪)

反戦

protest (抗議)
rally (集会) - 戦争反対デモの文脈で。仲間同士で集まるという点で ally (同盟国) と同じ由来！ protest や rally はよく聞くけど、日本のように demonstration とはあんまり言わないようだ。
disperse (追い散らす) - デモの群衆が追い散らされる。
prosecutor (検察官) - あんまり日本語の検察官と一致しないイメージ。デモ参加者や反政府分子を弾圧したりするのは police ではなく prosecutor。
detain (勾留する) - だいたい protest とワンセット。
fine (罰金) - 「結末」が語源らしい。

被害

curfew (夜間外出禁止令) - コロナで覚えた quarantine (隔離・自宅待機) に続く悲しい語彙。
refugee (難民)
flee (逃げる)
evacuate (避難する・させる) - vacume と同じ由来だね。誰もいない状態にするイメージ。
asylum (避難所)
humanitarian (人道) - 人道支援は humanitarian aid。
corridor (回廊) - 人道回廊 (humanitarian corridor) でおなじみ。
bloodshed (流血) - blood だから意味はわかるけど、shot じゃなくて shed (血や涙を流す)。
collateral (巻き添え) - 映画でおなじみの。
casualty (死傷者) - 似つかわしくないが、「たまたま不幸にも起きてしまった」的な意味でカジュアルと語源は同じらしい…。
graphic (生々しい) - 死体の映像などの事前警告で。そんな意味もあったとは…。
atrocity (残虐さ)
torture (拷問・拷問する)
orc (オーク) - いわゆるファンタジー世界の怪物オーク。ロシア軍のことを指してよく使われる。
coffin (棺桶) - たとえ話でも現実の話でもよく出てくる。
shell (砲撃) - 主に被害視点。砲弾の意味にも。artillery (砲撃) は主に発射や弾道視点。
demolish (破壊する)
rubble (がれき) - rubbish と同じ語源。
famine (飢餓) - 避難民だけでなく、ウクライナの小麦が世界にも影響を与えている。

大量虐殺

genocide (大量虐殺) - 民族全体の消滅を意図するイメージ。なんて言葉だ。
massacre (大量虐殺) - いちばんよく聞く単語。mass が付くからイメージしやすいけど、語源は不明らしい。
carnage (大量虐殺) - なんでこんなにたくさんあるのよ…。どちらかといえば結果としての死体を想起するらしい。ラテン語の「肉」由来。
holocaust (大量虐殺) - ナチスによるものを指す場合がほとんどだけど、いちおう一般名詞らしい…。
slaughter (大量虐殺) - いいかげんにしてほしい。ただしこの単語だけは「相手を打ちのめす」というカジュアルな使われ方もするし、そういう使い方のほうが多い気がする。

軍事

invasion (侵略)
aggressor (侵略者) - なぜかインベーダーはまず聞かない。逆にアグレッションも聞かない。
separatist (分離独立派) - いわゆるロシア寄りの勢力。
hostile (敵の) - 心あたたまりそうなホストとは別の語源で、host だけで敵軍のような意味。
mobilize (動員する) - 自動車関係じゃないだと！？いちおう語源は「動」の意味で共通しているようだ。
morale (士気) - カタカナのモラルのノリで捉えると違和感が生まれちゃうね。

conscript (徴集兵) - 名簿に script (記載) するという意味。draft とも言う。
volunteer (志願兵) - カタカナのボランティアとはだいぶ感覚が違うかもしれない。
contractor (契約者) - 契約軍人。
infantry (歩兵) - だいぶ意味は飛躍しちゃってるけど infant (幼児) と語源は同じらしい。若者、初歩の兵科ということで。
brigade (旅団) - でかい。国によって違うけど、数千人。
battalion (大隊) - 数百人。以下、他にも規模ごとに用語はあるけどだいたい戦況マップレベルでは brigade か battalion。
troop (軍隊) - 軍事用語としては数十人の部隊を指すらしいけど、規模によらず一般的に使える。
convoy (輸送・護衛車隊) - コンボイの謎。でしか馴染みがなかった。

戦術

provoke (引き起こす) - 挑発と訳されがちだけど、「何か(相手にとって)よくないことを引き起こそうとしてやってる」みたいな感覚。けしかける。
sabotage (敵の設備などを破壊する) - 日本語のサボるとまったく違うじゃねーか！語源は同じで設備を壊す勢いで反抗したことによるものらしい。こっわ。
reconnaissance (偵察) - 単語の響きに似合わぬ意味だ…。recon とも。
ambush (伏兵) - 語源も茂み(bush)に隠れるってことでわかりやすい。
cease (やめる) - cease fire で停戦。頻出だが、書くときは意識して綴らないと間違える。発音もシースで濁らない。
siege (包囲) - ゲーム「レインボーシックスシージ」で聞き馴染みがあった。
seize (奪取する) - cease siege seize おまえら互いに擬態し合ってんじゃねぇよｗｗｗ
retreat (撤退する)

武器

munition (軍需品)
ammunition (弾薬) - munition からの派生語。元は言葉の間違いだったらしい。まぎらわしいけど、意味を取り違えても大差はない。
mortar (迫撃砲) - 正しい定義はさておき、元々はいわゆる車輪付きの「大砲」を指したけど、現代では1人で担げるサイズを指すイメージ。建築用語のモルタルとちゃうんかい！Wikipediaによれば→ 『この語の本来の意味は「臼」や「乳鉢」だが、短くて肉厚な砲身が臼に似ていることからMortarと呼ばれるようになった。このため日本語では「臼砲」と- 呼ばれる』とのこと。むしろモルタルの方こそ臼の意味から転じたらしい。
howitzer (榴弾砲) - 迫撃砲と違って数人がかりの砲台というイメージ。見出しとかで大文字で始まると固有名詞のように見えてしまうが一般名詞。
shell (砲弾) - 攻撃視点では砲弾、被害視点では砲撃の意味で使われる。
artillery (砲撃) - 主に発射や弾道視点。

の5つの基準だって書いてあるね。

わかりやすく言うなら

1. 危害を加えないこと

2. 公正であること

3. 集団内で結束すること

4. 権力に従うこと

5. 欲望を抑えること

といったところか。

で、上二つだけを支持し、下三つを軽視するのがリベラル、

すべてを支持している（相対的に下三つを重視している）のが保守だと。

なるほど、これは直感的にもわかりやすい。

主にアメリカ人の研究であって、日本だと多少違いそうだけどな。

もちろん「だからリベラルは配慮が足りていない」ということではない。

どちらも善良さに違いはなく、ただ「チャンネル」の数が違うだけだ。

チャンネルの数が違うことによって、それぞれに欠点が生まれている。

ジョナサン・ハイトはもともとリベラルで、

後に「リベラルの欠点に気付いた」人であるから、

この本もリベラルに向けて書かれていて、

特にリベラルの誤りを指摘するようなことが書かれている。

日本版の「リベラルはなぜ勝てないのか」という煽りがミスリードな感じがするな。

そう言われてもアメリカ大統領選だって交互に勝ってるけど…って思っちゃう。

保守の演説が本当に上手いかはともかく、

「リベラルの言い方では響かない層がいる」くらいの理解をした。

■フリースタイルバトルの強さと音源の良さはまた違うところまでは分かった

最近好きな人はICE BAHNとブライアンとBlumio。日本語ラップって数か月前まで全く興味なかったけど、面白いんだね。かっこいいラップはかっこいい。

雨トークのラップ紹介を見て日本語ラップを聞き出した。

それまでは、パラッパラッパーは好きでかなり聞いていたんだけど、何となく日本語ラップは興味持てなかった。

そもそもガチのラップで好きだったのはパラッパラッパーくらいで、ラップもやってます的な中でもgroup_inouやレッチリが好きだった程度。

それで、最初はフリースタイルダンジョンが面白いのでよく見ていた。

たまに即興でめちゃくちゃかっこよいこというから面白い。

最初はACEやR指定のフリースタイルがかっこいいと思ってた。

で、次にいろいろ好きなラッパーも知るようになってきて、呂布カルマもかっこいいなってなった。IDは好きじゃないけど、バトルの強さはすげえなと思う。

mu-tonかっこいいけど何言ってるかわかんねえ。

Authorityがアウソリティって呼ばれてるのが何でかよくわからない。

それでたまに見るforkって人も認識できるようになってきた。

で、なんか「越冬」っていう曲も聞いてみたけど、まあよく分からなかった。

のだが、zeebraのyoutube 動画で越冬の韻を解説するっていうのがあって、それ見て高度な韻踏みすぎてやべえなって思った。https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luBM9f4TAeg

それでもう一度聞いてみたら、かっけえってなった。なんでだ全然なりやまねえ！

そこからforkが属するICE BAHNをいろいろ聞いてみたが、韻が固いから聞いていてすげーかっこいいんだよね。

kitって人の「kitだぜい」ってうのもかっこいい。

R指定すごい有名で聞き始めのころは音源もまあいいんじゃないかと思って聞いていたが、今は彼の曲はなんか浮ついてると思う。まあICE BAHNと比べたらかもしれんが。

なんかね、ギャグっぽいところがかっこよくないと思う。ふざけたところでふざけた声のラップになるところ。あと、さびっぽいやついるの？パラッパラッパーもレッチリもふざけた内容だけど、全員テンションはシリアス。なんかcreepy nuts（R指定が属するグループ）の音源からはhip hopを感じない。popなら感じる。

もちろんICE BAHNはラップのテンションも内容もかっけえって感じ。

書いてて分かったが自分はパラッパラッパーやICE BAHNみたいな固いラップが好きなんだな。こういう表現で合ってるか分からんけど

もちろん、R指定はバトルで最強だと思うし、テレビでのフリートークも上手だと思う。

でも音源の良さとはまた別なんやね。

ICE BAHNは良いですね。

ダンジョンライブしてたT STONE意外とかっこよくてびっくりした。

ブライアンのあの挑発ラップすごいと思う。韻の踏み方が多様だし、最後の方の「教えてやるよラップのワンツースリー」の「ワンツースリー」で踏んでるところのリズムが独特で面白いと思う。ブライアンに返事してるラップの中で、ライムがある人もいるけどブライアンほど面白くて多様なリズムの人はいない気がする。https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCty81AzUlU

■日本版 CDCに必要なもの

岩田さんがCCJの記者会見で主張していたCDCに必要なものと、日本の官僚組織との差異を書く。まずは下記が記者会見における記者からの質問と岩田さんの答えである。

質問: Do you think of the problem that you saw on the ship originated from was it because of the bad examples of a scientific decision making in terms of the cris is management that was happening on the ship?
答え: The simple answer is the lack of CDC as I said before. Why the situation inside that cruise ship had an inadequate infection prevention? I think (this) is because of the lack of principle. The infection prevention is a principle, and the principle will lead to the procedure not the other way around.
The principle will never be given by the bureaucrats, because they never had infection prevention training, they don't have an experience, and they don't have a system. CDC has should have all of these.

質問：You have argued Japan need something like a CDC. Could you elaborate more about your argument? What shortcoming do you see in the current system in Japan?
答え：For CDC, you need to have a concrete, separate, independent system among experts who can make a dicision in responding to these infectious disease epidemics. This has to be proffesional, they need to have an authority, they need to have an autonomy, and they need to have a clear independence. There should not be any cross-cutting from anybody from the backyard, because I've seen many things that are decided behind the scene.

この会見から、いまの官僚組織の問題点は下記が含まれる可能性がある。

専門家が意思決定を下しておらず、素人が意思決定を素人判断で下している。
組織が官僚組織から独立していない
組織に自治権がない
科学ではなく、情緒的・政治的な意思決定がされている。

なぜ官僚 組織がだめなのか

CDCに官僚が入ると何がダメなのか。官僚の持つ悪い特徴は下記のとおりである。

科学的判断を下せる能力を持った専門家ではない。すなわち素人である（科学的判断にとって）。素人が判断を下せば、科学的に正しい対処が行われない結果、人命が失われる。官僚は単なる試験に通っただけの人である。
専門家ではないのに専門的な判断を下さなければならない。そのため、一生懸命限られたリソースを使ってどうにかする。ただし専門家ではないので、思いついた方法がいいこともあればひどいこともある。ダーツを投げている感じである。
官僚の上司は政治家である。すなわち、政治家の顔を伺い、空気を読むことで出世し、給料が増える仕組みである。
組織として、科学的判断を下せる人に責任が与えられていない。何か文句を言われた際に政治家や国民に分かるように説明できないといけないため、科学ではなく「（バカでもわかる）もっともらしい理屈や証拠」をもとに意思決定をした（ということにする）
もっともらしい意思決定、にはもっともらしい専門家っぽい人（実際に専門家かどうかではなく、そのように世間的に肩書などを見て見える人）を使う
官僚組織は何か言われたときのために防御することが重要である。そのため、科学的に正しくとも自らの組織を批判から守れないことを行わない。国民（素人）がトップ（政治家）を選び、政治家からの批判が自らの組織の解体や自らのクビにつながるからである。

上記の特徴から、官僚が組織に入った瞬間に非科学的な、空気を読んだ、防御的な、ただしもっともらしい類の行動が実施される。今回のクルーズ船対応はまさにその通りである。下記にいくつか非科学的な判断が官僚によってなされた例をあげる。

何度か繰り返していますが治癒証明や退院基準に検査陰性２回のルールは今すぐ改め、退院後の自宅療養期間など時間を根拠にしたほうがいいです。検査はウイルスの非存在を証明しませんし検査キットや人員を枯渇させます。皆の納得安心ではなく論理、合理、科学、そしてサステイナビリティを根拠にすべき— 岩田健太郎 Kentaro Iwata (@georgebest1969) February 21, 2020

■UMB　感想 日記

今年UMBに行くのはとても迷っていた。

正直知らない人が多くてあまり魅かれなかったし、チケットを買うタイミングをミスって二階席が取れなかったこともあり、ぎりぎりまで悩んだが、結局行くことにした。

■どうだったか

最高だったので、今年(2019年)も行きます。

戦極やKOKに出るのはある程度選別された上、関東・関西を中心に有名どころが出てくるのもあって、ほぼすべての登場人物を知っている状態にある。

でもそんな自分でも、UMBの出場者の半分くらいは何も知らなかった。(この人去年も出てたなあ、くらいの知識)

その次々と誰かよく分からない人が出てくるのが、どこか思い入れのない学校が次々出てくる甲子園に近いものを感じ、理由ない応援が自然と出てきた。

おそらく、出場者の彼らも相手がどんな奴か知らないからこそ無茶カマせるし、「自己紹介から始める」という大義名分を得ることができた、と思う。

これがUMBの特色となりえるポテンシャルを感じた。

ただこれは有名MCたちがUMB離れを加速させたからこそ出た特色であり、棚ぼた的なものかもしれない。

■疑問とか

陪審員 システムに？の箇所あり。

10:0で会場は輪入道に挙げたのに、陪審員は0:10で相手の票になって延長したり(システムエラーか票の操作ミス)、

もう終わらせてやれよって泥仕合が繰り広げられたりもした。でもまあ、それでも去年よりは泥仕合が少なかったかなあ。

■以下、各MCの感想　箇条書き

松島のこと少し許せるようになった。あの「ある程度のシナリオを用意してくる」スタイルが好きではなかったけど、今回はなんか許せた。

BALA、俺が主役だぜって感じで出てきたのに、一回戦で負けてウケた。自分はjony the sonataに挙げた。

GOTIT、優勝もあるかと思ったポテンシャルだった。惜しい。ニガリや椿に対しても強く、なんとなくNAIKAMCに近いものを感じた。必要以上に熱くなく、良いユーモア感があった。

SKRYUくんは良かった～。去年のKOKプレーオフ？かな、あの時よりも印象すごく良かった。脱力しつつ会話重視で、ニガリ倒したかと思った。

SAMはかかり過ぎたかなあ？　戦極のほうが良かった。来年頑張ってほしい。

輪入道は一回戦の延長が良すぎた。DVD買って見てほしい。あと、終始相手の良いとこを出させた上で、それを乗り越えるみたいな少年漫画バトルをやろうとしてるように感じた。

KZの良さ分かんないなあ。お前優勝したの？っていうくらい負けた試合かなんかで語っててウケた。どの位置で語ってんの？

紅桜に対しては、もうずーーーーーっと「早く歌って」って思ってた。「歌ったら勝てるよ」って紅に教えたかった。相手に腹パンしたの笑った。また出てほしい。音源聞こう。

T-STONEはよかった～。だーひーのとこも勝っても良かった。オロナミンCの話をもっと展開すれば勝てたかも。

椿はよくわかんなかった～。残念。

むら、惜しかった～。KAKKYのとこは陪審員にさっさと決めてくれって思ってた。延長し続けて、終始客判定で勝ってたむらが負けたのも不運。

APACHEは良かった、なんか存在感あった。地元の先輩にいたらかっこいいだろうな。

なんか名前忘れたけど、静岡の子の地元のマイメン(多分)が声援送りまくってるの良かった。甲子園っぽい～。

だーひー輝いてた～。MU-TONのとこ勝ってたら本当に人生変わった(と思う)。客の判定責任は重い、と感じた。戦極のときの欠点としてたキャラ付けは、EP リリースの件で変えられたと思う、すごい。

AUTHORITYくんは韻も堅かったけど、アンサーも定型の返しじゃないのも良かった。「お前の街の話してくれよ」って言われて「桜の一番きれいな街から来た」ってのも良かった(彼は青森代表)。あといちいち持ってくるフレーズにロマンを感じた。

MU-TONは強かった。一時期の「プロップス持ってる」感じは少し冷めてるように感じてた、だからこそ今回の優勝に価値があると思う。客はちゃんと判定してMU-TONをチャンプにした。やりがちなお涙頂戴一切しなかったのも単純にカッコよかった。

なぜ、看護師などの医療従事者のモラルが問題となり、医療従事者の中で「看護師は特別」という自意識を持つものが多いのだろうか。基本となる看護師ー患者関係を見てみよう。基本的な大前提として、患者と医療者の関係は対等ではない。

　欧米での看護師に関する看護倫理を見てみる。

　医療を受ける患者の弱みに付け入ったり、看護師の立場上得られる力を乱用しない、というのが患者ー看護師の間における信頼関係の基本となる。

　と、このように欧米での基本的な教育と看護指針では、これ以上ないくらいはっきりと明記している。

　しかし驚くべきことに日本における看護教育の課程や臨床現場のみならず、看護協会にも学会にもこの観点から指摘した具体的な倫理規範も指針・ガイドラインも一切存在しない。日本では臨床の看護師も当然、誰一人知らない。

　つまり、看護師達は、権力を乱用したり弱みに付け込んでいる、という事すら、認識しないで、乱用しまくっている状態が多いのだ。態度の悪い、タメ口を平気で使う若い看護師を見れば分かる話だ。
