子供がYoutubeを見てパルワールドをやりたいと言い出した。
自分のゲーム用のPCはあるが、子供に高価なPCを用意するのも難しい。
せっかくなので一緒にやるかと思い、方法を調べた。
案１．Xbox Cloud Gaming 1210円/月
Android,iOS等からクラウド上のPCに接続できる。（らしい）
Microsoftアカウントを登録しなくてはならない。クレジットカードが必要なので、18歳未満のアカウントでは課金できない。
子のアカウントにクレジットカードを登録するのは嫌だったので、断念。
案２．仮想デスクトップ(Hyper-V)で子供用の環境を作る。
【Host( Win11 Pro)＞Hyper-V( Win11 Pro)】 ＜ (RemoteDesktop) MiniPC(Win11 Pro)
せっかくなので教育も兼ねてPCを用意したほうが良いかと思い、採用。
構築にホスト側はWindows11 Proが必要。クライアントもWindowsのライセンスが必要。
Hyper-V上のOSは、そのままではHostPCのグラボを使用できないが、GPU-PVを設定することでHostとHyperV上で同時にパルワールドを動かすのに問題なかった。(Geforce4070Ti)
Hyper-V上ではSteam版のパルワールド(0.1.3)は起動しなかった。(GPUパススルーに対応していないエラーが出てCPUのみで起動しようとする)
MicrosoftStore版(0.1.1.2)では動作した。 (無料で1時間試遊できる)
・RemoteDesktop
SteamLinkでMicrosotStore版のパルワールドを無理やりライブラリに入れたが起動せず、パッドが認識しなかった。
Windows標準のリモートデスクトップ接続では、グループポリシーを変更することでパッドが使用できたが、遅延が気になるので断念。
Sunshine＋Moonlightが良い感じに動いたので採用。
軽い気持ちで環境構築を始めたが、躓くところが多く大変だった。
リモートデスクトップ用のミニPC(N100)は1.7万円程度で購入。マイクラ程度なら動くらしいので、このまま教育用にプレゼントすることにする。

しかしMoonlightとかSteamLinkとかのプロトコルは遅延がすくなく極めて有能なのだけど、SONY独自なのかな。
と思ったけどPS4のEmotion Engineを4Uとかのサーバに32個とかつっこんで運用してるのであれば、
中古の自社チップだからそれほど高くないし、月額1000円ちょいで提供もできるか。にしても大盤振る舞いだとはおもうが。
占有ホスト方式だとどうやって不具合時に切り替えてるのか気になる。
誰向けでもない。ヘビロテした曲たち
MacBookでDQ10を遊びたいと思った。ゲーム用のデカいWinPCはとても使いづらい部屋に置いてあるからだ。
実はDQ10、最近ブラウザ版が出た。じゃあこのブラウザ版をMacBookで遊べばいいじゃんという話になったが、うちの回線は夜になるとスピードがガタ落ちになるため遊びたいときにまともに使えないことがわかった。ゲームコントローラーはPS4用のDualShock4。これもUSBで接続しなければ使えなかった。MacBookの本体にあるのはUSB-Cで、DS4にあるのはmicro-Bなので、アダプタをかまさないとMacBookに繋がらない。ここも面倒だった。
なので、ブラウザ版は諦めて家のWinPCにリモートデスクトップでつないでドラクエ10を遊べばいいじゃんと思ったのだが、今度はリモートデスクトップだとコントローラーが使えない。
まぁ、そこら辺が全部解決したので記録しておく。
まず、リモートデスクトップは諦める。その代わりにMoonlight（https://moonlight-stream.org/）を使う。
まずWinPCがnvidiaのグラボを積んでいることが条件。ゲーム用に組んだPCだったのでここはクリア。
そしてnvidiaのGeForce Experience softwareをWinPCにダウンロード、インストール。これを使うとゲーム配信とかができるらしいが、その配信システムを希望のプラットフォームのMoonlightクライアントで受信して遊ぶという流れ。
MoonlightはWin版、Mac版、Linux版、ChromeOS版、iOS版、Android版、のみならずラズパイとかでも遊べるらしい。とにかく超いろんなプラットフォームに対応している。
次に、GeForce ExperienceでSHIELDオプションをオンにする。これはリモートデスクトップ経由では設定できなかったので注意。
あと、同じオプションカテゴリでストリームするゲームが設定できるが、DQ10を遊びたかったらDQXBootという名前のexeファイルを指定しておくこと。
それから、希望するプラットフォーム（今回はMacOS）のMoonlightをダウンロードする。で、起動すると自動的にストリーミング設定を完了しているWinPCを見つけてくれる。
ここまできてMoonlightはコントローラーが簡単に使えるという話だったが、Bluetoothで繋いだDS4が使えない。USB接続すると使える。
ここも調べてみたら、プレイステーションの公式ブログにCatalinaなら直接Bluetoothで使えるようになったよとあったので、MacBookのOSをCatalinaにアップデートする。すると使えるようになった。
これら全てをクリアして、寝室のMacBookで無線のDS4を使いながらだらだらと遊ぶというダメ人間の城が完成した。
Moonlight、本来はSteamのためのものだったらしい。なのでDQXに限らずSteamゲームもバリバリ遊べると思う。以上。

騙されたと思って聴いてみて欲しい。
今までは家庭用ゲーム機の規約が厳しくて日本のゲームは少なかったけど、最近は大手も乗り出してきてなかなかいい感じに仕上がりつつある。
もしCPUにcore i5の3世代目以上を搭載しているなら、2万円くらいから手に入るグラフィックボードGTX-1050以上を購入すればPS4レベルの画質を楽しめる。
（今後VRを楽しみたいなら3万円弱のGTX-1060がおすすめ）
あとはキーボードなりゲームパッド（xbox360のものが使える。なくても2千円くらいでxinput互換のものが買える。）で家庭用ゲーム機同様にゲームが楽しめる。
今ならNier automataが断然おすすめだが、本日突如としてBayonettaが発売開始になったのでアクションゲーム好きは絶対にプレイしてほしい。
2000円ちょっとだ。
しかも頻繁にセールをしているので、気になったタイトルはウィッシュリストに入れておくと勝手にセールの通知をくれるようになる。
日本のタイトルでも30～50％は当然だし、海外タイトルになると75％とか割引することがある。中古より全然安い。
これくらいならどこにでも書いてあるようなことなので別に今更掘り下げる内容ではないのだけど、それらゲームを高画質のままiPhoneやiPad、android端末でプレイできてしまうという超すごいことになってるから聞いてほしい。
どちらにもmoonlightという無料アプリがある。無料なのだよ。神アプリなのに無料。
それをインストールして、PC側のNVIDIA Geforce experienceのSHIELDの項目からリモートをオンにすれば、デスクトップのゲームをストリーミングで楽しめてしまう。
ストリーミングといえど遅延はほぼ体感できない。（無線環境が普通に整っていればおおよそ1フレーム以下しか遅延はない。）
シビアな入力を求められる対戦ゲームには向かないかもしれない。しかしちょっとしたアクションゲームくらいなら遅延に気づかないくらいスムーズにプレイできる。
ただし、プレイをするにはそれぞれの端末に対応したゲームパッドが必要で、iOS向けだと6000円、androidなら2000円程度かかってしまうことになる。
しかしそれさえ用意してしまえば、家中どこでもゲームがし放題だ。
デスクトップでやればいいと思うかもしれない。
でも家庭の事情的に、それほど自室に篭りきっているわけにも行かない場合もある。
そんなとき、家の中どこにいてもデスクトップレベルのゲームを楽しむことができるとしたらどうか。
食事中だって傍らにタブレット端末を置きながらあんなゲームやこんなゲームもできてしまうのだ。
眠ってたiPadやタブレットが快適なゲームストリーミング端末に化ける。12インチiPad proがようやく自分の中で日の目を見た。

正確に言うと、Mr.Moonlight 〜愛のビッグバンド〜は知ってるってだけでそこまで好きなわけじゃない。
それ以外は全部好き。明るく盛り上がったり明るいバラードが好き。
